Formula 2.com wrote:Rosenqvist steals victory from Kirchhöfer who extends championship lead
Felix Rosenqvist took victory in the second race of the weekend at Zolder, ahead of pole sitter and championship leader Marvin Kirchhöfer and RUSSIAN TIME driver Victoria Desai who closed the podium.
It wasn't a easy win for Felix though: during the first 8 laps, the swedish driver kept always Kirchhöfer in check, finally making the move for the lead in lap 8 and going to take victory after Kirchhöfer got released in the traffic, and a blistering stop by Falik Arrows. Desai fought hard and nails with Lukas Zuber all race long, but eventually prevailed ahead of the frenchman, who finished in 4th place. Gianluigi Pazzini rounded up the top 5, although both him and Jayleen Mori must be disappointed with themselves, after getting held up by a combination of Waisale Serevi, Raul Souto Maior and Tanner Jason and eventually finishing just a couple of seconds adrift from 3rd place. Mori did indeed finish in 6th place, ahead of Colton Herta who finished in 7th after a disappointing qualifying session, Max Defourny who finished again in points, Sophia Floersch who came from 20th place on the grid to 9th and Samora Mondlane who rounded up the points paying positions.
But the minor points positions wouldn't have ended like that if it wasn't for a incident on lap 21 out of the 25. Dutch Beitske Visser locked up into turn 2 and ran wide into the gravel and rejoined straight into the path of J.C. Wolf, who seemed set to take Scuderia Aqua's first points of the season, and both cars crashed out. The Formula 2 stewards didn't waste time, and after Visser's shenanigans at Japan II and Zolder I, handed her a weekend ban to be served at Singapore.

Race Results
IIDOTR: Sophia Floersch - Great job to salvage points from that low position on the grid.
ROTR: Beitske Visser - Another mistake costs her and her team points.
Stewards Report:
Due to dangerous driving, Beitske Visser has been handed a one race weekend ban by the stewards.
T.K. Wolf is handed a 5 place grid penalty for having to switch gearbox between races.
Due to Salamander beeing away, and Jerry de Boer (reserve driver) beeing racing in AR3.5, Phil McCracken will be racing in the KitKat Warriors car at Singapore.
