Quinn Markus wrote:Marky Howard Report

Marky Howard had a brake failure on lap 37 on the braking zone of 1st corner. He completly lost his brakes, accross the gravel trap and hit the tire barrier at 265 km/h, head-on. Marshalls and doctors found him unconcius on site, and within 10 minutes he was lifted to the helicopter to the hospital. His injuries are 3 broken ribs, a stiff neck, broken feet, and broken both ankles. It is sure he won't able to take his driving duty for quite a time

Highlights

Injury Report:
- Marky Howard is injured for the rest of the season. Rockets to Russia must nominate a replacement for him, or can choose to run one car only.

Penalties Report:
On a note since the next race is on Pergusa which is oval, ballast penalties are not possible over the concern of speed difference. Hence the penalties listed here will be in effect for round 9, Oulton Park.

- Sam Winton, tooking out Archibald March which could be avoided. 30 kg ballast.
- W.A. Stokins, hitting Mark Albertson for no reason as onboard video proved that Albertson was still going in straight line. 27 kg ballast.
- Rafael Modena, coming back to the track a lap down in a dangerous way. 30 kg ballast.
- Satoru Kagawa, start incident. 16 kg ballast.
- Cameron Maroon, start incident. 16 kg ballast.

Added.

I'll try to push 37 cars fit to Pergusa. Having 2 cars DNQ for this race doesn't feel right to me ;)

Also, if the drivers listed on the penalty for round 9 do another penalty move, he/she will get a race ban and 1 race 20 kg ballast when returned
