F1 Rejects Championship Round 11 - Japan
Japan - home to Taki Inoue, Takuma Sato, Kamui Kobayashi, Super Aguri and the 11th round of the F1 Rejects Championship. The famous Suzuka circuit hosts the race as the series enters the home stretch, and while previous year's races have been extremely wet this years race is going to be held in full sunshine. There has been a change in rules which sees all competitors using the same car.

Results
GP4
1. Wizzie - 23'49.734
F1C 99-02
1. Klon - 26'37.159
ROTR (German GP)
=1. Johnny Herbert, =1. kostas
IIDOTR (German GP)
=1. Enforcer, =1. Klon
As you can obviously see, there were only two entries for this round. This could mean at least two things, one is that people don't have the time to participate and the other being that the new rules for car selection were disliked by most people.
I have decided on two options; one is to finish the remaining rounds with the old rules for car selection, the other is to start a new season with shorter races or time trials.

Option Two please. Time was a problem - considering my 97% retirement rate (I actually calculated this!) I had to spend a lot of time doing a race.
Hence why I had come up with the Hot Lap Cup - though there wasn't much interest in that either.
Re: F1 Rejects Championship Round 11 - Japan
If you'd ask me (which I know you don't, but anyhow...) I'd say we have a summer "problem". With temperatures at around 30-35° Celsius even in Schleswig-Holstein, no one really will bother to much with this type of things. So I'd propose to quickly do enough rounds to give me the championship (just kidding) and make a break before starting Season 2 somewhere around late September, early October with the same rules and we will see a rise in player figures again
Re: F1 Rejects Championship Round 11 - Japan
Or, wait until F1 2010 comes out in September and organise a championship for that.
Better than 'Tour in a suit case' Takagi.

Re: F1 Rejects Championship Round 11 - Japan
What platforms is it coming out on Shinji? Does anyone know? Not really applicable to me as my laptop can't even manage SBK 06 (!) but if it's coming out on Xbox I'll buy a copy to play on my roommates Xbox when I get back to uni. That way I might be able to participate properly in the new season

F1 2010 will be out on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
I will also buy F1 2010 for Xbox...heck, we could have an online championship this way.

You could ease off and not try to drive 20 qualy laps.
To be honest, I don't even remember seeing this thread - haven't been on a whole lot outside GP weekends lately, but I'm not sure I'd have found the time anyway.
I'd go with option 2 - maybe wait until F1 2010 is out, because I think everyone on here who can afford the game will buy it.

Excellent, looks like I'll be getting that then, and yeah exactly, if we all hold fire for a while, wait till say October/November when everyone who wants to buy the game and particpate actually has it, we could all join up and play a game 'live'. Heck if there's enough of us we could even have regional 'divisions' to combat the time zone difference issues as obviously we've got members all over the planet. Maybe a bit OTT but something to consider perhaps if there is enough interest. Everyone playing the one game would also make it more simple for everyone, and we're more likely to have a decent number of people playing so we can have some proper results, rejects, IIDOTRs etc etc

I will invest in F1 2010 as one of my roommates has an Xbox 360. And then you can all see how awful I am at racing games.

Re: F1 Rejects Championship Round 11 - Japan
I have decided to end the current series (because of the summer - at least in the northern hemisphere - "problem" suggested by Klon) and start a new season in September using F1 2010. The main problems with this would be that some people here won't have a PS3, Xbox 360 or a computer powerful enough to run the game. If the series was run online there would be more possible problems, including time zone differences, slow internet connections resulting in lag or disconnection from the race session and different game consoles (e.g. most members who have posted in this thread own - or have access to - a Xbox 360 and are most likely planning to get the 360 version whereas I have a PS3).

I have a PS3 and a PSP but no access to an XBox (or a KTM XBow...). Would consider joining in with this then...

The only things I have access to are my trusty PCs.
And since the championship ended today does it mean I'm officially the 2010 F1 Rejects World Champion?

Even with a second driver, Enforcer Racing Engineering couldn't beat MRT.
That's probably partially my fault
