2011 in Haiku

Post by noisebox »

Here's my offering

Seb was annoying
That's what I'm talking about
Sky F1? No thanks
"will you stop him playing tennis then?", referring to Montoya's famous shoulder injury, to which Whitmarsh replied "well, it's very difficult to play tennis on a motorbike"

Button was superb
Nick Heidfeld is slightly bored

Fully understandable

The Finger held high.
We saw it eleven times.
Less times next year please.

Lotus v Lotus.
So easy to confuse them.
One Lotus next year.

Ferrari we're slow.
McLaren better, just.
Too easy for Seb.

Rejects of the year

I can't do haikus. But I can do limericks.

There was a young man named Vettel
Whose season went really well
But David Coulthard
Found pronouncing his name very hard
And so Martin Brundle gave him hell.

There once was a man named Hamilton
Who enjoyed being McLaren's favoured son
But he would occasionally stray
Into Felipe
And so it was Button who won.

Here's Jarno Trulli
'Power steering is a-bad'
Jarno, give up now.

Heidfeld got replaced
Bruno Senna on the way
Somehow got more bored

Vettel has some cake
Coulthard pops along to see
Cake splat on Square-Jaw

...there.

It's ADX Wales!
Complaining about everything,
Why does he still watch?

Welcome back Pedro!
HRT need two drivers,
Luca Badoer!

No Haikus about
one Narain Karthikeyan
His name is too long.

Some ROTR themed haikus

For Brazil's Rubens
Experience does not help
Stupid collision

Lewis Hamilton
Crashes into two drivers
Destroys Pastor's race

Nick and Kamui crash
Debris everywhere on straight
Marshal falls to ground

Grand Prix of Europe
Valencia, dull again
Thanks Hermann Tilke

Epic fail of season
In the slippery pit lane
D'Ambrosio spins

Felipe Massa
Never go over the kerb
Too violently

Maldonado fails
know the meaning of blue flags
Not once but two times

In their farewell joy
Virgin finally gets one
Reject of the Race
