Whilst we wait for Fmecha to make his 2nd driver choice, we might as well begin the contest to decide who will be Toyota's drivers for 08!

This contest will be called F1 idol and any of the base game drivers can be nominated. All team owners have 2 nominations and anyone that doesn't have a team but is for some reason reading this thread will have 5 nominations! The top 3 polled drivers will be given the 1st, 2nd and 3rd driver rolls. However, the human controlled teams will still have priority if you wish to sign someone for your remaining driver choices.

With your votes you can even split them among drivers or pool both votes into one driver. Have Fun.

As the person who is inevitably going to provide technical support for the series, I give Kimi Räikkönen all of my 5 votes.

Come on, he was the most recent World Champion at this point!

You already have Heidfeld as your lead driver, you can't clone him and give him to Toyota too!

Wizzie wrote:Williams will put two votes for Nick Heidfeld

He is already driving for Honda, so can't be counted. But fair mistake, even Honda forgot about him.

--------

Just Super Aguri and BMW to go.

F1 Idol Votes looks like this:

Kimi Raikkonen 7
Michael Schumacher 3
Narain Karthikeyan 2
Jos Verstappen 2
Alex Wurz 1
Jarno Trulli 1
Alexandre Premat 1

Votes can be changed right up until the last 3rd driver is signed!
