I'll be sorry to see him go too. I'm more sorry at the way his career has petered out; there was easily another championship in him.
As for his option on 2018, does anyone seriously see a 38 year old being given a race seat?

Every time F1 visits Hockenheim, I mourn the old track and think what a shame it is that they ripped it up. And by the end of each race weekend, I remember just how good the current track is as a race track for producing good racing. That section from Turn 2 all the way into the stadium makes for b...

Have Ferrari actually said they're concentrating on next years car? (a wonderful euphemism for 'this one's sh1t'). i've always preferred Imola over Monza. Sure, the Tamburello and Villeneuve were a bad way to address the issue, but they were still neccessary and didn't detract TOO much from the circuit. Really disappointed with Hamilton's performance, and to be honest, most drivers really. The amount of people running straight on at corners, clipping walls, spinning, etc is too high. With the exception of the live coverage of Mexico all the other races across the pond are late evening highlights. I suspect this has got more to do with screwing up C4's Sunday evening schedules than any process of selection.
