Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Mexico
Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Mexico
1. George Russell. Finished ahead of Grosjean on merit and had a nice little tussle with his team mate.
2. Sergio Perez. A decent outing on home turf.

Re: Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Mexico
My nomination is Sergio Pérez for a nice drive at home, being best of the rest.
Re: Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Mexico
Like those before me, I think that Perez certainly is worth mentioning here - a solid performance with some decent moves early in the race and withstanding pressure from Ricciardo late on to hold onto 7th there.

Some say his hairstylist is a million leagues ahead of Lewis Hamilton's. Some say that his selfie stick is the steering column from Perry McCarthy's Andrea Moda. All we know is... he's not The Stig! But he is The Stig's Mexican Cousin!

Yeah, I think Sergio Perez deserves the nod here.

Perez: Best of the rest, wasn't much more he could have done.

But EVERYBODY's hairstylist is a million leagues ahead of Lewis Hamilton's...

1. Sergio Perez: The Home Hero was the best of the rest. I hope Racing Point develops better cars for the next few years.
2. Denny Hamlin for his Joey Logano impersonation post race.
(Most of the time I don't do a IIDOTR or ROTR for other series, but this HAD to be mentioned )

Yes Perez, and

I started supporting Emmo in 1976 (3 points )....missed 75, 74, 73, 72...

1.) Perez - the old home track advantage paid off. Great run.
2.) Danny Ric - He's looked like arse the last few races, but running over 50 laps on a set of tyres in that heat with his driving style is still damn impressive.
Indy used to do that for the USGP. Never understood why no one had copied it before, its a nice unique touch.

1. Perez. Got the Racing point to places where it shouldn't have been.
2. whoever decided to design the podium entrances this year. Genius.

Re: Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race - Mexico
Due to the completely overwhelming vote for Sergio Pérez (the next highest nomination had one vote and one honourable mention...) I am just going to award him Infinite Improbability Drive of the Race. The homeboy delivered and finished best of the rest, and in a Racing Point, and in the present year!
