I'd like to reoffer Jordan Davies the spot in the National Academy Formula E team - with the assurance that we actually have an entry now. We'll endeavour to ensure that he will find a role within a ARWS team in 2019 too.

Lotto try to get Nicolau and Poole again: the team will compete in every GBRC round during 2019, and will run two Ford Escort's 1700T, which last year won heats.

Biscione wrote:Because Lotto Racing will not entering ARWS, but instead will be buying into Fusion, Jordan Davies' contract is considered null and void, and he will return to the ROR pool.

Because he accepted a Kjellerup management offer, he will be given a week (until 21/08) before any RNGs are run for him, to allow pi3141 to potentially sort out a replacement employment for him before another RNG is run.

While we're here, one RNG to do.

Hobson Tarantino
He has a single offer, to return to AR 3.5 with Venturi.

1-90 Accepts Venturi 3.5 offer
91-100 Wants to return to the US
47. Another year in 3.5 beckons.

Hum, what?

Davies contract was with Lotto, and only Lotto. Kjerellup had nothing to do with it, so I can't figure out why he accepted a Kjerellup management deal, since that was Pacer's bid, not Davies. So, please explain how this happened.

Whooooops.

Yes, I have been getting the two mixed up a lot lately.

So, yes, if Fusion want Davies, they can re-bid. But hurry up, time is almost up!

The spreadsheet with RNG outcomes for this iteration of ROR has been updated.

A new batch of drivers will come on stream for next season, and drivers whose status was frozen due to the unknown status of Indycar will be unlocked for bidding.

Given the way the aforementioned drivers were bid for, in that the teams for 2019 were only recently confirmed, and do not match those originally mentioned in the first bids, those bids will be wiped and reset, so you will need to bid again if you have already done so.

So, to be clear, all bids for anything related to Indycar and TC is still on lockdown, but should be open in the coming days. So keep an eye out if there is a driver here you have in mind for Indycar, as they should come live reasonably soon.

With it will come a fresh intake of new drivers, whose names will be added to the spreadsheet shortly.

-----------------------------------

I also completely forgot about Jordan Davies. Whoops.

The National Academy FE lineup is full anyway, so we'll go ahead and roll for whether he goes to Haas F1 Team.

Jordan Davies
His single offer, having lost his ARWS ride, is with Haas F1 team, a solid midfielder in the sport. Given it's that or sit and wait for something else that may never materialise, with decent opportunities in ARWS pretty much gone, F1 presents the most likely place he'll find a good ride.

1-90 Accepts Haas F1 offer
91-100 Wants to see if a bigger F1 team will come in for him
5. Davies happily accepts the Haas offer, giving him his top-flight debut.

Super Dragon would like to place bids for both former SANDWICH driver Daisuke Yanagawa and F5000 front-runner Simon Bourne to fill the two seats in their ANUS team. If Bari Mori accepts our ANUS offer instead, we will endeavour to find an alternate ANUS and/or F5000 seat for the driver that misses out.

DECs are somewhat famously not my avenue, but, having grown somewhat attached to him from the SANDWICH and F3 days, I'd like to give him another year in Status GP, with the possibility of an F2 or even an F1 drive somewhere further down the line.

As it's been more than 72 hours since the request, we'll go ahead and do Jean-Luc Schiller's ROR now.

Jean-Luc Schiller (SUI)
JLS has received a single offer, from his current employer Simpson Motorsports no less. He surprised a few people by usurping his more highly-rated team-mate Alexey Buyvolov. The car is pretty good. There are no other seats left except at the last new team. It's either stick, or twist to F1 and hope for an even better seat there.

1-98 Continues on his current path with Simpson in ARWS
99-100 Mixes it up and gambles on potentially finding a Formula 1 seat.
45. Schiller is happy to stay where he is and continue on with Simpson into 2019.

That's all for now folks, we wait now for the FNippon teams to be decided before doing any RNG for them.

I wasn't asking you. Aerond has to verify the list teams that will partake in the series before any RNG will be done for drivers aimed at that series.

Alright, time for some FNippon ROR.

Daisuke Yanagawa
Yanagawa is surprisingly one of the more in-demand drivers for FNippon. He had an offer originally from Calsonic United Nippon Team, but they have since withdrawn from the running, leaving FEAR and Fujibayashi Racing Team to due it out.

FEAR has experience in the series from years past, but didn't do particularly well in past seasons. Fujibayashi Racing Team on the other hand has an image problem - it has been very public in its pursuit of many drivers, not just Yanagawa, and given their lack of focus on hiring a particular driver, wonders if they're being openly desperate for drivers is a red flag.

1-75 // Goes for the known quantity of FEAR.
76-100 // Puts his reservations aside and joins Fujibayashi.
18. Yanagawa joins Chinese squad FEAR for 2019.

Kenshin Takahashi
Another driver with a fair bit of interest, a few suitors were rumoured to be circling, and three have firmed up their interest. Fujibayashi, like with most Japanese drivers, are interested, and so too are Super Dragon. However, interestingly, his current employers in Europe, Status GP, want to retain his services as well. This is significant, as they were recently approved to join the Formula 1 grid for 2019. There is now a clear path for him to F1. But going back to his homeland is another valid path to take to reach that ultimate goal. It's a tough decision.

1-50 Sticks at it in Europe, putting his eggs in the Status basket.
51-80 Signs for Super Dragon in FNippon.
81-100 Signs for Fujibayashi in FNippon.
23. He elects to stay the course with his switch to Europe.

ASHLEY CASSIDY
The family team wanted her to stick around with them for the new IndyCar season. Only an offer from one of the biggest teams - Penske or the like - was ever going to interfere in that happening. So such offer is forthcoming, and the time in which an offer for her services was likely to arrive from them has come and gone.
1-99 Sticks with the family outfit
100 Holds out hope that a Penske or Ganassi will ring up out of the blue
67. Ashley stays where she is for next season.

JACOB TUCKER & AKINORI KIKKAWA
This duo were once arch rivals in the Prototype class of SARS. Now, with their respective teams out of business, along with the series itself, they could do with some new employment. Valerian is the only team offering them, and it's for the prototype class in FIA PC. A perfect fit. Tucker is especially interested, given it will reunite him with former team-mate Laurent Gauthier, with whom he drove successfully in SARS.

Tucker
1-95 Signs on
96-100 Has moved on to other things in life for good
87. He looks forward to reuniting with Gauthier.

Kikkawa
1-80 Signs on
81-100 Feels after so long out, FIA PC is too big a step, and would rather wait for an offer from PES instead.
57. The former SARS champion is back in the box seat.

Martin van der Maeyede
Martin van der Meyde
Andrea Bianchi
Alexis Tantovich
Helio Hernandez
AJ Castaneda
Pedro Renales
Jan van der Maeyede
Sope Stever
Hope Stever

The following have been retired from canon by request;
Gordon Martin
Rach Moore

The remaining drivers formerly under Pasta's stewardship, who have been drafted to other users, will remain where they are, unless their new owners wish to return them of their own free will, as I have done with Jose Braggia and Denis van Walwijk.

Let's get this show on the road again.

TOMASZ GABRYSIAK
The Polish touring car driver has an offer to move up to the FIA Endurance Championship with MK Scuderia. This is definitely a step-up for him, even if the team in question is not necessarily a frontrunner in the series.
1-90 FIA EC with MKS
91-100 Waits for offers from TCWS
6 - After a year on the sidelines, Gabrysiak grabs the chance with both hands.

JONAS SÖDERSTRÖM
This young Swedish tin-top driver was looking to build a future in touring cars, but found himself comprehensively outgunned by Valerian team-mate Chloe O'Sullivan last season. He is not sure whether to take the PES offer from Fireback, which may offer some much needed security, or to risk playing a waiting game to see if any TC teams may be interested. They also mentioned casually there is a chance for him to go to FIA EC - if he is feeling brave, perhaps he may demand he gets to do both?
1-35 PES with Fireback Racing
36-70 Wants both FIA EC and PES
71-100 Waits for offers from TCWS
70 - He thought long and hard about it, but is willing to give up on his touring car ambitions to a sportscar career. He wants a shot at the big leagues however, and will only accept the PES role offered if he also gets a drive in FIA EC to go with it.

JULES VERGNE
Vergne is miffed by his offer. He gets wind that Polaris want him, but on doing some research about the team online, notices they've signed Laura Wener for one seat, and are finalising a deal for Leonardo Lorandi in the other. He elects instead to do nothing, and wait for a more firm offer to come, and hopefully from a better series as well.

JAMES DAVIES
Having driven a customer BMW in IPC last season, the factory team has now offered him a full-time ride in touring cars next season. This also includes a promise of a handful of appearances in Formula E for the Melrose BMW squad. Certainly a good offer.
1-95 Love me some Helvetica
96-100 He's more of a Jokerman
18. Davies completes the factory BMW lineup in TCWS.
