Am I crazy?? Probably yes, for introducing YET another series in an already crowded environment, but I've been wanting to do this for a long time (introducing a Japanese championship), I'll be doing this in-between F1RWRS seasons and this series will have four main purposes:

- That people on F1RWRS waiting list dip their toes in the water as to how F1RWRS works, but in a much more simplified way
- That this series winners get a few extra credits when starting in F1RWRS when their turn comes
- To provide another source of Reject License criteria
- From time to time, try out new possible F1RWRS rules

HOW IT WORKS

Series will be run in GP2 (to serve purpose no.1); Races will be around 160 km in lenght with an 8 race calendar (7 races in Japan, and 1 out of Japan). No weather will be applied. All races will be run with one mandatory pitstop for refuelling and tyre change.
There'll be a limit of 14 teams, with people on F1RWRS waiting list getting priority for an entry. If any entries are vacant after a mercy period, then I'll open up entries to everybody else; the list is as it follows as of today:

THE DRIVERS

Any driver with less than 8 F1RWRS race entries may be entered to this series. There'll be a small (but not much) difference in treatment between already existing drivers and new drivers created for this series; I'll give each team owner a number of points to be distributed between each driver. Number of points to be distributed will be RNG with a + or - quantity decided by me depending on drivers success (a new driver will not get + or - points). Owners can decide how to distribute the drivers abilities along 4 areas: Qualifying Speed (How fast the driver is in Qualifying), Race Speed (How fast the driver is in Race), Regularity (How regular the driver is between sessions) and Mechanical Simpathy (How well the driver treats its machine). Also, team owners will be able to decide a "Home race", in this race, drivers will be given a boost in Pace, but will reduce the Mechanical Simpathy and Regularity in a try to please sponsors and team bosses.
Every team will be able to race up to 4 different drivers per season, with one driver change per car (Injuries and Bans don't apply)

THE CARS

Team owners will be able to decide between three different Chassis, three different Engines and three different Tyres. I will make the stats for these when the season is closer to start. (A bit before F1RWRS season ends)

THE CALENDAR

Not decided yet; but it will include: Okayama (TI Circuit), Autopolis, Suzuka, Fuji, Sugo, Motegi (Road), Motegi (Oval) and one yet to be decided track in an eastern Asia country or Australia. I'm open to suggestions.

Fastest Lap - 10

PRIZES

Top 5 Championship drivers receive a Reject License (valid for the following two seasons, that'd be 2017 and 2018 for the 2016/2017 championship)
Top 3 Teams will receive, when they get a F1RWRS entry a boost in credits
1st - 100 Credits
2nd - 50 Credits
3rd - 25 Credits

These credits are accumulative up to 3 different times.

So, I'm opening the entry list right now and giving a mercy period for people on F1RWRS waiting list until 1st January 2014. If any free entries after that, I'll open up the entries to everyone else. Any questions, please ask!

Sorry, but I won't be taking reservations on this one; When the grace period ends, I will open up a sign up period and those applying for an entry, I will raffle the rest of entries; So people outside of the waiting list yes, you can "apply" for an entry but it doesn't mean you will get your team. After the high demand of teams I have decided to expand the entry list to 17 teams (absolutely no more). Waiting list team owners will be the ones skipping Pre-Q for the whole season, so 2 teams should pass Pre-Q every weekend using F1RWRS system (combined times). Extra entries (for those aside waiting list) will still be raffled.

Just copying this over from the classifieds thread, for those team owners looking for drivers for their teams:

I have a number of drivers interested in seats:

From F1RDS, race-winner Stan Frankham, and if This allows it, "the best in the wild, wild west" Chuck Barrett are both available for drives.

From F3RWRS, the man that metals manufacturing giant Lampre has pinned it's hopes on (and thus comes with significant financial backing) race-winner Roberto Dinella.

And from IFRC, journeyman Josh Carlisle who has a decent amount of F2RWRS experience, and shady Shannon Group's main protagonist and the only Irishman in RWRS-affiliated single seaters, Connor O'Heagan!
