In that case, we'll buy the Dynamics Astra and put Alan Blencowe, who drove in the PBTCC in 2003 so is hopefully eligible, in it for the whole season. We may buy a second car later on in the season depending on prize money. Also, just a suggestion, but what about offering the championship winner a ...

Pines Racing would like to register a preliminary entry into the series, but we will wait until the full car list is out before making any firm plans. Re: F1 Rejects - Alternate BTCC 2004

I think John Batchelor fielding a Peugeot 406 Coupe for Richard Marsh may well be the worst Team/Car/Driver combination in BTCC history...

EDIT: I've just realised that for two rounds in 2004 Batchelor put Marsh in a 307 so I take back this statement.

Re: F1 Rejects - Alternate BTCC 2004

In contrast to many of the other teams, Proton would be very happy to have Neate on the BTCC grid in 2004, as it increases the number of drivers we may be able to beat. We therefore refuse to give Tech-Speed their protection money. You will regret this when the Cosa Nostra turn up at your door! We ...

Just watched Days of Thunder. I guess you could say it really got to me. Great story, great scenes, great lines, great everything. Someone link me to a film about Group B rally cars and I will kill myself for not being born in time for the 70s/80s (although to be fair the film was released in 1990)...

I would say that doing a documentary means that the final film is more likely to be watchable and enjoyable, since we've seen in the past that racing rarely makes for a good drama film, and it would save us from attempts to crowbar in artificial plot twists when real life is more adept at that.
