The Online Game Thread

In the past there have been a few threads on here dedicated to online racing in a certain game on a certain platform, which have been largely unsuccessful. The idea behind this thread is to see which games other F1 Rejects members have and on which platform and to set up some casual races in these games (if there is enough interest a series may be set up). Just post which games you play the most online, which console you use and your username on the online service. If you play on a different online platform, or through the servers included within a PC game, feel free to post them here.

I've had an utterly epic idea for a GT5 online session. Basically it's a Top Gear style cheap car challenge, where each entrant has a budget of 15,000 credits (or less, possibly) to purchase a car with. There will be a number of different challenges to test the capabilities of each car, varying from the normal races and time trials, to some slightly more odd challenges (that won't be revealed until the actual session).

If there's enough interest I'm going to try and run this after the qualifying session for the Belgian GP (27th of August).

I've thought of some challenges for the GT5 Top Gear Cheap Car Challenge I mentioned in the previous post. They are:

- Drag race on the Top Gear Test Track
- 5 lap race on a track decided on by a vote in the session.
- 3 lap race on a randomised course maker track
- Best car voted by F1 Rejects members not participating
- a few other challenges that will remain secret until the session.

Feel free to provide your own suggestions as well.

Oh, and before I forget, you can spend the remaining money you have left over from the 15,000 on tuning your car (oil changes don't count towards this).

Is it mandatory to run with steering wheels? Not that you'd need one on ovals anyway.

I'm also a very regular Live for Speed racer, racing in an Australian League every week. If anyone is interested let me know - we have a solid, professional group of racers and the league has been going since 2008, although we have lost a few members recently to iRacing.

Ok. After getting the FGT and bombing around some tracks, I already got the first series planned.

F1RWGTS

Car: Formula GT Only - Unlimited Tuning

Tracks:
Bathurst
Brands Hatch
Nurburgring
Spa
Monaco
Monza
Laguna Seca
Indy Oval

Race lengths and stuff will be figured out down the line. As for when the series would start, I dunno. I'll probably start hosting general racing sessions starting in January so everyone who got the game for Christmas can get some time in the game. But for those who have GT6 now and want the money to get the FGT, here's what you do.

Get the free Mercedes Vision GT Car, then quit the game. (I'm sure you can do this again even if you bought it for a million credits)
Go into the Game Data Utility on the PS3 main screen, and delete the GT6 data. (This wont delete your save, just the patch data.)
Then fire up GT6 again, DO NOT GET THE PATCH.
Go into your garage, and the VGT have become [5328] or something like that.
Sell that, and while it's value is like 300 Million, you'll get 20 million because of the credit cap.
Now quit GT6, fire it up again and download the patch and you got MILLIONS OF DOLLARS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS MILLIONS OF DOLLARS!

Anyways, I was thinking of a support series set on GT5 on the following tracks

Autumn Ring
Top Gear Test Track
Tsukuba
Kart Space I
Eiger Nordwand
Suzuka
Motegi East
London
Rome
Madrid
Tokyo
Cape ring perifery
Monza
Spa
2 course creator tracks.

As for cars, I have done a spreadsheet so how would be the best way putting it on here without having to pm people?

As for race distance, I was hoping for about 30km.
