2019 FIA Formula Three Eurasian Championship

Post by Normal32 »

Hello all, I will be taking over the duties of Formula 3 starting from 2019.

Cars
Not too much has change in this respect, if at all. We will still use the Jones-Holden combo used in 2018.

Car: Jones 115
Engine: Holden LSF3-18

Drivers
For those of you who have ever looked at the driver market in the Alt-F1 Current Era, the system will not be unfamiliar to you. Basically you pick drivers and the gods of RNG decide in case of a real-life driver and the users decide for their fictional drivers. There are no general limits for entry in Formula 3.

Contracts are generally one-year and may be canceled by either side without stating reasons with one weekend notice. Other agreements are possible between users and DEC owners.

As you may have realised from the first paragraph of this part, real-life drivers are permitted in the series. Please note that this is Formula 3. Most any driver that has driven a car in the same level is very likely to reject your offers.

If you enter a fictional driver, I may reserve the right to question you why the driver is doing Formula 3, if I consider him, due to his past experience, too advanced to do F3. Should I find your answer to that unconvincing, your driver will be banned from taking part in the F3 Eurasian Championship.

Teams
Entries will be expanded to 12 teams, from the 9 in 2018. The priority list will be kept from last year for new teams:

a) New teams from users that have not run a team in any of ARWS, AR3.5, AR2.0, Alt-F1, F2, F3 last season
b) Teams from AR 2.0 that want to change serieses
c) Other teams

The top 2 of 2018 can run a third car should they want to. The third car won't be elegible to the WCC tally of the team. Should they chose not to run the third car, the privilige is passed on down the order.

To enter, please fill out the following formula.

Code: Select all

Team Name: Duh...
User:
Nationality: Only one nationality, all UN member states + Palestine are permitted
Car Numbers: Any two consecutive numbers from 3-120, with the exception of 4, 13, 17 and 69.

---- First Driver ----
Candidate:
Nationality:
DEC User:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
---- Second Driver ----
Candidate:
Nationality:
DEC User:
If you aim to sign a real-life driver, please post a few more options to make sure you are not without a driver when the season starts.
Race Weekend
There will be ten weekends of two races of 70 km on each weekend with a seperate qualifying session for each. In addition to that, there will be two special events; the Pau and Ansan SuperPrix, both run at 80 km.
Points will be awarded in accordance with the new F1 points system for 2018:
1 - 15 pts
2 - 12 pts
3 - 10 pts
4 - 8 pts
5 - 6 pts
6 - 5 pts
7 - 4 pts
8 - 3 pts
9 - 2 pts
1 - 1 pt
Pole Position - 2 pts
Two cars of each team can score points in the team championship. For violation of the sporting regulations, drivers will be assessed penalty points. Any driver that amasses 10 penalty points will lose his team 6 points in the team championship.
Scuderia Adriatica F3 team to become Williams' junior operation
The rumors linking some key figures of the WFormula Group, the investor group who bought out Williams, to Scuderia Adriatica owner Marco Benciani have found confirmation today, as the Italian outfit announced in a press conference that its Eurasian F3 team will now serve as a junior operation to the Williams Formula 1 team from the 2019 season onwards. Although the team will remain independent and keep running under Italian licence, the agreement foresees a close cooperation between Adriatica and Williams, including but not limited to the sharing of know-how between British and Italian engineers. As Benciani confirmed, the team's traditional yellow/black livery will be changed in order to reflect the new cooperation.
For any remaining vacancies, I'd like to point out 4th and 5th place in the Italian F4 championship, Ivan Shvetsov (RUS) and Lucas Legeret (SUI) are potentially decent picks.
There still appears to be a vacant team slot, so I shall enter a pair of one-car teams to top-up the numbers;
Team Name: SMP Restov Racing
User: Biscione
Nationality: Russia
Car Numbers: 27
---- First Driver ----
Candidate: Ivan Shvetsov
Nationality: Russian
DEC User: RL
If Shvetsov is a no-go thanks to RNG, the above entry will be scrapped altogether and changed to this;
Team Name: Trulli GP
User: Biscione
Nationality: Italia
Car Numbers: 10
---- First Driver ----
Candidate: Lucas Legeret
Nationality: Suisse
DEC User: RL
For the other slot, we'll start off with this idea....
Team Name: Christopherson Racing
User: Biscione
Nationality: British
Car Numbers: 5
---- First Driver ----
Candidate: Louis Gachot
Nationality: British
DEC User: RL
And this will be the backup;
Team Name: Tropico Academy
User: Biscione
Nationality: Tropico
Car Numbers: 38
---- First Driver ----
Candidate: Xavier Santillán
Nationality: Tropico
DEC User: Biscione
Oh, and before I forget; the top 2 teams from last year can enter a third car, those two being Hypernova and Adriatica. Should one of these reject the honour, the next team in line will be offered the third car and so on.
Malik Zidan is interested in a seat, unless FXS Racing wants to renew his contract.
Scuderia Adriatica would be happy to run a third car with #97.
We'd like to offer Malik Zidan the drive.
Is it a full-time seat?
Yes, of course.
