Rejects Rallycross to be revived for 2018
It’s official. The Rejects Rallycross Champioship is being revived for 2018, confirming the rumours that have been going on for a while. The series which was created in 2016 didn’t even make it past the first season, ending midway through the season abruptly, crowning Massimo Munari as the “de facto” champion. The new management unveiled the project today, with the name “Group B Rallycross Champioship”. The series will feature, as RRC did, Group B cars. The powerful machinery of the 80’s gets revived once again, as series manager, Miguel Rocha said: “The Group B were monsters, which sadly, got cutted off before they could be improved from the salvage beasts they we’re. And that’s what we are planning with this. We picked up the beasts, and made them more updated to this day, but keeping the same tracks that made them so recognizable: really quick, really hard to drive. It’s a challenge to be here.” During the 2 hour long press conferece, all the details we’re unveiled, details you can find down below.

Rules: (read them all )
Drivers:
Drivers have to be fictional. The way performance will be measured will be a)canon results and b)Rallycross results in 2016, if the driver entered it. Taken both things into account, a RNG range will be created for the driver, and his full stats will get RNG’ed. For example:
Massimo Munari: Was great in 2016, so he has a RNG range between 90-100.
The rookies with no past canon experience will get a RNG range between 0-100.
Cars and Teams:
The way you get to become a manufacturer team is by an application. Basically, it’s like you’re trying to convince the actual manufacturer that your team is the best to run they’re car. The privateers will have to allow to use the non-manufacturer cars (if the team has more than one car model to choose from). For the manufacturer with more than one car model to choose from, you'll have to choose your main car, while the remaining models you can sell to privateers.
The teams can have a maximum of 3 permanent drivers in each round, and one “guest driver”. That guest driver can be always the same, or be switched from round to round. The maximum numbers of guest drivers for one team to use across the season is 3. For privateers who’ll want to do a one-off, they have to have permition from manufacturer teams to run they’re cars. For example, if I’m running Lancia, my manufacturer car is the S4 and I can’t sell that to privateers, but I can sell the 037 or the ECV2 or ECV1 to the privateers.
I'll post the car list later today so you can start to make your designed posts to grab a manufacturer team.
Calendar:
The calendar will consist of 8 rounds, spread across the Europe, with one race in the USA, with the hopes of in the next years, move to more races across the globe.
Round 1: Mid-Ohio (USA) - 21-22 April 2018
Round 2: Munich (Germany) - 2-3 June 2018
Round 3: Holjes (Sweden) - 7-8 July 2018
Round 4: Tykkimaki (Finland) - 28-29 July 2018
Round 5: Valkenswaard (Netherlands) - 18-19 August 2018
Round 6: Sosnova (Czech Republic) - 1-2 September 2018
Round 7: Chateauroux (France) - 29-30 September 2018
Round 8: Lydden Hill (Great Britain) - 20-21 October 2018
Race Weekend:
The race weekend will play out in four different phases: pre-qualifying, where all the cars go in a one lap qualifying system, where the top 24 will qualifying into the main part of the event. Then we have the quarter finals, where the top 24 will be split, by RNG, into 4 heats of 6. The top two of each heat will go into the semi-finals, and the remaining 4 spots will go to the 4 drivers, who didn’t qualify directly, who set the best overall time in the quarter finals. The semi-finals will consist of two heats, where the top 3 of each will qualify into the A final, and the remaining 6 drivers will go into the B Final. Each heat will be run over 8 laps around the circuit.
In other words: Qualifying -> Quarter-Finals (4 heats of 6) -> Semi-Finals (2 heats of 6) -> Final B -> Final A
Points System:
The fastest man in pre-qualifying will get one point.
The winner of the quarter finals heat will be granted 3 points, while the second place will win 2, and the 3rd place will win 1 point.
The winner of the semi-finals will get 5 points, while the second place 3, and the the third place 1.
The A-Final points scheme will be the following: 25 for 1st, 18 for 2nd, 15 for 3rd, 10 for 4th, 8 for 5th and 6 for 6th.
The B-Final points scheme will be the following: 15 for 1st, 10 for 2nd, 8 for 3rd, 6 for 4th, 4 for 5th and 2 for 6th.
The man who set the fastest lap around the circuit (not counting qualifying) will also get a point.
The total of each driver will count towards the teams championship (minus qualifying points), while only B-Final and A-Final results will count towards the manufacturer championship.
Guest Drivers can score points for the team's champioship, but can't for the manufacturer champioship.

Here, you’ll have two options. Either you choose a livery that came with the mod for the car (the liveries will be in spoiler beneath the car) or you design your own. The templates will be available in the car’s name. Just click on it and download it.
