2021 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix - Predicament Predictions!
2021 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix - Predicament Predictions!
Predicament Predictions is back!
It's the show that never ends! Welcome one and all to Round 2 of this season's Predicament Predictions, where g r a n d p r i z e s await the lucky winners and the expert predicters on our forum! I wasn't expecting a three-week break between races so I hope your predicting caps are still on and that you're ready for our second round.
One thing I completely forgot to mention last time is that, at any time (including the last round, whoops!), you can activate double points. Bear in mind that this is for one round only, so make sure to absolutely use it wisely. It could make or break your Predicament Predictions season.
Last round our defending champion RAK won by just a single point. However, after only one round there is still so much to play for. Therefore it's time to get predicting again and get an answer in! For anyone who doesn't know the rules, check out the Bahrain Grand Prix Predicament Predictions thread for anything you might need. Here's the template: below:

Re: 2021 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix - Predicament Predictions
Fantastic to see so many participants yet again! Now that the race awards are in, let's announce our winners and our standings
After Emilia-Romagna, most of the points were got by the lucky ones who in fact didn't predict craziness at the front. Everyone who guessed correctly the Verstappen-Hamilton 1-2 bagged a tonne of points at the expense of almost everything else which wasn't predictable. Anyhoo, let's look at the results of round 2:

Getz has become our lucky winner of round 2 here at San Marino! Much like at Bahrain, there has been a very even spread amongst all of our participants, so no real runaway winners as of yet. But good job Getz, perhaps with that consistency we have a new championship contender in our midst!
How does that shape up the Predicament Predictions title with two races gone? Well, let's have a look:

Forever in the shadow of RAK, dr-baker is stepping out early this season to take the championship lead. Perhaps, just maybe, this is the start of a championship challenge. Incredibly early to say, but it seems like our regular contenders are making their way to the top of the standings yet again.
Let's see how it all shapes up after our next round in *checks notes* Portugal! See you then (I'm totally opening up that thread tomorrow anyway haha)
