Yes. They are also completely optional - many choose simply not to bother with this. The best known example is probably courtesy of AndreaModa, who constantly pesters you to splash your livery with pink if you fall for him shilling Roberto Dinella :P

Yeah, a lot of the time people don't really bother. I just like to include it as an option because some people choose to have their driver backed by a certain group, and personally I feel it enhances the lower-league series aesthetic.

Simtek wrote:And then main and affiliate sponsors: Again, made up or what?

It's completely up to you which sponsors appear on your car; sometimes, if sponsors cover a user's entire catalogue of teams they can be used to build some storyline. In short, you pick.

Thanks for clearing that up guys :) Now to fill out that paperwork...

Team: Kurosawa Engineering
Main colours: White, red and yellow (something like this preferred, though I won't be too picky)
Main sponsors: Panasonic
Affiliate sponsors: Mitsubishi Group, Osaka Gas
Driver 1 (Délétraz) sponsors: ADS Securities, Snyper
Driver 2 (Takahashi) sponsors: None

Team: Linton-Solindahl Racing
Main colours: Red and White. Kinda want the White Stripes peppermint design in some way on the car, but simple red with white stripes would do if that's too time-consuming.
Main sponsors: Lego, B&Q
Affiliate sponsors: (the wonderfully named) DONG Energy, Anvil Hire Ltd, Avon
Driver 1 sponsors (Reith, #115): Hella, Reiger
Driver 2 sponsors (Aya, #116): Petronas, Visit Malaysia
Driver 3 sponsors (Al-Bashir, #117): TBA by DEC Owner (Klon)

If I can trouble MinardiFan for his livery plans, I can finish the 2018 mod off so we can start to crack on.

Salamander, the mod is available here to download. I don't know how au fait you are with putting a new mod into rF; I'll assume you know what you're doing, and if you have any questions just ask. I've done a couple of tests and it should all work correctly.

Both drivers finished both races in the points, but we can do way better than this, I'm really sure about it. With Guadalupe and Antonio showing speed and consistency in pre-season testing, we at Adriatica are still eyeing podium finishes and wins.

Kurosawa withdraws support, Yip takes over

Hironobu Kurosawa has announced his withdrawal from the Eurasian Formula Three Championship after what he calls a "mistake in the application process".

"I applied for the series thinking it was F3RWRS, only to find I had misread the application form. I wanted to take my team to F1RWRS and thought this was a good starting point while we wait for the new teams application process to open up again", said Kurosawa. "The team will continue under new ownership, with no change in the driver lineup".

The new owner in question is Teddy Yip, Jr, owner of the Status Grand Prix outfit, who has previously voiced his intention to return the Theodore Racing name to Formula One, and indeed Status GP have been making preparations to this end at their Silverstone headquarters. It is understood that the Kurosawa team will run under the new name from the next round onwards, with a new livery also to be expected.

NOTE: No need to design a new livery, this is only a narrative change.

By the way Moda, thanks for doing the teams' table. I'll try and keep it updated as we progress, but since this series isn't my priority I might be a little lax I'm afraid!

Luke Depault wrote:Simon has been very good for us this year, and his second win is just reward for the efforts him and the team have put in as well. Antonio has also improved since we've taken the pressures of scoring team points off him, and we hope his upward trajectory continues.

We also hope to continue our partnership with Jeroen Krautmeir and Precision Motorsports regarding the third car, and we're currently looking at options to retain the setup for next year.

EDIT: Since canonically speaking, the F5000 season would be finished by now, MRT would like to investigate the possibility of running Joey Mawson in the third car in place of Nick Cassidy for the remainder of the season.

Joey Mawson has been offered a contract to run in MRT for the rest of the season, replacing Nick Cassidy.

By one point, Ricardo Velazquez is the 2018 F3 champion. How did Frankham lose it? Like this.

Klon and I will now leave the future of F3 to Normal32, who has agreed to run the series from 2019. Thanks go to Normal for agreeing to do so, to Klon for dealing with the admin, and Salamander who did the races until his decision to part ways.
