Word Association Thread V-This Time It's Personal!

Post by pasta_maldonado »

It's time! With the off-season brings F1 Deprivation, hiding in those Christmas Crackers, lurking in the seams of those jumpers, lurking in the dark, frosty nights, and generally being a nuisance. To stave off this infliction, the Word Association Game has been beaten a few times with an old stick, and is back for the fifth time! Except this time, of course, it's personal.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ, ALL OF YOU

This thread causes controversy. Whilst I understand this controversy, I also see why people like it, and I think we should have it. However we can all agree that this thread gets manic at times. This is why Ive devised a set of rules to help the thread regulate itself:

1) Posts without thought, for post count inflation purposes, will caused the thread to be LOCKED
2) Obviously, anything SERIOUSLY offensive (i.e. Hate, flame wars, SERIOUS insults towards other members) will cause this thread to be LOCKED
3) Users who post excessively (i.e. every 20 minutes) WILL cause the thread to be LOCKED
4) Any intentional double posting WILL cause the thread to be LOCKED
5) Any Association that is not initially clear needs a bit of an explanation to help people out (I wont be too harsh here, but anything thats clearly stupid will cause the thread to be LOCKED)

I will be the judge on what breaks these rules or not. I won't be harsh, but anything that CLEARLY goes against the rules will cause the thread to be locked.

The first 3 times the thread is locked it will be down for roughly a day, based on GMT. Any further lockings will add another 24 hours to the lock time.

If I have to call for the thread to be locked more than 10 times before the season begins, then the game is OVER

With that out of the way, let's begin!

Just a general rule, similar to Rule 5. Don't post anything just for the sake of it, to boost your post count. To be honest, if you think what you're going to say can be viewed as posting for the sake of it, it probably is.

I'm not sure I understand this. You're saying some people actually care about post count?

Not so much for the actual numbers, bt some people have been known to post JUST for the sake of posting.

Anyway, on with the word association!

What did she do in her past life to deserve this?

"Domination" and "Germany" next to each other in the Word Association thread? My contribution is therefore...
