I remember to everyone who's entered that there's a maximum of three drivers per team for the manufacturer squads, and you have the guest drivers that you can enter as well for the races.

For the privateers, I want to hear if Nuppiz is entering or not the Citroen, and what driver is MinardiFan using to drive his car (and to know which rounds you'll enter too).

You can still sign up people, and still fairly number of spots open. :)

Here, this car was found when we bought the garage in Leipzig. It's not the fastest thing around but it should be enough to keep you competitive.

I know you did well in rallycross in your early years, so please take this as a token of apology.

So while he's doing a part-time stint in IPCC, Lasse Tilkesson will do a few rounds as a privateer to keep his skills sharpened. Tilkesson did a few rounds of the RRC in 2016, but he did fairly well there before the series went under. Tilkesson did well in a full-time B-class drive in ARST last year and he did impress in the Race of Rejects, so I would consider him to have fairly good driving skill compared to the veterans.

Team Name: Lasse Tilkesson (self entry)
Car: Opel Manta 400 (I'll use the Red and white "Bastos" livery)
Driver #1: Lasse Tilkesson (Swedish)

I remind for the people who've entered, and haven't done so, write which number each car will have.

Also, The Flying Caterham, you need to change the number of the #3 car to something else. Trueba has the #3 car.

News:
You have until the 7th of August to enter Round 1 of GBRC. Manufacturer teams have to announce guest drivers for that round until then, and sign their remaining drivers, and who still wants to enter a privateer/or a manufacturer, needs to to it until then. Racing should start on the 8th or 9th of August.

Pykalisto comes out on top at the GBRC first event

Finnish driver Markus-Petteri Pykalisto came out on top in the first event of the new Group B Rallycross Championship. The finnish driver won the A-Final ahead of the norwegian Porsche factory driver Ståle Øivind Røsbjørgen, who finished 2nd, and of the best placed american driver, Jordan McKenna, who took the last step of the podium, after dominating the qualifying runs.
In the B-Final, it was mexican Ferrari driver Bernardo Gonzalez that came out on top, beating czech driver Daniel Polák and Jochen Märko to take the win in the B-Final. Remaining points in the A-Final went to american super talent, Sandra Cessler, Pierre Deschenes who, in the A-Final, set the fastest lap of the weekend to take the bonus point, and Massimo Munari, who spend most of the weekend trying to choke away a position in the A-Final. 6th place was more than Munari deserved. In the B-Final, the remaining points went to Hamid Barmak, Fernando Costas and Julia Schilling.

Going for a larger review of the weekend, early reactions to GBRC we're positive from racing fans, team principals and drivers overall. Most of them we're happy with the end result, and congratulated series organizer Miguel Rocha for the work he did in the off-season to get the series ready for 2018.
Now, for the overall results of the weekend then. In qualifying, it was Jordan McKenna who came out on top, taking the bonus point for best time by 0.221 over Deschenes and 0.264 over Pykalisto. It seemed that the Austin of McKenna, the Lancia's and the Porsche's were the quickest cars out there. Qualifying was also noted by Mark Kirby beeing eliminated, after he had showed pace in the winter test races, beeing 25th, missing the heats by just one place, and by only 0.151. A disappointing weekend for Mazda overall.
For the quarter final heats, the draw made life easy for some, harder for others. In heat 1, both the Porsche's of Ståle Øivind Røsbjørgen and Sandra Cessler went through into the semi-final, finishing 1-2 in the heat, and Daniel Polák who eventually went through into the semi-finals as the best overall time. In heat 2, despite all his best to choke away his presence in the semi-finals, by spinning twice, Massimo Munari won the heat ahead of Hamid Barmak. One can say that Munari was lucky to even be in the A-Final, after a weekend where he deserved to be eliminated in quarter-finals after a very scrubby performance. Heat 3 was the strongest of the quarter-finals heats, as it had Pykalisto, Deschenes and Märko with a chance of going into the semi-finals directly. Märko imediatelly had troubles, losing the back end into turn 1, and getting a small nudge by Deschenes which sent the austrian into a spin. He would recover though, and would finish 3rd, and would go into the semi-finals. Later in the same lap, Deschenes spunned Outomo Sugomari into a spin as well, and chased after Pykalisto, exchanging fastest laps with the finn. Pykalisto came out on top ahead of Deschenes, and both went through. In heat 4, qualifying winner Jordan McKenna had a easy life, as he easilly cleared the heat, finishing ahead of Bernardo Gonzalez. The heat was also remembered by an inccident involving Giovanni Roda and Antonio Delvecchio, as the Ferrari driver lost control of his car, and the Lancia of Roda went straight into the Ferrari, finishing both their races on the spot.
In the semi-finals, heat 1 could've been an anticipated A-Final, with Pykalisto, Märko, Deschenes, Cessler and Gonzalez wanting a spot on it. Pykalisto, from 5th on the grid draw, came through to win the heat ahead of Deschenes and Cessler, with the three going into the A-Final. In heat 2, it was McKenna who took the win, mainting his win streak so far of the weekend, with Ståle Øivind Røsbjørgen taking 2nd on the heat and Munari taking 3rd, despite, again, of his best efforts to putting the Lancia in the wall, by spinning the car once, and losing the back end another.
B-Final was next, and it was Bernardo Gonzalez take came out on top, from last on the grid-draw, in a fantastic drive by the mexican. Daniel Polák took 2nd, while Jochen Märko took 3rd. The B-Final finished with a bang, when the top three we're within a second of each other, with Gonzalez attacking Polak into the final sector, and passing him, with a very fast Jochen Märko trying to pass both cars, but eventually managing only for 3rd.
In the A-Final, it was a phenomenal drive from Pykalisto, after getting drawn on pole, he pulled away at the start, taking advantage of a small incident involving both Porsche's, with Deschenes trying to overtake Røsbjørgen round the outside coming out of turn 2, and gave a small nudge to the norwegian, but it was the frenchman that ended up with a spin. Røsbjørgen chased after Pykalisto, but couldn't get closed enough to try and make a move on the finnish driver.
With the win, Pykalisto becames the first leader of the GBRC, with 33 points, 9 ahead of Røsbjørgen and McKenna. Trueba leads the teams championship with 52 points, 1 ahead of Globex Scorpio Racing and 25 ahead of Union Saver Developments. In the manufacturer championship, Lancia lead on 31 points, 5 ahead of Porsche and 14 ahead of Ferrari.

Entries for privateers who haven't entered any rounds are again open. For the ones who've already entered, and are looking to make any changes, please post on this topic. For the manufacturer teams, if you are looking to enter guest drivers into the 2nd round, please, do not edit your main posts. Always make a brand new post regarding changes.

I again warn HawkAussie that Bourne can't do F5K full season, since he has a clash with a GBRC round, and captain_getz, as Tilkesson can't do the sixth round, since it clashes with his IPC commitments.

I'll then declare that the entries for Germany are open up into the 18th of September, at 00:00. Put your entries here in this topic.

I realise it's not for the next round, but I'll enter now anyway because I might forget to do later!

I've noticed that on the Team Standings you've listed Albatross Racing as an Australian team, but in fact it is Japanese. I would go and make the change but I do not have an account on the wiki as of yet (As in I'm still waiting for the account on the wiki to be confirmed).

More of a reader than a poster on these forums, so I won't post much compared to others.

The account confirmation queue is currently empty. You'll have to try registering again, as your previous attempt hasn't entered the system.
