Re: The Junior Series Thread
The Indian Max Verstappen will be in Formula Renault NEC for 2016! He's had a decent time in karts, so it will be interesting to see him step up to open wheel formulae.

Re: FIA confirms new F1 superlicence points system
The announcement of the new super licensing rules (requiring drivers to receive 300km testing in a Formula One car built after 2011) has led to Perrinn and a European constructor to pursue building their own chassis that conform to the 2016 regulations, in order to allow drivers a chance to accumula...

Zamparelli was always a little on the insipid side himself, so I would say it's the perfect match.

Audi supplying the engines for the new F2 series wouldn't be too much of a stretch, given they supplied the engines for the 2009-2012 series.

Rather ridiculous that a series that doesn't exist is given greater weighting than all series that do, including the senior endurance series.
Maybe they're going to take the old glorified Formula Palmer Audi F2 chassis out of mothballs.

Marciello has snapped up the Sauber 3rd driver position: m I wonder if he was ever a consideration for a Marussia seat when it looked like they'd be around for 2015. This move certainly gives indications that they think Marciello is ready. Smart move from Ferrari. This puts pressure on both Nasr an...

I seem to remember that Dallara were going to design the first Haas F1 car (from their USA design office, so Haas could claim it was a US effort, though for windtunnel testing Dallara will either have to use Windshear, or their Italian windtunnel), and then Haas were going to actually construct the ...

Formula Sochi, the promoter of the Russian Grand Prix has filed for bankruptcy; the rouble is collapsing; Russian monetary reserves have been depleted by trying to prop up the rouble; thanks to inflation, the Russian Grand Prix will cost twice as much to host ($80m).
