RIP Peter Westbury

Westbury had one start in the 1969 German Grand Prix driving a Brabham BT30 F2 car. He also tried to qualify a BRM at the 1970 US Grand Prix but DNQed after an engine failure in qualifying.

At least he lived for another 46 years after that race at the Widowmaker which might just have made another widow that day. And, under the current scoring system, would have scored as many points in his first race in the equivalent of a GP2 car as Manor-Virgin-Marussia-and-back-to-Manor have in six seasons.
