2020 AR3.5 Season - Roll Call!

Posted: 16 Sep 2018, 20:21
by This Could Be You
First off, apologies for this being very late, but a number of computer issues (soon to be rectified with a newer, much more powerful laptop arriving on Monday) and my A-Levels/uni preparation forced it to the back burner (see also: altBTCC, Asian F4 :P). Still, better late than never.

The Simulator
For the 2020 season, I will attempt to replicate Nuppiz's setup on F1C as much as possible, before attempting a transition to either Automobilista or rFactor 2 for 2021 (...which with my luck will crash and burn :P).

The Car
The exact same Lola chassis from last season (and every season of AR3.5, in fact) will be used for one last year before it is retired for 2021.

The Calendar
TBD (I'm not that ready!)

Rules and points
The same as last year, basically.

Drivers
All prospective drivers must be no younger than 17 and no older than 30 by 01/01/20, and must have started no more than 16 ARWS or F1 races, or entered more than 24 ARWS races (or any combination thereof that exceeds 24). Drivers with insufficient (read: literally none) Canon experience may be rejected at my discretion.
Teams
Before anyone new can enter, the previous 21 teams from 2019 must confirm their participation (or not) in the upcoming season. This must be done by 11:59PM BST on the 30th September 2018. The status of entries will be shown below:

If I'm not even on the waiting list, I'm going to at least offer Aria Hevel and Ryunnosuke Takashi, my drivers from last season's F4, to hire. I would feel at least a little present in AR 3.5.

Just some friendly advice: that move would likely end up killing the career of those drivers. F4 to AR 3.5 is a two-tier jump, and their stats probably wouldn't be good to reflect the massive difference between the two series.

AR 2.0 or F3 would be much wiser options given their promising results in their respective F4 series.

As the deadline for the roll call has long since passed, Simpson Motorsports, Falik Arrows, Nebula Grand Prix, Underhill Motorsports, and North Star Racing will not be returning. This means that [b]CarloSpace, Gonzalea, TomDilain, GertrandBachot and aggi will have entries for this year, provided that they can respond with plans by 11:59PM on 13/10/18. In the meantime, the other teams can barter with eachother over driver deals and possibly work on their liveries/tell me what you want you livery(s) to look like.

MasterCard Bachot Grand Prix (based in Arlon, Belgium but racing with a French license) will join the AR3.5 grid for 2020.

Since TomDillain and Aggi are unlikely to respond and no one else has responded yet i will just attempt an entry with Mediterranean Motorsport for next Season.
