2. Zhou Guanyu. Finally snapped Alfa's pointless streak, and did so while comprehensively demolishing Bottas.

Two points on his debut, after finding out he was driving instead of presenting on TV just before FP3.

1- Nyck De Vries Got points on his debut and did the job required. Good job all round.

2- Zhou. Finally got points and did a good job for Alfa Romeo.

Nyck de Vries. Not bad for an impromptu debut.

This is easy: Nyck de Vries for the best debut in ages.

Shame for Zhou as scoring points and bossing Bottas gets completely overlooked by Dr Vries (but rightly so)!

De Vries, easily. I've always my doubts on him being a great talent (his F2 years weren't amazing, his title was by far in the worst field post-2013, his FE title was won amidst a shitshow of a year), but he proved me wrong today. Amazing drive.

Zhou was also great to watch today.

1) Nyck De Vries: Excellent race coming in at the last hour.

2) Zhou Guanyu: Well ahead of his much more experienced teammate.

I nominate the legend of two wheels and sort-of-legend of Reject-tastic four wheels and Monza flag-waver Giacomo Agostini, for being Giacomo Agostini.

Though I'm quite grateful that, despite the hatchet job that Ferrari, Red Bull and Mercedes have been doing on F1 for most of the years beginning with a two, it still doesn't look like the top two categories of Grand Prix motorbike racing did between 1968 and 1970.
