The driver of car #19 (Thierry Boutsen) is out for the next three races with an ankle fracture. Benetton have until September 28, 2015 (5:00 p.m., CET) to name a replacement for him. The wage of the replacement will be covered by Boutsen's wage. Real-life drivers will be decided by RNG, fictional drivers require user approval. If a replacement is not announced until the deadline, Harry Sauce will drive the car.

Ferrari F1/88-B to debut at Hockenheim?

Rumours are circulating that La Scuderia will unveil a massive upgrade to their 1988 challenger at Hockenheim - essentially a B-spec car, much like the car McLaren introduced back in Detroit.

The new car is reputed to have significantly improved aerodynamics, cooling and chassis rigidity, with the hope of improving both grip and engine reliability.

Assuming one of our two cars does make the finish at Silverstone, Ferrari will purchase a Delta upgrade in time for the German GP. If we get a double DNF and therefore don't have the money, then we'll introduce it at the Hungaroring.

Minnows AGS delighted with first point

AGS principal Henri Julien has praised his nascent AGS outfit, and expressed his "delight" that the rookie team have managed to score their first World Championship point. The Gonfaron-based squad have found themselves well within the midfield in their first season in Formula One, and an excellent drive from lead driver Philippe Streiff saw the Frenchman come home in 6th place at the team's home Grand Prix at Paul Ricard, ahead of Frederic-Maxime Voeckler's Minardi and teammate Alex Caffi.

"I'm delighted with the result, and to do it on home soil really means something special" said Julien. "Philippe did a great job, and I'm also delighted with the job Alex did as well."

"Next time, we'll have to get both cars up there! It's a real reward for our little team, and I hope that we can use this as a starting point to be successful."

As I have heard concerns regarding this development, I will assure you that I am going to continue my role as GP Rejects ASMF Canon Formula One™ Commissioner and carefully watch over normal's decisions.

Formula 1 to expand grid size?
After a recent meeting from key members of the FIA, the grid size will be rumored to be expanded to 34 cars, with 17 teams, with the 13th and 14th teams in the constructor standings doing pre-qualifying alongside the new teams. However, there will still be 28 cars in the main qualifying, with 26 making it into the race.

Some of the rumored new teams include sportscar teams BMS Scuderia Italia and Brun Motorsports, F3000 teams Onyx Racing and FIRST Racing, and possible return of the ATS Tyres management.

There are also rumors of more tyre manufacturers coming into the sport, with Pirelli and a yet to be mentioned tyre manufacturer coming into play, as well as Yamaha supplying engines to the Zakspeed team, alongside a return of Renault in terms of engine manufacturers.

In other plans, FIA president Jean-Marie Balestre is planning on changing the engine formula in 1989, switching to only naturally-inspired engines, banning turbocharged, apparently for safety reasons.

Balestre and the FIA have refused to comment on all the manners.
