I mentioned earlier in the thread that the deadline is on 31st May,noon.

I also thought there was mention of bringing the deadline forward...

I know, but I have to go on a school trip from the 27th to the 30th,which delays the deadline.I think there is Wi-fi at the hotel I'm staying at,but I only have my iPad along, and it is too inconvenient to try and decide what time to post the deadline.

Fair enough. Can't argue with that. :)

Fairly mediocre track for a fairly mediocre airport.

Newark Airport, New Jersey.

That looks like an interesting track, maybe a mix between Longford and Ain-Diab...

Anyways, we're currently having a competition to see who can make the best airport track using runways, taxiways and perimetre roads. Care to join in?

I like this idea of a contest! The winning track should be made for a game like rFactor by someone who is skilled at doing such things.

Not related to the contest, there absolutely needs to be a street circuit in Ashgabad, the capital of Turkmenistan. That city is full of crazy mechanic monuments built by the crazy dictator who created this personality around him that more or less became the state ideology. One of them is in the form of a book whose pages open automatically. Check it out!

Be my guest. I originally envisioned it as something the Group 5 and 6 cars of the 1980s could race on.

Hmmm. East Midlands Airport is probably the most rejectful layout it's possible to design a circuit round. So I've cheated and cut across to a short public road to make an interesting circuit, rather than the AVUS clone it'd have been otherwise. Considering Donington Park is only a stone's throw away, and nobody in their right mind would not race there instead, this has "reject gold" written all over it.

Et voilà.

I think the perfect circuit would be a mix of several of those circuits.

Part 1 - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5488672

Part 2 - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5488674

Part 3 - http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5488676

And then something to connect them. I'm not entirely sure what.
