Arrows F1 Team Press Release wrote:Arrows F1 Team first wishes to congratulate Damon Hill for his continued excellence, ultimately finishing four places ahead of his talented team-mate. His ninth place finish was a clear sign of our team's determination to keep working to finish in the points.

However, this is difficult when we are not given any time to perform pre-season testing on our car.

For example, to arrange an engine test, we would have first needed to seek confirmation with Williams that this was a worthwhile exercise; we were given no time to do this.

Had we intended to carry out Driver Testing (which we do) then we would have needed some opportunity to get them to the track before we set off to Australia.

That said, we do intend to carry out extensive Driver Testing before the next round, with both Hill and Takagi scheduled for four sessions each, with logistics expected to set us back about 12 million. But it will be worth it.

Stefan qualifying at the back and a double-DNF? Well, what did you expect!

By the way, will the 107% rule be enforced in this championship?

Christ, what have we got to do to score points? :(

Benetton will take an engine upgrade and upgrade both of our drivers, if possible.

In typical reject fashion, I forgot I had a team here, and I missed out on a free upgrade! Still, this is what you would expect if Stefan really entered F1, right? Andrea Moda style performance and investment...

Plus, maybe updating the thread title would be useful!

I find it remarkable how, despite a decent engine (as opposed to our real-life DIY job) neither Hill nor Verstappen is able to get consistent points. They really are under-performing.
