A wonder: If Button won this race in spectacular style, would this make him a more 'worthy' champ in the eyes of the doubters, even though it's not a championship clincher?

Yes, it surely would.

But my guess is that it will rather be the 2 RBRs of Webber and Vettel VS Hamilton.
"I don't think we should be used to finance (the manufacturers') R&D because they will produce that engine anyway" said Monisha Kaltenborn.
"You will never see a Mercedes using a Ferrari engine or the other way round."

Seems like a good idea but instead of just the winner you have to get the entire poduim

I'm going to change my Reject of the Race to everyone who thinks the pit lane exit is going to be a problem. Seriously, what evidence is there that it's going to cause trouble aside from the fact that it's different?

My only prediction for this race is that Lap 1 - Corner 1, is going to be a "Crash-up Derby."

Last Race, both Championships decided, LOTS of un-signed drivers looking for a seat for next year.

Look-out for the noobies, I mean rookies.

Probably by Grosjean.

OR, Button drags his fuel hose with him, spills fuel at the left turn out of Pit-Lane, and somebody slides wide into the wall.

No. Kimi goes out of F1 with a bang, humping Sutil. Disgusted, McLaren immediately drops negotiations with Raikkonen and signs up Adrian.

And on the F1Rejects forum, there will be great joy.

Yes, but everybody is posting - and not just here, but across the internet - "Oh, there's going to be an accident, the race is going to be ruined", yet there's no proof that it will happen. Aside from Rosberg, when was the last time anyone messed up the pit exit? The drivers are not idiots. And do you seriously think the organsiers have't planned for possible problems? It's not like the just went ahead and built it, they had to get approval.

So in the end, you're all just making a mountain out of a molehill.
