Re: Predicament Predictions - 2011 Chinese GP

Wizzie, I know it's still early, but could you please open the Predicament Predictions thread for Turkey? I will be away for a university field trip for all of next week and so can't post my predictions after friday (CEST).

"Cannot be displayed" for me, too. But the counter really does sound extremely promising. However, this would mean that the last race was 4 1/2 years ago. Which it was not. Since there were two Teams USA (the second of which being Andretti/Green Racing, the first one I don't remember) - co...

Perhaps this is helpful: m Third from bottom you will find a recording of an Asiatech motor playing "When the Saints Go Marching In". Apparently, the Asiatech guys created this when the company (?) left F1. Also, there is a recording of a Renault motor playing "God Save the Queen"...

Well it wasn't really worth the hype. But attracting MotoGP and calling it the "Circuit of the Americas" (which I like, even though it might be a bit presumptuous) is still good news. They are finally making the right noises.

Re: big announcement from texas on tuesday

Road America has nowhere near the infrastructure needed for an F1 race, I think Laguna Seca might be too small, and Watkins Glen owes Bernie money. Indeed. Also, they would all have to spend equally biblical amounts updating their tracks for F1's needs (especially safety wise, but also in terms of ...

You might well be right that a SAFER barrier would help in all these locations.
