Alternate did not finish dq

In this championship when you don't finish a race, that is your season over, examples are max Chilton being the only eligible driver to score points at the end of 2013. Geddit?

Well for 1950 the results look like this

And where are the Indy 500 entrants? Or does a did-not-enter also get you knocked out of the championship? In which case, does not entering the Indy 500 also stop your run of being eligible?

I'm not counting the Indy 500 as regular entrants did not participate, a did not enter does get you knocked out but as I'm not counting the Indy 500.

What about a driver who finishes but is disqualified (I assume he still loses the points either way)?

I am thinking of dq them from the whole championship, Riccardo in 2014 does not matter as he retires in sepang anyway
