Apologies, but I'm going to withdraw from the series. Results are completely unrealistic, and I don't much appreciate it when a series owner puts their own vested interests ahead of common sense. We currently have drivers with minimal race experience regularly beating drivers with plenty of top-level success, and that simply won't do.

Whilst I am not withdrawing (yet), I must fully agree with ataxia's criticism. I do hope for improvement (in particularly in consistency of the results) soon.

Miguel's told me he's found the issues and is ironing them out. I'm willing to give this another shot, because I put that effort in for liveries so it's a shame to waste it really. I do appreciate the time it takes to run the series, since I do two of my own, but maybe test things out a little bit more before you do them so you don't risk any backlash.

Thanks. :)

We has.. a slight issue.

After noticing the F5000 wiki page was up me, RRR and Wizzie noticed that... uhm... Razia is driving there. Which means he can't be driving in any of the races in this series. This must be... fixed. This is what happens when wiki pages aren't up for a series :P

So yeah, this must be fixed, because round 1 of IWC clashes with F5000, and Razia can't multiply himself.

Okay guys so uhmmm after F5000 wiki is up, Luis Razia turns up races there and I raced Sage Karam for all races when he's only entered for Indy so....

1. Ataxia must find another driver in place of Razia or just remove the entry.
2. Season restart: All results are nullified :L

Race 03 - Darlelton

I promise we'll scrap Darlelton next year, though Indy Lights will try it for the one last time. Quicksimmed. Don't worry about impossible gap.
238 laps
http://simresults.net/160502-Ei2

Race 04 - COTA
Thanks to fps, quicksimmed.
59 laps
http://simresults.net/160502-9PY
Pole is Daniil Kvyat

Race 05 - Phoenix
225 laps
http://simresults.net/160502-9yn

A note on Hermanos result: I uploaded the wrong quali results but from the race results it shows that Pagenaud got the pole. And looks like COTA's one also.

So after 5 races Pagenaud has won 4 races.

So Month of May has come, let the hype-train choochooo.....

I'll explain the method I use for this race.

  • Points for qualifying is scrapped, just pole driver got 1 point.
  • For every practice day there's RNG to determine if there's crash or not and the intensity of the injury. This is not run in rFactor, just pure RNG.
  • As the Time Trial Days got closer, the chance for bigger wreck got higher. It's at max on the Time Trials itself.
  • If there's a driver needs replacement the owner can replace him within 48 hours or not. If the owner doesn't responce I'll continue the RNG with the driver for the car void.
  • If RNG says crash, I will RNG how many cars, then RNG the car number until I got a matching one.
  • Some drivers might got only small injury because they race in other series and IWS is a bit late in canon calendar. Shinobu Katayama and Thomas de Bock will only qualify for the race through Bump Days as they're racing elsewhere on the Pole Day.
  • rFactor is used for qualifying run and race.

I plan to run 4 laps in qualifying in random order. I will take a note to write the driver's speed.

But for now it's practice time. Let's begin!

Rookie Orientation
0-90 = No crash
91-95 = Spin
96-100 = Minor crash
46

Everybody survived this session....

Practice Day 1
0-70 = No crash
71-95 = Spin
96-100 = Minor crash
12

Everyone got okay

Practice Day 2
0-60 = No crash
61-95 = Spin
96-100 = Minor crash
26

Practice Day 3
Warning, this is my own plot twist added and a RNG.
0-55 = No Crash
56-65 = Spin
66-98 = Minor crash
99-100 = Big wreck
88!
It's for.... 2 cars!
#3 Silvestro and #56 Jones!
RNG says... both okay. But.....

Autosport wrote:Stephan Generic Injured in Indy Practice Crash

On 3:17 pm, Indy 500 practice day 3, Canadian driver Stephan Generic was doing a quick lap. Going into turn 1 the rear of the car snapped and he proceeds to slam the wall on the left side at around 220 mph. But his team-mate David Tenpecost was following Rui Onorio when the accident occured. Onorio locked his brake to slam the outside wall. He was okay but Tenpecost blinded by the smoke got caught at Generic's car, then t-bones him at 210 mph on the driver's cockpit. Tenpecost himself hit the wall on turn 2 before stopping on the backstretch together with Onorio. Generic was found unconcious. Holmatro Safety Team quickly extracted him from the car and he was airlifted to Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital. He was diagnosed with concussion, a rib broken and bruises on his left arm and thigh. Tenpecost and Onorio got away with just bruises, and expected to return tomorrow for practice.

Rui Onorio wrote:I saw Generic just spun in front of me, I decided to hit my brakes as hard as I can then bracing myself to hit the wall. It got me some bruise but I missed his car anyway. Condolence to him.

David Tenpecost wrote:We were doing race simulation together. Natuman was having setup adjustment in garage so we only did it with three of us. I saw a smoke rises up then Onorio went straight to the wall, me blinded by the smoke found myself with Stephan in front of me. I can't react. You can't possibly avoid that. I feel so bad since he's a long time friend. I wish him a quick recovery.
