One of the Premier F3 races in the world comes to the PMMF! Taking place on the same weekend as the F1RWRS race at the guia ciruit, it is a One-Off event for F3RWRS and F1RDS teams and drivers to show off the top talents of the future! And now for a simple FAQ to sum up what will be going on.

Who will be entered into this NC Race?

Teams that are in the top 8 of the F3RWRS and F1RDS Team's Championship after the Spa SuperPrix get an automatic invitation to the race, bringing two cars to make a 32 car grid. If a user gets two invites, they must surrender one of the entries to the ninth place user/team in that series. (Say the user surrenders the F3R entry, the team in 9th gets the entry). The user who has then been granted the entry can choose to bring their F3R/F1RD team or bring a Asian Wild-Card team. If they bring a Wild-Card team, they are allowed to bring either one or two cars. If a team gets given gets given a second entry after already having a entry, the entry is then given to the next team/user in that championship.

F3RWRS Standings: http://formularejects.com/wiki/2016_Formula_3_Rejects_World_Race_Series_season

F1RDS Standings: http://formularejects.com/wiki/2016_F1_Rejects_Development_Series_season

What drivers are allowed to enter?

A driver can only be eligible if they have never raced in the F1RWRS or F1 (non-championship races don't count), have started less than ten (10) F2RWRS races. (Rule 1.2.4 for F3RWRS without the age limit, so IFRC drivers among others can be entered)

I will be creating the stats for each driver based on their track record in the PMMF.

What are the technical regulations?

The teams will be supplied with a spec-chassis, but given a choice of three engines. Each engine has the same power/weight ratio, but have different power, weight, and reliability stats. The most powerful engine is the heaviest, and is most prone to grenading, and the least powerful engine is the lightest, and probably wont explode, and then there's the one in-between. For reference, the middle engine has 250 hp and the car will weigh 600 kilos.

Proper details on who makes the chassis, engines will come at a later time.

How will you run the race and what is the race format?

The race will be run using the 2007 F3 Euroseries mod for GTR2. The mod is a conversion of a collection of skins for the rF3 which was a car that came with rFactor. There will be one practice session of 45 minutes, two qualifying sessions of 20 minutes each, then a 25 lap race at the Guia Circuit.

A template will be released after the Spa SuperPrix once the initial entries are invited.

If you got any more questions, don't be afraid to ask. See you in Macau!

So last years F1RDS champ will not get a race if I end up 9th and there is no double users? How about Top 7 with two wildcards ;)

Plus Junior is the correct British spelling. Juniour is obsolete and has been for some time...

Already told you my answer in the IRC but for everyone else..

Image

My ruling on the drivers is intentionally vague so that teams could bring in other stand-out talents from say, IFRC, GTR, Indycar, if one of their normal drivers isn't too hot later on in the season.

I love how technically "Junior" and "Masters" technically makes this the first (?) series with a paradox in its name ;)

Adding another incentive:

The Winning TEAM for the race gets a automatic invitation to next year's running of the Junior Masters. And because of that, the 8th place teams in each series next season will only be able to bring one car unless the Auto-Invite team earned additional invites throughout 2017.

I can already announce that Best In The World™ is looking to get Koyomi Setou and Anita Horford drives with teams eligible to enter the Junior Masters.

Independent thereof, Kenan Ardaoglu is considering taking part in the event if a good offer comes along.

And in other news...

The driver that wins this race will be rewarded with a private test in a Aeroracing Engineering F1RWRS race car within the next year. There are five and three races left before the points cutoff for the F3RWRS and F1RDS respectively, and with the pace that the season is going I recommend that team owners begin to think of their driver plans for this race. Remember, this race uses the F3RWRS driver requirement rule (Rule 1.2.4, without the age limit so there is some freedom in who you can bring to Macau.

From what I understand, Alitalia is now a mathematical certainty to be here based on their F1RDS position (1st, 97 points ahead of 9th). In that case, we already nominate our drivers; Salvatore Miccoli & Nino Barlini (if approved by Ataxia).

Three teams have already guaranteed their entry for the Macau Junior Masters, via the F1RDS. Those teams can now accept or decline the entry and designate their drivers. Details on the teams confirmed at this point are on this spreadsheet.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AixYE-vmndYOdEhrWjF2SU01SDRiRDkyMkJQRDR4dGc&usp=sharing

If you are confirming you accept the invite, use this guide to confirm your numbers and drivers. The numbers chosen must be between 0 and 99, the number 1 is not available. Stealing traditional numbers from teams will not be tolerated.

Team Name: Team Name Goes Here (Nation)
Driver 1 - Car X : Driver Name Goes Here
Driver 2 - Car Y: Driver Name Goes Here Too

In terms of the engines, nothing has changed, stats will be released once all entries are confirmed, but they can be rebranded based on actual OEMs each Engine Maker worked with in real life. If you got a problem with that there is a fourth engine available, made by Lancia and can be rebranded as a Holden, that has the equivalent to the dreaded 32000 Rel of F1RWRS. The rebrands are as follows:

Elan Power Products (Elan) - Ford, Panoz

Advanced Engine Resarch (AER) - Mazda, MG, Renault

Oreca - Skoda, Lada, Nissan

I'm actually still not sure who to enter yet. I'll reward the best of my young guns, and I'm not sure who that'll be just yet. I plan to announce drivers closer to the date. But I am accepting my invite already. We will be using AER-Renault powerplants.

Apologies for double posting, but if anyone needs help with their liveries, I can help. For those willing enough to give livery design a go, it's a really really simple template, and I can give you some help and advice with that. I do recommend you have a go first, it's a lot easier than some of you might think. You don't need photoshop either - Paint.Net will do, with the .psd plugin, and best of all it's completely free!.

If you're really struggling, I can do it for you, however I do have a lot to do right now so may not be able to get it done in time.

Good luck! :)

With the F1RDS finishing up their Spa SuperPrix races, the 8 teams that have been invited have been finalised.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AixYE-vmndYOdEhrWjF2SU01SDRiRDkyMkJQRDR4dGc&usp=sharing

To confirm your entry, use this neat guide to confirm to me your intentions.

Team Name: Team Name Goes Here (Nation)
Driver 1 - Car X : Driver Name Goes Here
Driver 2 - Car Y: Driver Name Goes Here Too

The engine names and rebadging information is a few posts above, if you want to make your intention known on what engine you want. Once the F3RWRS entries are invited, you can then choose which engine you want to have.

You realise that having him signed him up at Octan means you are contractually required to ask permission every time you want to run him somewhere else, right? Yes, you might own the driver, but the contractual conditions were clear. To get permission, all you needed to do was simply ask (and if it wouldn't clash with the calendar, you would always get permission)
This didn't happen here. This didn't happen in F3RWRS. That's an obvious breach of contract. He will not be dropped from the program yet, because we are not inhuman, and i assume you probably forgot about the contractual clauses. And because i didn't complain at the F3RWRS situation, so you probably assumed this was fine by me. It actually was fine by me, but next time, just ask me, okay? ;)

2016 Macau Junior Masters: F3RWRS + F1RDS Invites

Post by RealRacingRoots »

Two F3RWRS races at Spa remain from all of the initial 16 invites being sent out, although Jones and Prospec have already done more than enough to confirm their Invite to Macau. The google doc below has the information on who is getting invited and who is on the inside hoping for users to get multiple invites.

To confirm your entry, use this neat guide to confirm to me your intentions.

Team Name: Team Name Goes Here (Nation)
Driver 1 - Car X : Driver Name Goes Here
Driver 2 - Car Y: Driver Name Goes Here Too

Tristan and Shizuka haven't yet confirmed their invite from their F1RDS invite, although Tristan has confirmed he's waiting for ZombieKart to be invited.
