Race - Great Britain

Thierry Boutsen takes Williams first win of the season in a chaotic British grand prix, after the first four cars into turn one all ended up in the wall, and long time leader Nigel Mansell was pitched into the wall five laps from home by a suspension failure. Mika Hakkinen brought his McLaren home in second just 3 seconds behind Boutsen with Ivan Capelli scoring Minardi's first podium of the year. Eric Bernard came home fourth for the unlucky Dallara, who at least got some points out of the race. JJ Lehto benefited from the attrition to score Lola two valuable points which will drag them out of pre-qualifying for the second half of the season. Bernd Schneider also did well on his Arrows debut to keep it on the road, and just held off Danielsson for the last point.

And there goes our chance to break into the top 4.

However, reflecting on the positives, we would like to promote Bernard to the 2nd Dallara seat for the rest of the season as a reward for several good performances. (Any extra money for it would be welcome but we will do this even if there isnt). On his return from injuiry, Brundle will be on testing duties.

And a large reliability test to stop this happening again.

Neat!

So... Can I drop my engine supplier, pay the difference of 1 million and sign up with Ford? They can supply anyone with the HB 3.5, so it is nothing big.
If yes, then bye-bye Ilmor, welcome Ford and a GRIP upgrade please, large. (Is it 1 million or 2 millions?)

As for drivers, I'd like to drop all 3 of my current drivers, offering Gugelmin to be my TD for no money, but having his sponsors on the car.
I offer 300k to Eddie Cheever to drive the 1st car.
For the 2nd race seat, Christian Fittipaldi is offered 200k.

I know it's far too early, but any chance i'd be able to reserve Simtek for 1994?

I'd have asked about Andrea Moda, but you'll be treating them as a continuation of Coloni I imagine, even if the FIA believed otherwise.

Qualifying - Hungary

After one of the closest qualifying sessions in a long time, Jean Alesi beat coutryman Alain Prost to pole by just 8 thousandths of a second, with Gerhard Berger in third only 6 hundredths from pole. Johnny Herbert will complete the second row in the second Ferrari. Nelson Piquet was the lead Williams in fifth and Nigel Mansell's Dallara will start sixth. At the back, Gregor Foitek failed to qualify his Onyx and (more surprisingly) Bernd Schneider also missed the cut in the Arrows.

Race-Hungary

Jean Alesi drove a brilliant race, with a lights to flag victory, which was made easier when his closest challenger Alain Prost was wiped out by Nelson Piquet soon after his first pit stop. Gerhard Berger was a solid second and Roberto Moreno drove a fantastic race to hold off Hakkinen & Boutsen for Jordan's first ever podium. The final point went to Pierluigi Martini in the Tyrrell.

15th and 17th! Is that enough to elevate Life above the relegation spots?

Yay, Cheever was on par with cars getting in the race. Go Eddie!

Must be. 3 teams have yet to get in a race.
Currently, Coloni has a 16th in PQ, Leyton has just got its best result with 10th in PQ and also, there is Osella with 7th in PQ.
I believe you also are in front of AGS.

Yeah, with Leyton House I must monitor things like these if I want to continue.
