Re: Predicament Predictions - 2011 Chinese GP
Wizzie, I know it's still early, but could you please open the Predicament Predictions thread for Turkey? I will be away for a university field trip for all of next week and so can't post my predictions after friday (CEST).

"Cannot be displayed" for me, too. But the counter really does sound extremely promising. However, this would mean that the last race was 4 1/2 years ago. Which it was not. Since there were two Teams USA (the second of which being Andretti/Green Racing, the first one I don't remember) - co...

Perhaps this is helpful: m Third from bottom you will find a recording of an Asiatech motor playing "When the Saints Go Marching In". Apparently, the Asiatech guys created this when the company (?) left F1. Also, there is a recording of a Renault motor playing "God Save the Queen"...

Well it wasn't really worth the hype. But attracting MotoGP and calling it the "Circuit of the Americas" (which I like, even though it might be a bit presumptuous) is still good news. They are finally making the right noises.

Road America has nowhere near the infrastructure needed for an F1 race, I think Laguna Seca might be too small, and Watkins Glen owes Bernie money. Indeed. Also, they would all have to spend equally biblical amounts updating their tracks for F1's needs (especially safety wise, but also in terms of ...

Another Spoiler Alert Ryan Briscoe is dumb. This is the IRL, not F1, there are no designated passing zones, and drivers are supposed to race. The stewards are also dumb for insisting that double-file restarts are the way to go. Also spoilers: Well, amazingly, I disagree with both of the things you ...

They removed the chicane before start and finish, thus creating a rather long and twisty but still flat-out straight down to the Tamburello chicanes with walls rather near on both sides. Actually, old Imola was bad because it was to dangerous, old new Imola was bad because it was boring and new new Imola ia bad because it is equally boring but also dangerous again.
