No, the queue is empty because I already approved that request. Everything should be working now.

I again warn HawkAussie that Bourne can't do F5K full season, since he has a clash with a GBRC round, and captain_getz, as Tilkesson can't do the sixth round, since it clashes with his IPC commitments.

I'll then declare that the entries for Germany are open up into the 18th of September, at 00:00. Put your entries here in this topic.

Bourne isn't doing the full season as he is only doing these rounds in the championship.

Round 7: Highlands Motorsport Park - June 2-3
Round 8: Pukekohe - June 16-17

3 days for Germany entries to close! Manufacturer teams who haven't entered a guest driver can still do so, and privateers are always open, not just for Germany, but for all the remaining rounds!

We currently have 41 entries for the German round of the GBRC, so there's always space for more. :P :)

Deschenes wins and takes championship lead

Some said that the drivers didn't know what to expect from FroettmaRing in Germany, in the fantastic town that is Munich. A twisty track, with only one straight where the cars hitted up to 220km/h. That was the highest speed overall in the weekend, as drivers tried to figure out how to master the circuit. Coming into qualifying, it seemed another Porsche vs Lancia was in store, and people got what they wanted, as the top 5 was made out of these two teams drivers. But in the end, Lancia was stronger, finishing 1st and 2nd in qualifying, with championship leader Pykalisto taking the pole position point, finishing 0.276 ahead of Munari. A fantastic lap from Markus to take pole. On contrary to what happened in Mid-Ohio, where the field had a spread of 20 seconds, in FroettmaRing, the 43 car field was covered by only 2.774 seconds. Qualifying had some disappointments though. Mazda had a very though day in the saddle, with all cars failing to qualify, and so did Ferrari, with Schilling DNQ'ing for the first time this year, and Gonzalez only 17th fastest made the team worried that the mexican wouldn't be able to conquer the quarter-finals. The best privateer in qualifying was of the german driver Hilko Leifeld, a local driver with plenty of experience around this track. He qualified 6th.

Quarter-Finals we're coming next, and the draw made a very strong heat 2, with Røsbjørgen, Pykalisto and Munari getting drawn in. This meant that the top 3 from qualifying was in the same heat. In heat 1, it was the american driver Riley Griffith that took the win, while the fight for the other places was always intense. Giovanni Roda made one mistake in lap 1 which made him drop to last place, and while he would come back to 4th place, it wasn't enough for him to qualify into the semi-finas. At least, he set a blistering lap that was faster than Pykalisto qualifying time as a all. Sadly, for Roda, it wouldn't be the fastest lap of the weekend. With that, Henry Paul took advantage, and placed the MK Scuderia Opel in 2nd place in the heat, qualifying for the semi-finals on his debut. Both Ford's also had trouble, with Christian Poulsen in the manufacturer Ford losing control of the car made him drop to last, where he would finish, while Florian burned through the tyres too quickly, and lost pace towards the end of the race. In heat 2, the most expected of the afternoon, Rosbjorgen and Pykalisto traded the lead for pretty much all the race, with the norwegian eventually coming out on top, sending the crowd wild, while Munari could only manage 4th,and his time overall wasn't enough for him to qualify for the semi-finals. He was out. Another disappoting weekend for the italian driver. Heat 3 provided us with the draw of one of the surprises of qualifying on pole, with Shad Griffith, but the american driver wouldn't capitalise on that, with him finishing 6th and last in the heat. Sugomari was catching Deschenes for the lead, but made a mistake and dropped to 5th place, missing a fantastic oportunity to give Toyota their first final. Porsche scored a 1-2 in the heat, with Deschenes ahead of Hasanov. Heat 4 brought us the first, and only, mechanical failure of the day, with Jochen Märko engine giving up in the first lap. A disappoting weekend for the austrian driver, who had been 5th fastest in qualifying, and was leading at the time of the failure. That eleveated pole sitter Lea Winter ino the lead, but then she lost it to Daniel Polák, who would then get overtaken by Bernardo Gonzalez, which indicated Ferrari had surpassed the gremlins of qualifying, with the mexican winning the final quarter-finals heats, ahead of Polák. With that, the 4 wildcard drivers for the semi-finals were Hilko Leifeld, Saheeh el-Hawami, Helios Nicolau and Katia Lea Winter.

Semi-Finals had more interesting draws, as heat 2 once again provided us with Pykalisto vs Røsbjørgen, with Deschenes also in that heat. Heat 1 was a bit weaker, so surprises could be in store. Gonzalez proved definetelly he's heat 4 win in the quarter-finals wasn't a fluke, by dominating the first of the heats, finishing ahead of Hasanov and Leifeld, who also went into the A-Final. A fantastic debut for the german driver. The first heat was marked by a mistake by Daniel Polák, as the Citroen driver locked up into the hairpin, and fell from 2nd to last place, but still recovered to 4th, setting his first fastest lap in the series. But once again, it was on heat 2 everyone had their eyes on. Deschenes from 6th place on the grid made a brilliant start and got to 2nd place fairly quickly, and then overtook Riley Griffith for the lead, and went pretty much unchallenged for the remaining of the race, evern though Riley was able to pass him again. But for the disappointment of the Trueba team, Pykalisto wasn't himself today. He was out of shape, and while he was running 4th place, catching 3rd, he lost the car and spun, and found himself in last place, and out of the A-Final. Luck also wasn't on Røsbjørgen's side, as the norwegian finished 4th in heat, and he too was out of the A-Final. This led to the biggest surprise of the afternoon, with Saheeh el-Hawami in the USD Austin-Metro qualifying for the first final for a final, sending his team into celebration in the pit area.

With that, an afternoon full of surprises was about to end, but not before the two finals. The B-Final was expected to be Pykalisto vs Røsbjørgen though, despite the two not having a very happy afternoon up until that point. From first position on the grid, Daniel Polák led the first 4 laps of the race before beeing overtaken by Røsbjørgen. This is where trouble began. The norwegian and the czech driver started playing bumper cars on each other, and eventually the czech driver lost the fight. Polak then started fighting Pykalisto, and he too played bumper cars with the czech, and he too won against the czech, who fell into last place. With the bumper cars playing around, Polak and Røsbjørgen ran wide both, and let the door open into turn 3, and one person took advantage of it: Katie Lea Winter took the win, and never look back. After an eventfull afternoon for the german driver, with small spins and lots of bumping, she finally found luck, and took the win in the B-Final ahead of Røsbjørgen and Pykalisto. But the main event in GBRC is, as always, the A-Final. Deschenes got drawn on pole, and he never looked back. A phenomenal driver from Deschenes who was able to hold off the last lap attack from Riley Griffith, and take his first win in GBRC, followed by two drivers in the first race: Riley Griffith took 2nd, while Hilko Leifeld took 3rd, and set te fastest lap of the weekend, giving him the bonus point for that. Hasanov got his best result so far with 4th place, while Gonzalez struggled a bit and took 5th, while el-Hawami finished 6th.

With this win, Pierre Deschenes took the lead in the championship, on 47 points, 3 ahead of Pykalisto who's on 44. Rosbjorgen is 3rd on 37, while Gonzalez is 4th on 33 points. In the teams championship, Globex Scorpio Racing incredible weekend made them go on top, with 112 points, now 50 points ahead of Trueba, showcasing how bad Trueba's weekend was as a whole. In the manufacturer championship, Porsche also took the lead, 32 points ahead of Lancia.

The next round of the Group B RallyCross Championship will occur in the weekend of 7-8 July, in Sweden, in the circuit of Höljesbanan.

Suzumiya Apologise, Lands Contract with USD

After having ignored months ago the offer to run in the factory Metros of Union Saver Developments, rally driver Haruhi Suzumiya had to backpedal on her decision, making a formal apologise to the team. USD's rally team manager, Thomas Slider, explained that "the Japanese driver will be on a period of grace, driving the guest car in the rounds of Netherlands and in Sosnova, before running in the main car for 2019"
It was known that Suzumiya's apologise included a written letter, and a 1-week slavery contract (as a maid) for the whole USD GBRC staff and drivers.

He has no contract with this team. We intend to help Suzumiya have his original contract with Nissan honoured, otherwise the RDU may be forced into remedial action by legal means."

"Protecting the rights of drivers is our paramount objective. USD should not be making such strange claims, and Suzumiya deserves to have the contract he did sign with a rival team honoured."

Management Misunderstandings

Just hours after apparently signing a contract with Haruhi Suzumiya for 2019 and some races in the current season, Union Saver Developments just came to known that the Japanese rally driver had already signed with a local team with Nissan backing. USD's rally team manager, Thomas Slider came up ahead. "This whole issue seems a misunderstanding with a so-called agent inside the GBRC management that claimed that Suzumiya was still a free agent. Union Saver Developments wants to make sure that we won't disturb at all the work of the Rejects Drivers Union, and in future procedures, we will ask the RDU before taking risks with people of unknown quality that claims to speak in the name of the drivers.
Once again, Union Saver Developments apologies for this mistake"

Fairytale in Sweden for Lomas and BITW

There are fairytales in motorsport. This weekend, in the third round of the Group B Rallycross Championship, we had one of those fairytales. Bob Lomas became the first privateer to win a racing weekend in GBRC, driving the BITW entered Audi Sport Quattro. The british driver put on a fantastic display in the A-Final, after starting from 3rd, and stealing the lead in the final lap from Christer Malmström, who finished 2nd. This round had the particularity that the podium overall was made of 3 debutants in the series.

In qualifying, for the second round in a row, we had a Lancia 1-2, with Pykalisto ahead of Munari once again, with Deschenes beeing the fastest of the rest. Another Porsche vs Lancia festival seemed to be in store, with Malmström in the middle. Rosbjorgen disappointed a bit in his lap, only beeing 7th fastest, starting what would be a disastrous weekend for the norwegian Porsche factory driver. The best privateer in qualifying was Hilko Leifeild, who was 10th fastest. The other championship conteder in Bernardo Gonzalez was 11th fastest. Eventual A-Final winner Bob Lomas was only 12th fastest in qualifying (also beeing the first driver to win the overall GBRC event without beeing one of the top 10 fastest drivers in qualifying), with home town hero Lasse Tilkesson beeing 13th fastest in his own Opel Manta. Kelly Harris qualified a Mazda for the second time this year only, beeing 16th fastest, while Pijanowski in his guest Skoda was 20th fastest. Julia Schilling was the 24th fastest, and was the final qualifier.
Mark Kirby once again disappointed, beeing only 28th fastest, while Luca Pacchiarini was the biggest disappointment in qualifying, ending up only 27th fastest, and with a DNQ beside his name. Both Aeroracing Audi's failed to qualify as well, while Saheeh el-Hawami, after reaching the A-Final in Germany, failing to qualify for the first time this year. This qualifying also proved another milestone, as Shad Griffith became the first driver to DNQ by mechanical failure. Eventually, the pack was spread by 9 seconds overall.

For the quarter-finals draw, heat 1 and heat 4 were visably stronger than the other two. In heat 1, Sandra Cessler took her first heat win in GBRC, finishing ahead of Christian Poulsen, who overtook Gonzalez in the final corner to take 2nd place from the mexican driver, and putting the Kiwi Racing Ford for the first time into the semi-finals. Gonzalez ended up 3rd, while Pykalisto finished 4th, and found out that his overall time wasn't enough for him to clear into the semi-finals. A disappointing result for him, since he set the fastest lap of the weekend in this heat, earning him another point. Most of that can be to the fact that Pykalisto spended the heat trying to clear Hasanov, who was defending like a madman, until his engine expired.
In heat 2, we saw Massimo Munari get back to heat wins for the first time since Mid-Ohio, finishing ahead of Hilko Leifeld. Munari seemed back to good performances for the first time this year, a relief for the Trueba boys.
In heat 3, Mika Litmanen took the win ahead of Bob Lomas, and both cars went to the semi-finals without a problem.
In heat 4, we saw a terrific heat with another big disappointment. Draw on pole, Rosbjorgen made mistakes all throughout the heat, and eventually ended the heat stopped on the side of the track with a misfiring engine, culminating in a disastrous showing for the norwegian driver. Deschenes took the heat win, and increased his championship lead, while Malmström took 2nd place.
The 4 wildcard drivers for the next round were Bernardo Gonzalez, Fernando Costas, Daniel Polák and Ólafur Ragnar Hannesson.

Semi-finals were next, and the draws were fairly levelled. A big mess in heat 1 saw Hannesson take his first heat in GBRC, after Cessler and Leifeld had a come together while fighting for P3 on lap 3, which delayed them both and Poulsen. The top 3 pulled away, but a series of fastest laps from Sandra Cessler saw her catch the front three, and with a dive on the final lap, took 3rd away from Bernardo Gonzalez, and getting that final place in the A-Final in heat 1. Munari finished 2nd in between Cessler and Hannesson.
For heat 2, the show was prepared. Deschenes took 3 laps to clear Costas for P4, and by that time had lost ground for 3rd place man, Bob Lomas. Malmström got overtaken by Litmanen, and eventually defending from Bob Lomas lost the rear, and eventually had come together with Deschenes while fighting for P3, which dropped the frenchman behind him, while the finn grabbed the final spot in the A-Final. Deschenes was visably disappointed, putting the blame on Christer for the incident.

The B-Final was first before the main event came. Hilko Leifeld took the lead in lap 1 and never let it go, taking his first win in a final. The big disappointment was for Christian Poulsen though. The danish driver got to P2 and was catching very fast Leifeld, before an engine failure ended his race, which delayed the rest of the pack, including Deschenes who ran into the back of the stricken Ford midway through the final corner. The frenchman lost time, but eventually recovered to 4th place, increasing his championship lead in the process. The only driver who won points from the champioship contenders was Bernardo Gonzalez, who was able to catch Leifeld in the final lap, but couldn't make the pass, settling down for P2, while Daniel Polák took 3rd place in the Leclerc Citroen. Deschenes took 4th, Costas 5th while Poulsen was 6th overall.

But now came the main show, and boy, the fans weren't disappointed with the race. Bob Lomas took the early lead, but eventually lost it to Christer Malmström who would lead into the final lap of the race. Lomas dropped into P4, but a mistake from Munari made him go into P2. Now he only had Cessler and Malmstrom ahead. Coming into the final two laps, he pressured Cessler and the american made a mistake down the hill, and lost the car, falling behind Lomas. Next lap, Cessler had a fight with the Trueba cars, and came out worse, when she got touched by Hanneson and spinned, falling into 6th place, where she would finish. Meanwhile, Lomas chased after Christer, and into the hairpin for the final time, went down the inside, and took the lead of the race, and he was able to pull away a good enough gap to win on his GBRC debut for BITW. Malmström finished 2nd, while Hannesson took 3rd. 4th place went to Mika Litmanen, while Munari finished 5th and Sandra Cessler 6th.

With this results, Pierre Deschenes now has a 10 point lead on Pykalisto, and a 12 point lead on Gonzalez. Rosbjorgen is 4th in the championship, 19 points behind, while Leifeld is 5th, 21 points behind the frenchman. In the teams championship, Trueba closed on Globex Scorpio, with the gap now beeing only 15 points, 131 to 116, while USD are third on 60 points. Ferrari are 4th on 46 points, while ADAC Nordbayern are 5th on 34 points. Porsche lead the manufacturer champioship, 77 points to Lancia's 57, while Ferrari is 3rd on 35 points and Austin is 4thon 32 points, with Citroen closing the top 5 on 18 points.

The next round of the Group B Rallycross Championship will be in Finland, in the town of Tykkimäki, in the weekend of 28-29 July.

i assume that should be +9.019 or +10.019?

After 2 DNQs, Katayama has left GBRC, Kenji Katayama cited that "Costs, uncompetitive equipment and grid sizes means it is impossible for us to even get close to qualifying and as such we have decided to pull out and save money. This effects me and Shinji and we will look at other series to enter. The large grids mean that very few drivers are going to qualify let alone get knocked out in the heats, we at Autosport feel that either there should be more heats or the grid sizes should be curtailed.

Griffith becomes 5th different driver to win in GBRC

Riley Griffith has won the GBRC event ran in Tykkimaki, in Finland, this weekend. Griffith becomes the 5th different driver to win a GBRC A-Final this year. On the podium with the young american start were Hilko Leifeld and Fernando Costas, who took his first podium of the year. In the B-Final, Ólafur Ragnar Hannesson took the win, ahead of Daniel Pólak and Andrej Kremnicky in his GBRC debut.

In Saturday afternoon, Massimo Munari was the fastest driver overall, beeing only 0.031 quicker than Markus-Petteri Pykalisto. Mika Litmanen was 3rd fastest, 0.076 down on the italian, who got his first pole of the season, while Hannesson secured a Trueba 1-2-3-4 in qualifying. The best non-Trueba driver was Pierre Deschenes in 5th, while the best privateer entry was Tonu Pykalisto in the ECV2 setup by Pykalisto Rally. Both Toyota's quite liked how the track suited the car, with Sugomari finishing 12th fastest and Jean-Francois Deschenes beeing 20th fastest and qualifying for the second time this year for the heats. Sweden winner Bob Lomas was 15th fastest, just ahead of Shad Griffith. The first ARWS driver to enter a GBRC event, Andrej Kremnicky, was 18th fastest, while Antonio Marcelli qualified his ECV2 for the first time this season. Suzumya qualified in her debut as 24th fastest. The big disappointment of qualifying was Ferrari, with championship challenger Bernardo Gonzalez finishing only 26th fastest, and not qualifying for the heats, hampering his championship chances in the process. Mazda once again endured a though weekend, with all cars DNQ'ing, and the Aeroracing Audi's couldn't go faster than 25th and 29th fastest overall.

In the first quarter-finals, Hannesson took the win in the first heat ahead of both Citroen's. Hannesson had small troubles during the race, but the superior Trueba pace showed and he recovered while both Citroen's fought for the lead, passing them both in the final lap. Rosbjorgen had a dysmal race though. The norwegian driver went down the inside at the hairpin but got betrayed by a bump and went into the wall. He got the car to the pits to repairs, but the car now had no grip and he couldn't recover enough. He was out once again in the heats. In the second heat, championship leader Pierre Deschenes took the win ahead of Fernando Costas, with Suzumya getting the podium in the heat. Pykalisto engine in this heat gave up midway through the first lap, with the weekend beeing a disappointment for the finnish driver. The big surprise of the heats came in heat 3 when Saheeh el-Hawami took his first heat win of the year in the Austin USD, ahead of his team-mate Christer Malmström and Riley Griffith. Pykalisto got 4th, and ended up going into the semi-finals by scoring one of the fastest heat times overall. In the final heat, german driver Hilko Leifeld won ahead of Andrej Kremnicky and qualifying winner Massimo Munari. Mika Litmanen was leading the heat at the time, but his engine gave up on him on lap 3.

Into the semi-finals, Massimo Munari, one of the lucky dogs in the quarter-finals, won the first semi-final heat, ahead of Hilko Leifeld and Fernando Costas, who went into the A-Final for the first time this year. In the second heat, Christer Malmström took the heat win, ahead of Riley Griffith and Poulsen, who qualified for the first time this year for an A-Final. With the 6 drivers qualified for the A-Final, it meant a 5th different driver would win an A-Final this year. Pierre Deschenes and Markus-Petteri Pykalisto couldn't get into the A-Final, both going to the B-Final and hoping to win the race.

In the B-Final, Pierre Deschenes took an early lead, but a mistake saw him drop to 6th. He did recover, but finished only in 5th place. His mistake left Hanesson with a big gap, since Deschenes blocked the track, and the icelandic driver controlled the race from then on, and took his first win of the season. Daniel Polák once again got a B-Final podium, while Andrej Kremnicky finished 3rd. In the A-Final, Christian Poulsen led the first lap, but lost the lead on the second lap to Griffith who never let it go. While Leifeld tried several moves down the inside at turn 2 and the hairpin, Griffith always came back at the next corner, and her defensive driving payed off big time, taking her first win in a GBRC event this season.

Eric Swerts has fallen on tough times recently, but he's continuing his career with a brief foray into rallycross. He will enter an Opel Manta 400 (with the blue and yellow Phillips livery) with the number 25. Swerts will enter the rounds in the Netherlands, Czech Republic and France, potentially entering the Lydden Hill round as well.
