My second entry:

Porsche 911 [996] GT3 (Customer), #74

We're going to go with a car that doesn't stray too far from our MR-S' dynamics. We're a team, after all.

Drivers
Real: Christopher Haase (GER)
Fictional: Flavio Moretti (ITA)
Some say he plans to put an S921 on the Goodwood 2012 run, and that he DOES know what Deletraz is doing.
All we know is...he's called Perry McCarthy!

...we'll never see an S921 at Goodwood, will we?

Because Ice1Racing does not run the Subaru works team, he can have the consumer BRZ. ;)

I am sorry, but didn't you forget my #66 entry somewhere? :(
(If you want, you can include it from Race 2 onwards)

Reject_Dom wrote:So if I read it correct, then as I run Porsche Team Australia, I should use the customer 911 for my second team?
Tell me if so.

Anyway,
Porsche Junior Team Australia:
Team type: Customer?
#66, looks like the old 911 (1999-spec)
Drivers - James Courtney (AUS), Ryan Eastham (AUS)

There might be a possibility it wasn't allowed tho...

Porsche Team Australia wrote:James Courtney fit after being injured in practice crash at Tokyo
Aussie driver James Courtney, who was the teammate of his countrymate Ryan Eastham in the #66 Porsche Junior Team Australia entry, was injured during a practice accident at the Tokyo R246 track on Friday. Courtney lost the back of his Porsche 993 RSR going into Turn 2, spinning at high speed and crashing into the tyre wall. His time was enough for third among the privateers at the time.
Courtney suffered mild back injuries but was unable to race - with Eastham unable to find a teammate for the race. The car was still in too severe damage to be repaired, so the team had to close its doors at the R246.

Courtney will be scheduled to come back with the #66 entry in the second event at the Lippo Village in Indonesia.

The #55 works Porsche 996 of Jamie Whincup and Pete Wilkins qualified in ninth, but they managed to fight back and get three points for fourth place. The race was won by the #15 Renault Mégane of Sébastien Loeb and his teammate Céline Larrousse, both of France.

Yeah, looks better. ;)

And now, the next round, the next chapter of the Asian tour, at a track where A1 GP was supposed to race. After that fell through and a one-make/touring car race was held instead, the track remained dormant - to the point the pit stops were used for parking. Until the GT300 World Series arrived.

ROUND 2: STREETS OF TANGERANG, INDONESIA / LIPPO VILLAGE INTERNATIONAL FORMULA CIRCUIT

(FL timing are apparoximated. The only event to run on this track were one-make/cup/touring cars after the A1 GP race didn't happen. Assume the GT300 cars are 40 seconds faster than those one-make cars)

The Grand Honshu Hondas might have won the pole, but the Tengu BRZ strike back for the race after they gained advantage after the driver change pitstop. We don't know how the Porsche Team Australia car went from 11th in qualifying to 3rd in race. ROTR goes to the Renault drivers - seriously, from second to ninth?

And the GT300 World Series goes to...

ROUND 3: STREETS OF HONG KONG / AVENUE OF STARS CIRCUIT
(I coined the latter name so that it sounds formal; then again, the circuit in GT4 passes the Avenue of Stars)

Whew...my guys may be no great shakes in qualifying but at least when Murphy doesn't intrude, they're consistent.

Interesting they qualify pretty much right next to each other. I take this as them being a very solid, closely-coordinated outfit, it's just a little too bad we're not all that fast in the grand scheme of things...
Some say he plans to put an S921 on the Goodwood 2012 run, and that he DOES know what Deletraz is doing.

Hey guys,

I added Flying Ginger's missing entry. Also, this series is not dead, so I present you: DOUBLE EUROPEAN BARRAGE! (And the tracks in question are presently defunct. How the management manages to speak to the Birmingham government AND reviving the Valencia street circuit at the same time is a mystery. :P)

We're fighting, and that still makes me proud. Those qualifying and finishing positions are better than I'd hoped.

Come on, guys! Just a little bit more!

Notes on Championship Decider
Porsche Australia must finish in Top 3 ahead of Tengu Subaru and Toyota Hybrid to win championship; they may, however, finish fourth, fifth, or sixth, as long as their championship rivals don't win the race. If Porsche finishes 3rd and Tengu Subaru finishes second, or Porsche finishes fourth and Toyota wins the race, a tie is established; tiebreaker shall be decided at GT300-WS Management's discretion. (My calculation may be wrong...)

See you at Route 11! :)

Awwww, just locked out of the championship chase. Still though, at least I had a good streak going there.
Some say he plans to put an S921 on the Goodwood 2012 run, and that he DOES know what Deletraz is doing.
All we know is...he's called Perry McCarthy!

...we'll never see an S921 at Goodwood, will we?
