The difference between the tiers is that each tier will pay out more money, so Tier 1 (Title Sponsor) will pay out the most but with the hardest goal, Tier 2 (Major Sponsor) is a middle balance between money and goal difficulty, and Tier 3 (Sponsor) has the easiest goal but you get the lowest amount of money.

Reject of the Race - Vincenzo Sospiri - was over a second slower than his teammate and DNQ'ed/Paul Tracy - Was 14 places behind his teammate in qualifying, was stuck behind a goddamn Eagle and then tried to murder Gualter Salles but it just ended in a huge repair bill.
