Vettel - 5 Let down by the lead Red Bull in quali, good race, but shouldn't have pushed Alonso off half way round Curva Grande.
Webber - 2 Just poor.

Button - 9 Great performance again from Button, car problems out of his control. Would have held Perez off to finish 2nd though.
Hamilton - 10 Faultless all weekend, and no whigning for a change.

Alonso - 10 Car problems let him down in quali, but a great drive to the podium. Had the balls to stick it out on the grass
Massa - 9 Showing the pace we haven't seen since Germany 2010. Still, if Ferrari don't sign Perez they're idiots.

Schumacher - 8 Good quali and race from Shoemaker, the Mercedes looked to have some sort of pace today.
Rosberg - 7 Couldn't get as much from the car as Schumi

Raikkonen - 8 Wasn't great, but wasn't poor either.
D'Ambrosio - 4 Custard, however, was shite. But, it was his first time back in an F1 race for half a year.

Di Resta - 8 Outpaced the Hul for the first time in ages.
Hülkenberg - 5 Quali beyond his control, but didn't have the pace in the race.

Kobayashi - 6 Was no where compared to Perez
Perez - 10 Waht a race. What a guy.

Ricciardo - 5 Didn't catch him crash off at the end, but he was generally crap anyway.
Vergne - 4 Must have taken far too much kerb somewhere to damage the left rear suspension after so few laps.

Maldonado - 6 Didn't qualify as well as he has done, nowhere in the race. Bonus point for not crashing
Senna - 7 Had pace today.

Kovalainen - 7 A much better weekend for Kovy, bonus point for being faster than Custard at one point in Q1.
Petrov - 6 Didn't draw attention to himself

De La Rosa - 5 Was out qualified by Karthikeyan. Should be ashamed.
Karthikeyan - 5 Bonus point for outqualifying DLR.

Glock - 5 Anonymous, but faultless
Pic - 5 Picked a good race to be anonymous

Teams:

Red Bull - 1 Poor performance all round.
McLaren - 10 Didn't set a foot wrong all weekend
Ferrari - 8 Great race in front of tifosi
Mercedes - 7 Weren't shite for once
Lotus - 7 Average weekend for Toleman/Benetton/Renault/Fake Lotus/ Whatever
Force India - 7 Good pace for Di Resta
Sauber - 9 Great race from Perez, unfortunately Kobayashi couldn't do the same
Toro Rosso - 1 Shite
Caterham - 5 Decent weekend
Marrussia - 4 Minus 1 point for not being on TV.
HRT - 4 Normal HRT

Red Bull: 2: Caught with their pants down with the alternator failure; that should have been fixed long ago.
Vettel: 5: Call it Ferrari favoritism but I think that penalty was justified. You simply don't do that. Otherwise was not much of a factor during the race.
Webber: 3: Went backwards more than forwards, and ended his day with a Karthikeyan-esque spin.

McLaren: 7: Yes Hamilton won but Button DNF'd. But then again, that's racing.
Button: 7: Was quick but the car let him down.
Hamilton: 10: Was in clear command the whole race.

Ferrari: 8: The most consistent team today. Had tremendous pace.
Alonso: 8: Attention Webber; when you start in 10th it is possible to make up ground. Surprising, I know.
Massa: 7: All things considered he did well.

Mercedes: 7: Good effort today but didn't have enough speed to push towards the front.
Schumacher: 7: Didn't retire for once, and was pretty racy throughout the full day. Good job.
Rosberg: 7: See above

Lotus/Renault: 5: While Raikkonen was slogging his way through to pick up points, D'Ambrosio was...nowhere.
Raikkonen: 7: Had some decent battles but nothing really stuck out in my mind, unlike Spa.
D'Ambrosio: 4: Proof that the car does not make the racer. Was absolutely nowhere.

Force India: 6: The cars were quick but they were the victim of gearboxes (with di Resta having to change his and with Hulkenberg starting in the back but ultimately DNFing).
Di Resta: 5: Should have gotten a penalty for the incident with Senna.
Hülkenberg: 6: Was making up ground until his car gave out.

Sauber: 7: It is clear that Perez has pace...but what about Kobayashi? He can be quick but so far hasn't capitalized on anything thus far.
Kobayashi: 5: Outshone by Perez. Again. Where is the Kobayashi from 2010?
Perez: 9: Well THIS was unexpected. Great result from him. Massa definitely should be worried...

Toro Rosso: 3: Yeah, nah. Where are Alguersuari and Buemi?
Ricciardo: 4: So apparently he failed to make the final point? I didn't catch that, but that seems a bit rejectful.
Vergne: 5: Well his suspension did give out; can't do anything about that when it happens.

Williams: 6: Good pace for the midfield but Force India was quicker today.
Maldonado: 6: Actually didn't cause any problems today! Sometimes being anonymous is a good thing.
Senna: 7: Was the target of many drivers today, but held on.

Caterham: 4: Didn't they say they were going to get a point this year?
Kovalainen: 4: Anonymous as ever.
Petrov: 4: Wait, he still races in F1?

HRT: 5: Ultimately beat by the Marussias but both cars finished.
De La Rosa: 7: Decent race for HRT; got some screen time.
Karthikeyan: 6: Didn't retire in an awkward fashion for once.

Marussia: 6: Beat the HRTs.
Glock: 6: Finished ahead of the HRTs.
Pic: 7: Finished ahead of the HRTs...and Glock!

May I suggest that we have an option to rate the team's performance as a whole as well? IMHO it'd be a good feature to add.

In general, I don't want to make big mid-season changes, but feel free to do that in your comments. If it turns out to be a popular idea, the team's result will be counted, as well, although it is too late to look at the whole season based on those.

Sebastian Vettel
Q: 8.5 | R: 8 | Average: 8.25->8 | F1R: 8
That push was silly (if you're gonna force Alonso into making a mistake of that caliber, don't do it on Ferrari's home turf), but not his fault. And neither was the retirement. He was beating Webber prior to that, even with the penalty.

Mark Webber
Q: 6.5 | R: 6 | Average: 6.25->6 | F1R: 6
The car was poor and the retirement wasn't his fault, but Vettel was beating him prior to that so I can't really excuse him much.

Jenson Button
Q: 9 | R: 8 | Average: 8.5->9 | F1R: 9
Front row is always good. Retirement wasn't his fault and he was catching Lewis in the second stint. Kinda feel sorry for him.

Lewis Hamilton
Q: 9.5 | R: 9.5 | Average: 9.5->10 | F1R: 10
Started to drop off in the second stint but nonetheless, a winning drive is a winning drive.

Fernando Alonso
Q: 9.5 | R: 9 | Average: 9.25->9 | F1R: 10
Was doing exceptionally well before Q3 so I can't take much away from him, and he smashed Felipe before getting smashed himself by Perez through no fault of his own. Definitely a worthy championship contender, but having a good car that didn't actually fail on him was quite helpful this weekend. And before you ask about the rating, I'm not biased. Even though I'm a tifosi I really want him to lose and I strongly believe that he doesn't deserve to lead the championship, much less win it. However, he was phenomenal in qualifying prior to the rear anti-roll bar failure and he did what he could on race day with a disappointing car. Driver of the Weekend

Felipe Massa
Q: 10 | R: 5 | Average: 7.5->8 | F1R: 7
Matched Fernando's Q1 and Q2 times without a tow. The race, however, was an entirely different matter - aside from Kobayashi, d'Ambrosio and the backmarkers he was the slowest in S1 by .2-.3 on average, which is unforgivable. I think he may have just lost his job today.

Michael Schumacher
Q: 8.5 | R: 7 | Average: 7.75->8 | F1R: 7
Considering his DRS and KERS failures in the practice sessions, P4 was an excellent position to start in. He was, however, demolished by Perez and just beaten to the line by Raikkonen.

Nico Rosberg
Q: 8 | R: 7 | Average: 7.5->8 | F1R: 7
Could've maybe done better in Q3. Kept up with Schumacher in the race.

Kimi Raikkonen
Q: 8 | R: 9.5 | Average: 8.75->9 | F1R: 9
That Lotus just doesn't have any qualifying pace. Pipped Schuey to the line, made those tyres last for an absurd amount of time, almost beat Felipe too.

Jerome d'Ambrosio
Q: 4 | R: 6 | Average: 5 | F1R: 5
Nowhere in qualifying, nowhere in the race. However, since he had a KERS failure, I can't exactly give him the title of worst driver.

Paul di Resta
Q: 10 | R: 6.5 | Average: 8.25->8 | F1R: 7
These stupid gearbox penalties need to go away. Wasn't really "on it" in the race.

Nico Hulkenberg
Q: N/A | R: 8 | Average: 8 | F1R: 7
Extremely unfortunate weekend for him. Seemed to have more pace than Paul.

Kamui Kobayashi
Q: 8 | R: 3 | Average: 5.5->6 | F1R: 5
Where was he in the race? d'Ambrosio's KERS failure means that Kamui genuinely has no excuse anymore. Sauber had the best car on race day, he should've done better. Worst Driver

Sergio Perez
Q: 6 | R: 9 | Average: 7.5->8 | F1R: 9
Strongly overrated drive. Alonso was right when he said that Sauber have the best car. I also can't help but wonder if missing Q3 gives you too large of an advantage. Yes, advantage, not disadvantage. Vettel in China, Raikkonen in Bahrain, Alonso in Europe and so on. It's getting troublesome and I'll be damned if it doesn't dampen my actual viewing experience, much more so than the DRS (which I find perfectly fine when it's tuned well, and that wasn't the case today as it seemed way too strong) or the tyres.

Daniel Ricciardo
Q: 7.5 | R: 7 | Average: 7.25->7 | F1R: 7
Put up a good fight until "that" happened. Was beating Senna and Maldonado on merit.

Jean-Eric Vergne
Q: 7 | R: N/A | Average: 7 | F1R: 7
Unfortunate with that car failure. Was keeping up with Daniel prior to that.

Pastor Maldonado
Q: 7 | R: 6.5 | Average: 6.75->7 | F1R: 7
Could've qualified better. Only .5s behind Senna at the line and he kept himself out of trouble, but Ricciardo should've beaten him.

Bruno Senna
Q: 6 | R: 5 | Average: 5.5->6 | F1R: 5
Did not deserve to finish in the points, even with Di Resta's shunt. Almost beaten by Maldonado, should've been beaten by Ricciardo.

Heikki Kovalainen
Q: 7.5 | R: 6.5 | Average: 7 | F1R: 7
Somewhat better this time around. Only just pipped Petrov to the line (.1s).

Vitaly Petrov
Q: 6 | R: 6.5 | Average: 6.25->6 | F1R: 6
Almost caught Kovalainen at the end despite a poor quali session.

Pedro de la Rosa
Q: 5 | R: 7.5 | Average: 6.25->6 | F1R: 6
Beaten by Karthikeyan in quali, but made up for it in the race by being only 12 seconds behind Glock at the end.

Narain Karthikeyan
Q: 8 | R: 5 | Average: 6.5->7 | F1R: 6
First time he's outqualified his teammate since China 2005. The race, however, was an entirely different matter, as he ended over 14 seconds behind Pedro.

Timo Glock
Q: 7 | R: 4 | Average: 5.5->6 | F1R: 5
Close to matching Petrov in qualifying, blown to bits by Pic in the race. 27.3s? Seriously?

Charles Pic
Q: 7 | R: 7 | Average: 7 | F1R: 7
Destroyed Timo this time around.

Vettel - 7.5 - Miles better than Webber and was unlucky with poor strategy, bad stewards decisions and a faulty car. And I don't even like him.
Webber - 4 - There are days like today where he almost wants to be pootling about quietly in midfield causing no bother to anyone

Button - 7 - Retook 2nd position and was looking on for 2nd or 3rd, then the car bust on him
Hamilton - 10 - Faultless.

Alonso - 7.5 - Supremely lucky once again for rivals to fall off the road, but loses a smidge for his foolish attempt to pass Vettel and his attitude about it afterwards
Massa - 8 - Better than Alonso today but obviously still not ahead of him

Schumacher - 7.5 - Solid enough drive
Rosberg - 7 - Weaker than Schumacher all weekend but a strong last few laps

Raikkonen - 7- Better than D'Ambrosio by a mile, of course, but couldn't do much with the mediocrity underneath him, and the average strategy landing him in traffic
D'Ambrosio - 5.5 - Did okay considering, but rather anonymous, and didn't do anything to write home about.

Di Resta - 5.5 - Poor start and didn't quite look capable of challenging the top 4 teams
Hülkenberg - 5 - A disappointing weekend after looking quick

Kobayashi - 5- Thrashed by his teammate, and his race strategy has been so poor at times this year
Perez - 9.5 - Astonishing racing, another moment in F1 history where you see a new driver in the zone, standing out above anyone else.

Ricciardo- 7- Argh, a racey drive until he lost the points on the last lap. What happened?!
Vergne- 5- Unlucky suspension failure

Maldonado- 6 - Didn't do all that much and still almost caught up with Senna
Senna - 5- Had a few combative moments and had pace, but the middle of the race his pace evaporated

Kovalainen- 4 - An unspectacular day and poor backmarker driving
Petrov- 4- Likewise

De La Rosa - 6 - More HRT screen-time this weekend and finished only a lap down
Karthikeyan - 6 - An improved weekend for Narain

Glock - 5
Pic - 5 -Some poor backmarker driving today

Vettel - 7 Good race, on course for a possible podium before his retirement. Loses a point for pushing Fernando off the track.
Webber - 7 I don't see how Webber did anything too shameful. He was going for solid points before his spin, which also docks a point from his rating.

Button - 9 Brilliant drive, just below Lewis.
Hamilton - 10 Flawless victory.

Alonso - 10 Superb driving from tenth place, recovered from Vettel's push, which, in the end, didn't "destroy his race" as he thought.
Massa - 8 Considering his performance this year, a good drive by Felipe, which could have put him on the podium in other circumstances.

Schumacher - 7 Nice drive by Schumi for some more solid points.
Rosberg - 7 Fell back early on, but recovered nicely.

Raikkonen - 8 Another solid finish in a race where his car wasn't the best to drive.
D'Ambrosio - 5 The expectations in the PP thread were mainly wishful thinking. Finished the race on the lead lap on his first race in ten months.

Di Resta - 7 Good race, docked one point for his incident with Senna.
Hülkenberg - 9 Impressive drive from last place, should have scored points.

Kobayashi - 6 Not impressive, but points nonetheless.
Perez - 10 I'm starting to run out of adjectives to describe this guy.

Ricciardo - 6 A decent drive, docked one point for his brain fade at the final corner.
Vergne - 5 Whether the spin was his fault or not, meh.

Maldonado - 6 Solid drive to finish just outside the points, stayed out of trouble.
Senna - 7 A good job to score points, solid race overall.

Kovalainen - 7 Closer to the midpack.
Petrov - 7 See Kovalainen

De La Rosa - 7 Eventually passed Karthikeyan, ended not far behind Glock.
Karthikeyan - 6 Couldn't stay ahead of his team mate, but did a respectable job anyway.

Glock - 5 Truly outclassed by Pic.
Pic - 7 Took his team mate out of the picture.

Vettel - 7 - He was OK, barely noticed him apart from his retirement and duel with Alonso
Webber - 4 - That spin was rather amateurish, wasn't it?

Button - 8 - Looked good until his car gave up on him. A big blow to title aspirations.
Hamilton - 10 - Peerless all weekend. Apart from the last 10 laps.

Alonso - 9 - Very feisty in the race, pulled some good moves as he grabbed himself a podium space.
Massa - 8 - Did end up dropping back, if the race was 5 laps longer he'd have been cannon fodder for Schumacher and Raikkonen.

Schumacher - 8 - Actually looked rather good, Merc might have had more pace though.
Rosberg - 7 - Was on for anonymity again until he timed his sprint to the finish just right.

Raikkonen - 8 - Did well considering the Lotus was not as well suited to Monza.
D'Ambrosio - 6 - Considering it's his first race run in that car he did rather well. Didn't bin it, and had to nurse a KERS issue.

Di Resta - 6 - Solid if unspectacular.
Hülkenberg - 7 - Unlucky. Had risen to 12th before retiring, and may have even managed points.

Kobayashi - 6 - Sauber's 'economy' runs just don't suit the guy.
Perez - 10 - However, they do play to this man's strengths.

Ricciardo - 5 - Wasn't particularly streetwise...
Vergne - 4 - Was that spin his fault? I don't know...

Maldonado - 6 - Low grid position probably neutered him in the race. Didn't cause trouble, though.
Senna - 6 - Might have lucked into the last point there...

Kovalainen - 4 - Didn't hear from him at all.
Petrov - 4 - Ditto.

De La Rosa - 5 - Eventually got the better of his teammate...
Karthikeyan - 5 - Managed to outqualify his teammate, but couldn't retain the place

Glock - 4 - Apparently his race was compromised on lap one...I'll take Marussia's word for it.
Pic - 4 - Didn't notice him...

Firstly, for all those slamming Daniel Ricciardo for 'stuffing it up' and losing his 10th place on the last corner, I think that's a bit harsh... Apparently it wasn't his fault, Toro Rosso have stated it was a fuel pick up problem... Incredibly frustrating for him I'm sure (after what was otherwise a quite decent race from him)!

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/102402

"It's been so hard to score points this year and that means it is incredibly disappointing not to get one today," said Ricciardo.

"I was 10th until the last corner on the very last lap.

"At that point, I accelerated to exit Parabolica and nothing happened.

"At the moment, I don't know the cause, but to miss out on a point by a few hundred metres is bitterly disappointing."

Team boss Franz Tost said Ricciardo's car had failed to pick up its remaining fuel.

Anyway for my Ratings...

Vettel 8 (penalty too harsh I think, plus unlucky with alternator)
Webber 5 (unfortunately not his greatest driving)

Button 8 (feel sorry for him having to stop like that!)
Hamilton 10

Alonso 7 (winged about Vettel, and robbed Massa of his deserving podium)
Massa 9 (very happy to see him put in a solid performance like this, wish he could have defied Ferrari team orders)

Schumacher 7
Rosberg 7

Räikkönen 8
D'Ambrosio 5

Di Resta 8
Hülkenberg 7

Kobayashi 6
Pérez 10 (fantastic drive, really knows how to work those tires and one-stops)

Ricciardo 7 (as mentioned above, unlucky to have mechanical problems rob him of his much needed point on final corner)
Vergne 5 (ran well until his spin/wheelie/tumble)

Maldonado 7 (stayed outta trouble pretty much... hurray!)
Senna 7

Kovalainen 8
Petrov 7 (as a team some of their best results, obviously due to attrition of front runners, but still good results)

De la Rosa 7
Karthikeyan 7 (again as a team did very well, cars ran well by HRT standards)

Glock 7
Pic 7

Vettel - 6
Webber - 3 (honestly he's been useless since Silverstone)

Button - 9
Hamilton - 10

Alonso - 8
Massa - 8

Schumacher - 8
Rosberg - 7

Raikkonen - 8
D'Ambrosio - 5 (I want to give him the benefit of the doubt with rustiness and car problems)

Di Resta - 9
Hulkenberg - 6

Kobayashi - 4 - Dead beat teammate of the race
Perez - 10 - wow where did that come from???

Ricciardo - 8, feel sorry for him on the last lap
Vergne - 4 - what on earth was that?

Maldonado - 8, bonus points for not hitting anyone
Senna - 8

Hardly saw any of the other 3 teams so I'll give them all 5.

Vettel - 6: Drove well, but loses points for forcing Alonso off, regardless of whether he knew he was there or not.
Webber - 4: Underwhelming. I don't blame him for spinning, and he did a good job to save the car, but that doesn't excuse his lack of pace.

Button - 8: Poor getaway comprimised his race, but was still on for at least 3rd when he retired.
Hamilton - 10: Controlled the race as perfectly as Button did last week. The onus is firmly on him now to close the gap to Alonso.

Alonso - 9: Another superb damage limitation drive today. Hamilton taking 10 points out of his lead was the only downside, but he now has a race win in hand again.
Massa - 10: Best drive he's done since Germany 2010.

Schumacher - 8: Did about as well as the car would allow
Rosberg - 4: Still behind Schumacher, and it's getting really annoying because he has the pace to be faster.

Raikkonen - 7: Solid but unspectactular.
D'Ambrosio - 5: Hard to expect more when your KERS fails.

Di Resta - 7: Fairly anonymous in the race, but my god was that one hell of a lap in Q3
Hülkenberg - 5: Didn't see him.

Kobayashi - 6: Hamstrung by a poor strategy. When will Sauber realise that Kamui is an attacking driver and needs to be put on aggressive strategies?
Perez - 10: Drove imperiously, that Ferrari seat has to be his now.

Ricciardo - 8: Should've scored a point if it wasn't for his car.
Vergne - 5: Don't know if it was his fault or a car failure that caused him to retire, but he was fairly unimpressive up to then anyway.

Maldonado - 8: He didn't score, but he didn't hit anything for once either.
Senna - 8: Just held his teammate off for 10th, but started well ahead in the first place...

Didn't see any of the new teams, so I can't really comment on anything, other than Pic beat Glock.

Kovalainen - 5
Petrov - 5

De La Rosa - 5
Karthikeyan - 5

Glock - 4
Pic - 6

Vettel - 6: In a relatively poor car, was doing his best to salvage the weekend. Loses points because of the penalty. Couldn't do a thing about the DNF.
Webber - 4: Absolutely anonymous.

Button - 8: Good qualy, had a relatively comfortable P2 until his mechanical failure. Could have been threatened by pérez at the end though.
Hamilton - 9: Pole to win, perfect race. Not giving him a 10 because of the question mark in qualifying- we never saw that Q3 challenge from Alonso.

Alonso - 8: Before Q3, a third place finish seemed a poor result. By the end of today's race, it's a wonderful one.
Massa - 6: Keeping a "virtual" P3 from beggining to end isn't that awesome but, looking at his previous performances, it is. Kinda sad when you look at it though.

Schumacher - 5: That car is crap, but today it didn't stink that badly. Nice strategy at the end. Loses points because of his drop from 4th to 6th.
Rosberg - 6: Same as Michael.

Raikkonen - 7: You have to wonder how he has managed to be one point off P2 in the WDC- it's thanks to races like this. Nothing mind-blowing but consistently good. Had he won any races, he's be side to side with Alonso, who is basically doing the same, except better. Also cool overtakes here and there.
D'Ambrosio - 6: Considering the circumstances, it was an acceptable performance.

Di Resta - 4: Going backwards.
Hülkenberg - N/A: Just horrible luck all over. A weekend to forget.

Kobayashi - 5: Invisible, but at least scored points.
Perez - 10: Wonderful strategy. Could have won, had the race been 4 laps longer. Man of the race.

Ricciardo - 5: Was in the points until the Red Bull curse fell upon him.
Vergne - 2: The hell was that.

Maldonado - 5: Moved up 11 places and didn't cause any catastrophe. By his books, not bad.
Senna - 7: Poor dude was the chewing toy of everyone around. And yet he managed to get one point.

Kovalainen - 6: The best of the rest
Petrov - 5: The usual.

De La Rosa - 5: Bad start but managed to beat Karthi as usual.
Karthikeyan - 4: Oh well...

Glock - 4: Had an accident at the start and could only beat the HRT's.
Pic - 5: Beat his teammate

Vettel - 5 - Stupid move, utterly justified penalty, and the car eventually went bang. Not his best afternoon.
Webber - 3 - Dear me...

Button - 9 - Good run until the car let him down.
Hamilton - 10 - In control the entire weekend

Alonso - 8 - Made up for qualifying with another good drive
Massa - 9 - Best weekend for a long, long time. Too little, too late though?

Schumacher - 7 - Decent run until the Merc ate its tyres yet again.
Rosberg - 5 - Anonymous again

Raikkonen - 7 - Quiet, but still piling up the points. The dark horse for the championship
Custard - 4 - Poor qualifying, and the KERS failed.

Di Resta - 6 - Screwed over by the draconian penalties for gearbox changes. :evil:
Hulkenberg - 6 - Ditto. :evil:

Kobayashi - 7 - Did as well as he could despite being hamstrung by his strategy.
Perez - 10 - Yeah, he's probably just secured a top drive for 2013 with this.

Riccardo - 7 - Unlucky to have the car bathplug him over on the last corner of the race.
Vergne - 4 - Nowhere

Maldonado - 8 - A quiet, controversy-free weekend for the Reverend, which is what he needed desperately.
Senna - 6 - Scored a point, but he really should have been further up the road from his team mate than he actually was...

Kovalainen - 6 - Quiet
Petrov - 6 - Ditto

De La Rosa - 5 - Standard
Karthikeyan - 4 - More competant than usual

Glock - 5 - Meh, as per the norm
Pic - 6 - Beat his team mate yet again

I haven't noticed equal scores before (at least, not this many). How do you differentiate positions between equal scores? Car numbers? And have there been so many equal ratings in one round before?

I was about to say Championship position probably. But Vettel is ahead of Rosberg. And how dare you miss out the epic pairing of HRT and Caterham :lol:

Rules when 2 or more drivers have the same points:
1. a reject driver always beats a non-reject one
2. between drivers with the same status, the actual race results decide - in this case:
Hamilton 1st - Perez 2nd
Alonso 3rd - Button DNF
Rosberg 7th - Vettel 22nd/DNF
Petrov 15th - Karthikeyan 19th

It is quite unusual to have this many ties in one round, but there was at least one in most of the rounds if not in all of them.

As I wasn't to do team orders :lol: originally, there was no deciding policy there before. I placed Ferrari ahead of Sauber as they scored more points in Monza and Caterham ahead of HRT because they had higher best finish.

Literally just watched the Italian and Belgium GPs back to back. So here are my votes even if I am late to the party....

Vettel - 6 - Should have let alonso through, he knew that it was sooner rather then later.
Webber - 2 - A lot of the time I wondered if he was still in the race. FIA should have forced Red Bull to change the tyres and make Webber run the last lap.

Button - 8 - Did well but was oershadowed by Hamilton all race, unlucky to retire.
Hamilton - 10 - Sublime drive again.

Alonso - 9 - Shouyld have been challenging Hamilton but for a mechanical failure in qualifying.
Massa - 6 - Was 4th but Alonso was still over shadowing him.

Schumacher - 8 - Tyres did cost him what would have been a decent near podium finish but great run.
Rosberg - 6 - Was fast when it suited him.

Raikkonen - 7 - Quiet, but still grabbing points.
D'Ambrosio - 4 - Hey Fernando, mummy says KERS is bad and I should not use it in polite conversation.

Di Resta - 3 - Did not have the greatest of races.
Hulkenberg - 5 - Was fairly average.

Kobayashi - 8 - Did as well as he could have done due to his strategy and worn top ten qualifying tyres.
Perez - 10 - Brilliant drive.

Riccardo - 7 - Reject worthy car as it failed on the last corner.
Vergne - 3 - Was he in the race?

Maldonado - 6 - Very little mention of him during the race which is good and bad....
Senna - 8 - Scored a point quietly racking those up.

Kovalainen - 5 - The animals
Petrov - 5 - came two

De La Rosa - 5 - by two
Karthikeyan - 3 - two by two

Glock - 3 - Two by
Pic - 5 - Two....
