dinizintheoven, the Ford Thunderbird did indeed race in NASCAR from 1977 to 1997 before switching to Taurus in 1998, though "NASCAR Reject" Billy Standridge raced the T-Bird in several events that year.

Seeing him since his NASCAR days back in '08, I've watched him become a force to be reckoned with on the dirt tracks. Willing to race anything and everything, Bryan is the definition of a true racer and he will be missed by so many who knew him.

As for the Rookie of the Year, I highly doubt that he will win that based on the finishes he's had compared to those of Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney.
