A continuity note:

Mclaren would probably not be using the MP4-12C in 2017, since they have since switched to the 650S GT3 for 2015 onwards in real life:

http://jalopnik.com/the-650s-gt3-is-mclarens-sinister-lightweight-hardcore-1596909845

If possible, can someone switch the Mclaren cars, and determine whether or not the stats are changed?

This has been quite inactive over the last few weeks, but it's not dead, and I'm planning to start this series in early October. So please finalize your driver lineups until Sunday, 28th September, 10 PM CEST.

Cars with an uncomplete driver lineup by that time will be excluded from the 12 Hours of Le Castellet.

If I overlooked a request for a real-life driver, please remind me about that here in the thread. I'm sorry about the slightly chaotic management of the series so far. I know that the first post in this thread is real mess, and I'm going to sort that out as well over the next days.

Also, the idea that you have to pay for repairing your car has been scrapped for this season. You might want to adjust your lineup, since that means that you don't need to have financial reserves for eventual repair costs.

ZimSport has a bit to do.

For the third LMP2 seat:
DRIVER NAME: JP Laurent
DRIVER NATIONALITY: American
QUALIFYING DRIVER (yes/no): No
DRIVER TIER: Silver

And for our Le Mans GT entry:

CAR: 2016 SRT Viper
NUMBER: 62

DRIVER NAME: Frank Zimmer
DRIVER NATIONALITY: AUS
QUALIFYING DRIVER (yes/no): Yes
DRIVER TIER: Platinum

DRIVER NAME: Henrik Dehn
DRIVER NATIONALITY: DEN
QUALIFYING DRIVER (yes/no): No
DRIVER TIER: Silver

For the third seat, I'd like to see if Douglas Mann wants to drive.

Given there's suddenly no need anymore for pay-drivers at NISMO, we'd dearly like Benoit Treluyer to return and slot into the lead car alongside long-standing team-mate Andre Lotterer. (He's a platinum level driver obviously!)

This means Dennis Mignolet will now become lead driver of the #23 alongside KazNak, but as for the third seat in that #23 car...we're now working on a solution. We will get back to you on that soon...

With my team not having any drivers to speak of at the moment, I'd like to make offers to Michael Ammermuller and Gary Paffett to be the lead drivers of both of our LMP2 cars, if that is allowed. I'd also like to announce that we'd like to bring back 59-year-old Max von Hegel from retirement to drive in the second car on a part-time basis.

Good news for some of the teams who had to run part-time schedules due to entry limitations - the withdrawals of Markus Mk. Racing and Renntechnologie AG mean that ICE-3, Lotto and the first Valerian car can run the full season, and the second Tassie and the second Valerian car can run for the full season apart from Silverstone.

now, for some RL drivers:
Davide Rigon accepts the ICE-3 offer.
Wittmann's decision TBA.
Romain Grosjean declines the Valerian offer.
Nick Heidfeld accepts the Hunter Autosports offer.
Benoit Tréluyer accepts the NISMO offer.
Kevin Giovesi accepts the Lotto Racing offer.
Michael Ammermüller accepts the Boxtel offer.
Paffet's decision TBA.
Rubens Barrichello accepts the Henri offer for Le Mans only.
Sam Bird accepts the Henri offer for the remaining season.

Porsche by Best In The World™ would like to offer Martin Tomczyk (platinum) a ACO Le Mans Cup full-time drive in the #6 car (taking Li Qi's place). Should he reject that offer, we'd like to offer it to Marc Lieb, and after that to Timo Scheider (both platinum as well).

Edit: Furthermore, Porsche by Best In The World™ also confirms that Ashley Cassidy will take the place of Yu Hao in the 6 Hours of Silverstone.

Marco Wittmann will compete in round 1, 4 and 10 due to his DTM schedule.
ICE-3 Racing will offer a contract to Lucas Ordoñez (SPA - RL Tier, probably gold) to run 7 rounds (2 - 3 and 5 to 9).
Note : Davide Rigon will be the qualifying driver when Wittmann isn't in the squad. If it's not possible to have two different qualifying drivers, then it will be Rigon for all the rounds.
