Another alternative championship? You gotta be kidding me!

Post by Phoenix »

That's right! From the author of the Qualifying Cup and Rejects Championship, here it comes the SNAKE QUALIFYING RESULTS TOURNAMENT.
Ze rulez:
-The points system will be the same as the year in question.
-The points will be given to the top bottom-of-the-grid drivers (top 5, 6, 8 and 10).
-Indianapolis 500 results will not be counted towards the championship.
-Drivers that have failed to prequalify will not be able to score points. To be eligible, drivers have to take part in qualifying proper, even if they are not able to set a time then.
With this explained, let's begin!
1950

1-Johnny CLAES - 26
2-Harry SCHELL - 14
3-Toni BRANCA - 12
4-Peter WHITEHEAD - 8
5-Charles POZZI - 8
6-Paul PIETSCH - 8
7-Louis CHIRON - 8
8-Joe FRY - 6
9-Franco COMOTTI - 6
10-Geoff CROSSLEY - 6
11-David MURRAY - 6
12-Joe KELLY - 4
13-Alfredo PIAN - 4
14-Clemente BIONDETTI - 4
15-Nello PAGANI - 3
16-Eugene CHABOUD - 3
17-Robert MANZON - 3
18-Franco ROL - 2
19-Pierre LEVEGH - 2
20-Reg PARNELL - 2
21-Felice BONETTO - 2

Well, seems there's not a single mediocrity championship Johnny Claes can't win  He was a very clear champion.
