Surprised I haven't seen this posted here, but it seems AutoGP is dead.

Wasn't this Coloni's baby? Sad day in Rejectland.

It was: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5995&start=80#p342787

Nevertheless it's not actually dead yet. They are still holding out hope for more entries so they can continue the championship, but even so it does look like this could be the end.

It's hard to have sympathy for Jungle Boy when he stole Lotterer's rightful F1 debut with Jaguar away from him, then proceeded to do nothing with that opportunity. So good riddance! Go back to being a mediocre midfielder in Stock Car Brasil. :x

Pizzonia is an F1 Reject that I have a lot of respect for, so as much as your point is fair, no-one will dampen my enthusiasm for the Brazilian! :D Plus I follow him on Instagram. BTW he deserved his chances in Formula 1 (but yes, I agree that if he had any good days, they're behind him now).

Can anybody explain to me why the FA1 merger fell through? I didn't hear anything about that.

Basically, they had a deal that would ensure a minimum 18-car grid through a merger. The FA1 promoters failed to bring any new entrants to the series, so the partnership was terminated. That's what it says here anyway.
