2024 Japanese GP IIDOTR
Yuki Tsunoda - good to see a clean race and get first home points.
Not much else today really. Maybe the Japanese Marshalls for such a swift cleanup from the red flag?

Eh probably Yuki. Q3 and drove well.
Re: 2024 Japanese GP IIDOTR
Very slim pickings here but think it has to be Yuki for a feel-good first home points for 12 years - everyone else was about as expected or poor.

Yuki, Yuki, Yuki, oi, oi, oi!
Re: 2024 Japanese GP IIDOTR
Yuki Tsunoda by default, since he wasn't guaranteed that point.

Yuki Tsunoda for scoring a point at home.

This, I suppose.

Yuki Tsunoda for reasons already mentioned.
I think Valtteri Bottas deserves a HM for being on points scoring pace - it's just that Kick Sauber Romeo (or whatever the f* it's called) still have those pitstop issues.

Re: 2024 Japanese GP IIDOTR
Yuki Tsunoda is the standout, incredibly strong throughout and his moves in Turn 6 were brilliantly crafted. He's showing up Ricciardo.
HMs:
Fernando Alonso - sure, he probably played it up a little bit, but that opening stint on the soft tyre was brilliant and vital to scoring sixth over Russell and Piastri. DRS tactic to string Piastri along to keep Russell away was well worked, and dropped the pair of them when they started to battle.
Valtteri Bottas - left field? maybe. Sauber deliberately kept its stops slow to avoid repeats of the first three races, which helped and then hindered him in the pit battle with Tsunoda, Magnussen and Sargeant. Nonetheless, he was very close to dragging that car into the points, and if Sauber hadn't needed to take four or five seconds for a stop, we'd be talking about his race more fondly.

Yuki Tsunoda - First point for a Japanese driver in their home GP since Kamui Kobayashi in 2012. A better seat is overdue for him.

Yuki seems to be getting better with every race. Seeing him score a point in his home grand prix was nice.
