Re: 2019 Indy Lights - Sponsor phase complete
Will you have a timespan for when future sponsorship markets open? And since a few sponsors did not get snapped up will they go for another round of bids? I could use some clarification please.

Don't forget that there are drivers within North American Formula 4 that seek to take the next step up in their careers. If you want someone fresh or different, this can be a place to look: http://formularejects.com/wiki/2018_Nor ... a_4_season

Pending confirmation, Roberto Zayas accepts an offer for a PES Team meaning he will rule out running for a seat here and be removed from the drivers List

You don't need to wait. There are still 2 spots left (minimum), so you can use the following entry form. Remember that you can only ask for up to either 5 sponsors per car, or up to 3 pay-drivers and 3 sponsors per car.

This needs some more work done for it to be accepted. Take a look back at the opening post, and the previous post as well, and see if you can fix it. Whatever's there on Sept 8 is what'll get run, no matter what, though.

Re: 2019 Indy Lights - Sponsor phase complete
The RNG for Panthera's entry has been complete. By some stroke of luck, all five sponsor approaches were successful, and so both the #21 and #93 have full funding for the season.
Now just waiting for IndyCar's driver signing process to conclude so ours can begin.

Re: 2019 Indy Lights - Sponsor phase complete
Better late than never, let Stage 3 begin.
This is the point where you go out and hire some drivers. Remember that even though Stage 2 allowed you to hire Pay-Drivers, you can still do so in Stage 3 as well, if they are on the official PD list.
I would also like to remind you that is your responsibility to ensure your hires match the criteria set by the sponsors you have signed. I will not stop you from signing a driver to a contract that is incompatible with one or more sponsors on your team, and it will be your responsibility to climb your own way out of the hole you dig by doing so! I will also expect not to see any audience interference to this effect either - let things play out instead.
Certain teams who have yet to sign enough sponsors to kick off the season can expect some offers to get their cars on the grid for the opening round via PM inbox, so look out for those.
Also, with the departure of MASEN (matisena has not logged in for a while), there are two slots available for a team or two to take. Megatone has been released back into the sponsor pool as a result. You can go through the pro formas in Stage 1, 2 and 3 in one go.
Here is the Stage 3 form to fill out. If you pick a PD, please mark their name with [PD] at the end, if for no other reason than to make my life a tad easier! Included is an example of how to fill the form out. There is a limit of 3 driver bids per car if you are signing one driver for the whole season, or 6 bids if you are splitting the seat between multiple drivers at different races.

I was hoping people would use common sense, and thus I wouldn't have to make a hard-and-fast written rule for this, but hey-ho, sharks get jumped.
Drivers cannot have more than three seasons worth of combined experience in top categories outside America (F1, ARWS), or two seasons worth of experience in IndyCar. Drivers cannot have scored more than a single podium in any of these three categories.
Steele has too large a CV in ARWS to be here.

The colour coding is important. Green means the car is all set for the season, and your job covering costs is done. Blue means you're fine for now, but will need to find some more cash at the next round of sponsor signing after Indy to make it to the end of the year. Orange or Red means your car is out of play until you either hire a Pay-Driver after Round 1 is complete, or a new Sponsor after Round 4 when the sponsorship market re-opens.

MEMORANDUM
To: Panthera Competition
From: Marketing Executive, Waste Management
Subject: Worrying driver choice
Dear Panthera MD,
We at Waste Management are very concerned by your recent driver announcement. You have announced Francesco Pepitto as your lead driver in the car financially supported by our organisation, despite him not fitting our requested criteria.
While you are understandably free to employ someone else during races we are not bankrolling your car, we expect a driver matching our requirements to be in place for the six races we are paying for. If we do not see a change announced by the time the Freedom 100 has finished, you will be in breach of contract.
We hope the matter can be resolved in a positive manner, but you should be aware of the consequences of not adhering to our contractual stipulations.
Yours sincerely,
Waste Management
Racer wrote:Dream Racing suffering nightmare scenario as Voeckler & AER refuse equipment delivery
Late Indy Lights entrant Dream Racing appear to have fallen short of making the grid at the 11th hour, after Voeckler and AER - responsible for the series' chassis and engine respectively - refused to despatch the team's order of equipment.
The two companies were supposedly unsatisfied with the team's financials to allow a credit line for the equipment to be purchased and sent over to the newcomers, who now have a worrying situation of having two drivers signed, but no equipment to run them with.
Given the close proximity of the season start, and that neither supplier will let their equipment leave the factory until the American team offers sufficient proof of their liquidity, it looks highly likely that Dream will at the very least miss the opening round in Mexico.
If rumours of the team being unable to attract enough investment to begin their season on time, they may well not feature at all until after the Freedom 100, with the lead times from financial approval to equipment delivery taking over a month.

I know, but you didn't withdraw your bid for LeBrocq. This series is centered around the idea that there are no failsafes - I am mot going to forbid anyone from doing anything, but poor choices will lead to bad comsequences!
Re: 2019 Indy Lights - Sign drivers!
Considering the RNG results: we will offer a drive in the remainings races split between Pietro Fittipaldi and Alfonso Celis Jr.

I can't run an RNG as I do not understand the specifics of your request. It is too vague in its current form.

Celis Jr will do the first 5 rounds, Montserrat the 6th one, and Fittipaldi the final 4 rounds. Fittipaldi and Celis Jr must bring how much money they are able to get the funding for the seat from their sponsors.

Would you say Gambino is far too Childish?
