Yes, it's me again. Finally got the chance to catch up on this series, because I'm ahead of schedule on my summer classes. So, here's the round 5 qualifying results for the Suzuka 1000km!

GT500
1 S. Yamamoto/Y. Tachikawa (ARTA) 1:53.620
2 R. Firman/H. Noda (Advan Racing Team) 1:53.692
3 R. Michigami/A. Iida (Project KivaSport) 1:53.695
4 M. Salo/K. Hirate (Nippon Nagoya) 1:53.731
5 L. Duval/H. Mutoh (Fireball Racing) 1:53.745
6 D. Ito/R. Lyons (Dynamite Racing Team) 1:53.846
7 A. Lotterer/B. Treluyer (Zuken ENEOS IBR) 1:53.848
8 C. Fittipaldi/S. Nakano (Grand Honshu Racing) 1:53.901
9 J. Paulo De Oliverira/T. Tsuchiya (Hayate Auto Garage) 1:53.939
10 O. Beretta/S. Motoyama (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 1:53.986
11 H. Matsushita/J. Courtney (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) 1:54.081
12 J. Dufour/T. Kaneishi (Castrol Racing Team) 1:54.084
13 C. Bouchut/T. Takagi (Denso Pulsar Racing) 1:54.222
14 H. Mitsusada/R. Collard (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 1:54.536

ARTA got the pole position in GT500 for this signature race. Advan will line up 2nd on the grid. Meanwhile, Kivasport continues a somewhat impressive one-lap pace, qualifying 3rd. IBR will start 7th after winning the round at Laguna Seca. Hayate Auto bought massive upgrades in the hope to turn their season around, they qualified 9th.
GT300
1 Y. Ide/T. Matsuda (ARTA) 1:57.991
2 Y. Kunimoto/S. Ara (Fireball Racing) 1:58.438
3 N. Taniguchi/M. Apicella (MMC IBR) 1:58.446
4 N. Hattori/T. Suzuki (Grand Honshu Racing) 1:58.615
5 T. Yamano/H. Kurosawa (Dynamite Racing Team) 1:59.022
6 H. Matsuda/H.P. Tung (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) 1:59.306
7 R. Fukuda/N. Fontana (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 1:59.332
8 T. Scheider/K. Sasaki (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 1:59.474
9 A. Couto/A. Zuber (Nippon Nagoya) 1:59.480
10 H. Yoshimoto/J.M. Gounon (Xanavi Pulsar Racing) 1:59.487

ARTA also got pole for GT300, with fireball racing lining up besides them. IBR qualified 3rd, somewhat impacted by success ballast earned for the win during the last round.

Either way, be prepared for a longer than usual race!

Here's the Suzuka 1000KM race results!

GT500
1 J. Paulo De Oliverira/T. Tsuchiya (Hayate Auto Garage) 5:53:13.411
2 O. Beretta/S. Motoyama (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 5:53:14.471
3 L. Duval/H. Mutoh (Fireball Racing) 5:53:40.858
4 J. Dufour/T. Kaneishi (Castrol Racing Team) 5:54:28.312
C. Bouchut/T. Takagi (Denso Pulsar Racing) DNF lap 158
R. Michigami/A. Iida (Project KivaSport) DNF lap 104
S. Yamamoto/Y. Tachikawa (ARTA) DNF lap 78
A. Lotterer/B. Treluyer (Zuken ENEOS IBR) DNF lap 68
H. Mitsusada/R. Collard (Takagi Racing Enterprises) DNF lap 62
D. Ito/R. Lyons (Dynamite Racing Team) DNF lap 52
R. Firman/H. Noda (Advan Racing Team) DNF lap 27
H. Matsushita/J. Courtney (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) DNF lap 24
C. Fittipaldi/S. Nakano (Grand Honshu Racing) DNF lap 22
M. Salo/K. Hirate (Nippon Nagoya) DNF lap 18

Oh boy, the weather took a massive turn just before the start of the race, everybody had to start on wets and it didn't dry out! As a result, only four cars finished in GT500. Hayate auto garage took a win but barely over Equinox-Lamb. Fireball racing rounds out the podium, and Castrol was 4th and the final one to finish! Denso and Kivasport were 5th and 6th but they didn't finish, so they didn't get any points or success ballast added on. However, due to the events that happened in GT300 and the mere fact that the weather was insame, Denso and Kivasport will get their prize money for trying to finish the race!
GT300
T. Yamano/H. Kurosawa (Dynamite Racing Team) DNF lap 157
N. Hattori/T. Suzuki (Grand Honshu Racing) DNF lap 118
R. Fukuda/N. Fontana (Takagi Racing Enterprises) DNF lap 93
A. Couto/A. Zuber (Nippon Nagoya) DNF lap 81
Y. Ide/T. Matsuda (ARTA) DNF lap 60
N. Taniguchi/M. Apicella (MMC IBR) DNF lap 59
T. Scheider/K. Sasaki (Equinox-Lamb Racing) DNF lap 25
Y. Kunimoto/S. Ara (Fireball Racing) DNF lap 21
H. Yoshimoto/J.M. Gounon (Xanavi Pulsar Racing) DNF lap 20
H. Matsuda/H.P. Tung (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) DNF lap 19

In a massive curveball of events no one in GT300 finished the race. So, the committee has decided to reward the prize money, points and success ballast only to the 3 cars that completed the most amount of laps. Therefore, Dynamite ends up getting the win, Grand Honshu 2nd, and Takagi Racing 3rd.

Yes, just in case you guys didn't notice. The next round at Motegi will now be only 4 hours instead of 8. Due to issues of reliability for the GT300 field at the previous round at Suzuka.

13 J. Paulo De Oliverira/T. Tsuchiya (Hayate Auto Garage) 1:44.449
14 H. Mitsusada/R. Collard (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 1:44.585

Project Kivasport gets its first pole of the season. It was a highly contested session throughout. the spread from the pole to the last placed GT500 car was just under 0.9 seconds.

GT300
1 Y. Ide/T. Matsuda (ARTA) 1:47.959
2 Y. Kunimoto/S. Ara (Fireball Racing) 1:48.405

Oh boy, the weather looks like it's acting up again for the second race in a row despite cutting the race distance by half before hand! With that in mind, here's the round 6 race results from Motegi.

GT500
1 C. Fittipaldi/S. Nakano (Grand Honshu Racing) 3:54:22.117
2 M. Salo/K. Hirate (Nippon Nagoya) 3:55:08.103
3 O. Beretta/S. Motoyama (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 3:55:15.018
4 R. Firman/H. Noda (Advan Racing Team) 3:56:08.336
J. Dufour/T. Kaneishi (Castrol Racing Team) DNF lap 103
L. Duval/H. Mutoh (Fireball Racing) DNF lap 91
H. Matsushita/J. Courtney (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) DNF lap 90
C. Bouchut/T. Takagi (Denso Pulsar Racing) DNF lap 75
H. Mitsusada/R. Collard (Takagi Racing Enterprises) DNF lap 71
S. Yamamoto/Y. Tachikawa (ARTA) DNF lap 48
D. Ito/R. Lyons (Dynamite Racing Team) DNF lap 39
J. Paulo De Oliverira/T. Tsuchiya (Hayate Auto Garage) DNF lap 19
R. Michigami/A. Iida (Project KivaSport) DNF lap 15
A. Lotterer/B. Treluyer (Zuken ENEOS IBR) DNF lap 4

Grand Honshu won the race in the Gt500 class despite monsoon conditions throughout. the race was stopped 5 minutes short due to weather issues. Either way Nippon Nagoya ends up 2nd with Equinox-Lamb rounding out the podium. Advan was the last of the GT500 finishers in 4th. The committee decided to reward the points and prize money to Castrol and FIreball despite not finishing the race. However, since these two teams didn't finish the race, success ballast will NOT be added on.
GT300
T. Scheider/K. Sasaki (Equinox-Lamb Racing) DNF lap 112
A. Couto/A. Zuber (Nippon Nagoya) DNF lap 78
H. Yoshimoto/J.M. Gounon (Xanavi Pulsar Racing) DNF lap 73
Y. Kunimoto/S. Ara (Fireball Racing) DNF lap 52
N. Taniguchi/M. Apicella (MMC IBR) DNF lap 30
H. Matsuda/H.P. Tung (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) DNF lap 23
Y. Ide/T. Matsuda (ARTA) DNF lap 22
N. Hattori/T. Suzuki (Grand Honshu Racing) DNF lap 13
R. Fukuda/N. Fontana (Takagi Racing Enterprises) DNF lap 12
T. Yamano/H. Kurosawa (Dynamite Racing Team) DNF lap 7

For the second race in a row, no GT300 cars finished the whole race distance. As a result the rules committee decided to reward points, success ballast and prize money only to the three cars that finished the most amount of laps. So, Equinox-Lamb gets 1st place, Nippon Nagoya gets 2nd, and Xanavi Pulsar gets 3rd.

Let's hope the weather does cooperate for once at the next race which takes place at Shanghai!

Advan Racing is fairly satisfied with Firman and Noda's collective mediocrity and is moderately pleased with a 4th and last place finish. In fact, we are somewhat hopeful that our Supra will be able to maintain this average-ness through decent reliability and consistent 5th and 6th place finishes, with the intermediately difficult goal of securing a 5th place position in the final standings.

Yeah, sorry about that long delay, I was busy with summer classes. Here's the round 7 qualifying results from Shanghai.

GT500
1 R. Michigami/A. Iida (Project KivaSport) 1:55.824
2 D. Ito/R. Lyons (Dynamite Racing Team) 1:55.827
3 S. Yamamoto/Y. Tachikawa (ARTA) 1:55.838
4 H. Matsushita/J. Courtney (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) 1:55.847
5 R. Firman/H. Noda (Advan Racing Team) 1:55.878
6 L. Duval/H. Mutoh (Fireball Racing) 1:55.890
7 A. Lotterer/B. Treluyer (Zuken ENEOS IBR) 1:55.891
8 C. Fittipaldi/S. Nakano (Grand Honshu Racing) 1:55.975
9 M. Salo/K. Hirate (Nippon Nagoya) 1:56.136
10 C. Bouchut/T. Takagi (Denso Pulsar Racing) 1:56.323
11 J. Dufour/T. Kaneishi (Castrol Racing Team) 1:56.341
12 O. Beretta/S. Motoyama (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 1:56.425
13 J. Paulo De Oliverira/T. Tsuchiya (Hayate Auto Garage) 1:56.453
14 H. Mitsusada/R. Collard (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 1:56.959

Kivasport got a big pole position in GT500 by 0.003 seconds but the question is can they convert it into much needed points and prize money?

GT300
1 Y. Ide/T. Matsuda (ARTA) 1:59.940
2 N. Taniguchi/M. Apicella (MMC IBR) 2:00.463
3 Y. Kunimoto/S. Ara (Fireball Racing) 2:00.496
4 H. Matsuda/H.P. Tung (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) 2:00.787
5 A. Couto/A. Zuber (Nippon Nagoya) 2:01.300
6 N. Hattori/T. Suzuki (Grand Honshu Racing) 2:01.390
7 R. Fukuda/N. Fontana (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 2:01.774
8 T. Scheider/K. Sasaki (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 2:02.028
9 H. Yoshimoto/J.M. Gounon (Xanavi Pulsar Racing) 2:02.053
10 T. Yamano/H. Kurosawa (Dynamite Racing Team) 2:02.359

ARTA once again got the pole for GT300, but the bigger question remains can someone from GT300 finally finish the race. the race itself is 55 laps, so it would be next to impossible for that streak to continue!

So, here's the round 7 race results from Shanghai.

GT500
1 C. Fittipaldi/S. Nakano (Grand Honshu Racing) 1:54:03.739
2 L. Duval/H. Mutoh (Fireball Racing) 1:54:10.892
3 R. Firman/H. Noda (Advan Racing Team) 1:54:22.088
4 S. Yamamoto/Y. Tachikawa (ARTA) 1:54:39.839
5 J. Dufour/T. Kaneishi (Castrol Racing Team) 1:54:52.589
6 D. Ito/R. Lyons (Dynamite Racing Team) 1:54:53.905
7 R. Michigami/A. Iida (Project KivaSport) 1:55:00.342
8 H. Mitsusada/R. Collard (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 1:55:01.602
9 J. Paulo De Oliverira/T. Tsuchiya (Hayate Auto Garage) 1:55:05.363
10 M. Salo/K. Hirate (Nippon Nagoya) 1:55:22.069
H. Matsushita/J. Courtney (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) DNF lap 41
O. Beretta/S. Motoyama (Equinox-Lamb Racing) DNF lap 39
C. Bouchut/T. Takagi (Denso Pulsar Racing) DNF lap 12
A. Lotterer/B. Treluyer (Zuken ENEOS IBR) DNF lap 4

Now this is more like it, 10 cars from GT500 finished this race. Grand Honshu gets the win in GT500, with Fireball and Advan rounding out the podium. Kivasport fails to get much needed points and prize money, they finished 7th.
GT300
1 A. Couto/A. Zuber (Nippon Nagoya) 1:55:37.196
2 N. Hattori/T. Suzuki (Grand Honshu Racing) 1:55:41.837
3 T. Scheider/K. Sasaki (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 1:55:42.308
H. Matsuda/H.P. Tung (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) DNF lap 54
N. Taniguchi/M. Apicella (MMC IBR) DNF lap 42
R. Fukuda/N. Fontana (Takagi Racing Enterprises) DNF lap 31
T. Yamano/H. Kurosawa (Dynamite Racing Team) DNF lap 31
Y. Kunimoto/S. Ara (Fireball Racing) DNF lap 20
Y. Ide/T. Matsuda (ARTA) DNF lap 15
H. Yoshimoto/J.M. Gounon (Xanavi Pulsar Racing) DNF lap 6

Meanwhile, 3 cars did finish the race in GT300. However, the committee has decided to give Prize money but not the points or success ballast to Panasonic TOM'S, MMC and Takagi Racing despite these cars not finishing the race.

Yes, as most of you probably wondered, I don't know what's going on with GT300 cars being so freaking unreliable lately. Before the season started, I actually did in the xml file just for the GT300 cars divided the reliability by 2 instead of 3 in the XML file. The GT500 cars formula for stats remained the same from the DTM series.

Full point on reliability for the GT300, finishing almost automatically means a points or even podium position in GT300.

Yes, I can't believe that the first season of Alternate SUPER GT is heading to the final stretch. So, here's the round 8 qualifying results from Autopolis!

GT500
1 H. Matsushita/J. Courtney (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) 1:41.859
2 A. Lotterer/B. Treluyer (Zuken ENEOS IBR) 1:41.903
3 S. Yamamoto/Y. Tachikawa (ARTA) 1:41.933
4 D. Ito/R. Lyons (Dynamite Racing Team) 1:41.967
5 M. Salo/K. Hirate (Nippon Nagoya) 1:41.992
6 L. Duval/H. Mutoh (Fireball Racing) 1:42.042
7 R. Firman/H. Noda (Advan Racing Team) 1:42.083
8 R. Michigami/A. Iida (Project KivaSport) 1:42.150
9 C. Bouchut/T. Takagi (Denso Pulsar Racing) 1:42.198
10 J. Dufour/T. Kaneishi (Castrol Racing Team) 1:42.273
11 O. Beretta/S. Motoyama (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 1:42.349
12 J. Paulo De Oliverira/T. Tsuchiya (Hayate Auto Garage) 1:42.420
13 H. Mitsusada/R. Collard (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 1:42.553
14 C. Fittipaldi/S. Nakano (Grand Honshu Racing) 1:42.708

Surprise! Panasonic TOM'S racing ended up getting pole position, due to the lack of success ballast on their car so far!
GT300
1 Y. Ide/T. Matsuda (ARTA) 1:46.045
2 Y. Kunimoto/S. Ara (Fireball Racing) 1:46.368
3 N. Taniguchi/M. Apicella (MMC IBR) 1:46.634
4 H. Matsuda/H.P. Tung (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) 1:46.839
5 R. Fukuda/N. Fontana (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 1:47.809
6 N. Hattori/T. Suzuki (Grand Honshu Racing) 1:47.973
7 H. Yoshimoto/J.M. Gounon (Xanavi Pulsar Racing) 1:48.002
8 T. Yamano/H. Kurosawa (Dynamite Racing Team) 1:48.302
9 A. Couto/A. Zuber (Nippon Nagoya) 1:48.499
10 T. Scheider/K. Sasaki (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 1:48.598

Meanwhile, Is it just me or is the ARTA Garaiya really that fast? Anyways, ARTA got another GT300 Pole position!

Yes, It's almost 8:00 PM local time here in Tucson. So, here's the round 8 race results from Autopolis

GT500
1 J. Paulo De Oliverira/T. Tsuchiya (Hayate Auto Garage) 3:17:53.288
2 O. Beretta/S. Motoyama (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 3:17:55.719
3 J. Dufour/T. Kaneishi (Castrol Racing Team) 3:18:01.187
4 R. Firman/H. Noda (Advan Racing Team) 3:18:04.347
5 M. Salo/K. Hirate (Nippon Nagoya) 3:18:11.551
6 H. Mitsusada/R. Collard (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 3:18:19.476
7 H. Matsushita/J. Courtney (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) 3:18:40.573
8 D. Ito/R. Lyons (Dynamite Racing Team) −1 lap
L. Duval/H. Mutoh (Fireball Racing) DNF lap 97
A. Lotterer/B. Treluyer (Zuken ENEOS IBR) DNF lap 72
C. Bouchut/T. Takagi (Denso Pulsar Racing) DNF lap 64
C. Fittipaldi/S. Nakano (Grand Honshu Racing) DNF lap 54
S. Yamamoto/Y. Tachikawa (ARTA) DNF lap 32
R. Michigami/A. Iida (Project KivaSport) DNF lap 19

I guess Nissan are not giving up yet, Hayate Auto Garage got the GT500 race win, with Equniox-Lamb and Castrol rounding out the GT500 podium. But for KivaSport, they failed to finish, again! Panasonic TOM'S failed to get any points from Pole position.
GT300
1 A. Couto/A. Zuber (Nippon Nagoya) 3:20:21.147
2 R. Fukuda/N. Fontana (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 3:20:22.703
N. Taniguchi/M. Apicella (MMC IBR) DNF lap 73
Y. Kunimoto/S. Ara (Fireball Racing) DNF lap 71
H. Yoshimoto/J.M. Gounon (Xanavi Pulsar Racing) DNF lap 52
N. Hattori/T. Suzuki (Grand Honshu Racing) DNF lap 24
Y. Ide/T. Matsuda (ARTA) DNF lap 19
T. Yamano/H. Kurosawa (Dynamite Racing Team) DNF lap 11
H. Matsuda/H.P. Tung (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) DNF lap 10
T. Scheider/K. Sasaki (Equinox-Lamb Racing) DNF lap 3

Yawn, two cars from GT300 finished the race. So the rules committee decided to reward points and success ballast only to Nippon Nagoya, TRE and MMC despite MMC not finishing the race. Finally Prize money will be awarded to the top 6 GT300 cars. Ironically, five GT300 cars retired from the race within the first quarter of the race with these damn tire issues!

0.5 point on acceleration then. I'm certainly going to offer both drivers a 2006 contract.

Zuken ENEOS IBR and MMC IBR will spend absolutely everything they've got on reliability.

So, after much debate with myself. I will make some changes for 2006 regarding GT300. Here are the proposed changes

GT300 points system will be 6-3-1, due to the massive reliability issues

the GT300 success ballast will be changed to .05(X) when X is the number of points.

GT300 prize money will be awarded to the top 4 in the race standings, regardless of whatever they finish the race or not.

GT300 prize money for 2006 will be awarded as follows:

1st: 3 million yen
2nd: 2 million yen
3rd: 1 million yen
4th: 0.5 million yen

For the time being, the GT500 points, success ballast and prize money will NOT change for 2006.

"Alternatively, look for a way to alter the car performance formula to make them more reliable"

How about this proposal for next season.

The prize money, points and success ballast will not change for both classes.

However, to make the cars more reliable for 2006 onwards. I will change the car reliability for the GT500 cars to be divided by 2. In effect, it will be the same as the acceleration and cornering stats.

For GT300, since the reliability stat is capped at 6 as of right now. I decided for GT300, reliability will not be divided by half, essentially reliability for 2006 onwards will be (Both drivers salaries/3) + car stat in reliability

Hopefully, this change means more cars will finish the races next season!

Well, I did change the GT300 reliability calculations for the last two rounds of this season, which is earlier than I was expecting it. But for GT500, no changes will be made until the end of this season. So, with that news in mind, let's get to the Round 9 Qualifying results from Infineon.

GT500
1 R. Michigami/A. Iida (Project KivaSport) 1:48.693
2 H. Matsushita/J. Courtney (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) 1:48.821
3 D. Ito/R. Lyons (Dynamite Racing Team) 1:48.841
4 S. Yamamoto/Y. Tachikawa (ARTA) 1:49.018
5 A. Lotterer/B. Treluyer (Zuken ENEOS IBR) 1:49.084
6 R. Firman/H. Noda (Advan Racing Team) 1:49.241
7 L. Duval/H. Mutoh (Fireball Racing) 1:49.263
8 J. Dufour/T. Kaneishi (Castrol Racing Team) 1:49.316
9 C. Bouchut/T. Takagi (Denso Pulsar Racing) 1:49.346
10 C. Fittipaldi/S. Nakano (Grand Honshu Racing) 1:49.366
11 M. Salo/K. Hirate (Nippon Nagoya) 1:49.448
12 O. Beretta/S. Motoyama (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 1:49.732
13 H. Mitsusada/R. Collard (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 1:49.753
14 J. Paulo De Oliverira/T. Tsuchiya (Hayate Auto Garage) 1:50.082

GT300
1 Y. Ide/T. Matsuda (ARTA) 1:53.005
2 Y. Kunimoto/S. Ara (Fireball Racing) 1:53.586
3 H. Matsuda/H.P. Tung (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) 1:53.912
4 N. Taniguchi/M. Apicella (MMC IBR) 1:53.982
5 N. Hattori/T. Suzuki (Grand Honshu Racing) 1:54.343
6 H. Yoshimoto/J.M. Gounon (Xanavi Pulsar Racing) 1:55.065
7 T. Yamano/H. Kurosawa (Dynamite Racing Team) 1:55.349
8 T. Scheider/K. Sasaki (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 1:55.513
9 R. Fukuda/N. Fontana (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 1:55.555
10 A. Couto/A. Zuber (Nippon Nagoya) 1:56.976

I am hoping that more GT300 cars will finish the last two races with the new reliability calculations in place.

O. Beretta/S. Motoyama (Equinox-Lamb Racing) DNF lap 2

Castrol Racing team finally got a win, with Grand Honshu and TRE rounding out the GT500 podium. Fireball, Zuken IBR and Advan got much needed points.
GT300

N. Hattori/T. Suzuki (Grand Honshu Racing) DNF lap 13

With the final round coming up anytime soon. Let's take a look at who's still alive for GT500 and GT300.

GT500

Grand Honshu has a 3 point lead right now over Castrol Racing. Hayate Auto and Fireball racing is tied for 3rd with 24 and ARTA and equinox-lamb are tied for 5th with 23. So, any of these six teams can win the title. It will be a shocker if the Nissan of Hayate Auto can pull this one off! But more likely than not, it will be won by a NSX.

GT300

Nippon Nagoya has a 7 point lead right now over Equinox-Lamb. Third place Dynamite racing team still has a chance of winning it, but they are 9 points behind and need a lot of luck to win it. Essentially, if equinox-lamb wins this final race, Nippon Nagoya needs to finish 3rd or better to win the title.

Sweet!

0.5 for the 10.5 stats please (I forgot the exact name of them: cornering and acceleration maybe?), and even with that, I'll have enough money for the 2006 contracts.

Well, we're going for it!

2 for speed, 1 for reliability and 0,5 for the third one(cornering?)

Well, we reached the final round at Fuji, but first we must qualify. here are the qualifying results

GT500
1 R. Michigami/A. Iida (Project KivaSport) 1:45.695
2 H. Matsushita/J. Courtney (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) 1:45.825
3 D. Ito/R. Lyons (Dynamite Racing Team) 1:45.830
4 A. Lotterer/B. Treluyer (Zuken ENEOS IBR) 1:45.889
5 S. Yamamoto/Y. Tachikawa (ARTA) 1:45.984
6 M. Salo/K. Hirate (Nippon Nagoya) 1:46.059
7 C. Bouchut/T. Takagi (Denso Pulsar Racing) 1:46.184
8 L. Duval/H. Mutoh (Fireball Racing) 1:46.192
9 J. Paulo De Oliverira/T. Tsuchiya (Hayate Auto Garage) 1:46.206
10 R. Firman/H. Noda (Advan Racing Team) 1:46.301
11 C. Fittipaldi/S. Nakano (Grand Honshu Racing) 1:46.555
12 O. Beretta/S. Motoyama (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 1:46.687
13 J. Dufour/T. Kaneishi (Castrol Racing Team) 1:46.771
14 H. Mitsusada/R. Collard (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 1:46.891

Kivasport got pole position again, but as a note to all of the teams in both GT500 and GT300, after this race is finished, if your team has less than 1 million yen, then you can't compete in 2006 due to the no pay-driver rule.
GT300
1 Y. Ide/T. Matsuda (ARTA) 1:49.922
2 H. Matsuda/H.P. Tung (Panasonic TOM'S Racing) 1:51.018
3 N. Hattori/T. Suzuki (Grand Honshu Racing) 1:51.269
4 N. Taniguchi/M. Apicella (MMC IBR) 1:51.605
5 Y. Kunimoto/S. Ara (Fireball Racing) 1:51.720
6 T. Yamano/H. Kurosawa (Dynamite Racing Team) 1:52.245
7 H. Yoshimoto/J.M. Gounon (Xanavi Pulsar Racing) 1:52.525
8 R. Fukuda/N. Fontana (Takagi Racing Enterprises) 1:52.605
9 T. Scheider/K. Sasaki (Equinox-Lamb Racing) 1:52.774
10 A. Couto/A. Zuber (Nippon Nagoya) 1:53.991

Even though ARTA is out of the title chase for GT300, they might play a spoiler here.
