If you could do the liveries for my entries would that be great. I lack the knowledge and skills to do them myself.

I'd like to join the queue, everything above paint is too hard for me.

I already did the 15 truck and started in the Twinings trucks.

Going to be honest, when I saw Autolite as the primary sponsor for the 15 car, and that the team name was "Gotham Racing", I instinctively just made the truck solid black. :X

I'm afraid that I no longer wish to take part in your series and I request that my team is removed from the roster.

After organizing my own drivers I have come to the conclusion that I should stay with 3 drivers for now.

Please remove my entry as soon as you can. If I want to do an oval series again i'll probaly join Cynon's canonicity.

Thank you and sorry for the last minute change.

That's fine, don't worry about it. I'd only be upset if your truck was already made and ready to go, and even then I wouldn't be that upset.

That does open a space in the field.

Some livery previews:

The 18 is a slightly lighter gray than the 17.

Livery deadline extended to the 12th because I haven't gotten too many of them done.

I am currently working on the 42 truck, which despite the sponsors... is a blue truck. :o

A late shakeup of sponsors means Antonio Delvecchio's team's entry has been changed to EnerG IBR. Here's a look at his ride for the upcoming season;

I put some thin gray stripes on the 42. It doesn't look bad, just kind of strange, like Jim Guthrie's blue McDonalds car from 1996...

Shenanigans of epic proportions should be expected. :D

Edit: Adelaide has been run and won. As I expected, it was hilariously farcical. The race is on YouTube.

Cynon, your pronunciation for Antonio Delvecchio was a tiny bit off. In Italian, double C is not pronounced as "ch", but rather something that sounds pretty much the same as "key".

An interesting first race though. I wait eagerly for the day a DQ'd car that refuses to stop puts the race leader out of the race...

Autosport wrote:Davies slams "farcical" Rejectrucks race
Many teams had a hard time in the very first Rejectrucks Super Series race in Adelaide. One of which was one of the series favourites - the Twinings Davies Racing Team entry. DRT has a large amount of success in various full-body series, including NASCAR and RTCC, bringing over several experienced crew members as well as star NASCAR cup driver Manny Geinhart Jr., to partner the inexperienced but promising Sandra Cessler. However, things did not go anywhere near well. Both drivers struggled to get the most out of their Toyota Tacoma's, and qualified mid-pack.

Geinhart's race would be effectively over before it began, as the #17 truck developed a problem with the battery on the warm-up lap, forcing Geinhart to pit to fix it. He would later be caught up in a big crash while leaving the pits with Rick Douglais Jr., which Geinhart would admit he was at fault for. Cessler's day would not go much better. The youngster sought merely to gain experience, both on road courses and with her truck, but suffered heavy damage on the first lap in a collision between herself, Lance Brown and Jayleen Mori.

Both trucks were later among those disqualified from the race due to pit infringements - the exact cause of which is still unknown.

After the race, James Davies gave the following interview:

"This was a joke. An utter joke. I can't believe the race went this badly. I mean, we knew from practice we weren't going to have a great day, we had a lot of problems finding the right setup. But what happened out there today... it was nothing short of farcical. The problem with Manny at the start, that was our bad. The battery was faulty, which sucks for him, but it's just one of those deals. But everything else was just madness. The wreck with Sandra and that Mori kid... I got no idea what the hell that guy was thinking. He just pulled over on Lance Brown, and there was nothing Sandra could do about that. Her truck was trashed because some stupid kid was in over his head. Then Manny made a mistake leaving the pits, went across Douglais' nose and caused a wreck. Then to top it all off we get disqualified for pitlane misconduct of some kind, which is utter crap. We didn't do a damn thing wrong in the pits, so either the stewards have faulty equipment or were drunk out of their minds... I'm guessing the latter."

The next Rejectrucks Super Series race will take place at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, supporting the IFRC's Round of Mexico on April 16.

Mexico will likely be run and broadcast when I get home (so, about 90 minutes after this post was made). It might be a shorter race than Adelaide, and with (in all likelihood) far less shenanigans. Make sure all driver changes are on the Wiki page.

There is a slight possibility that Silvia Renaldi might cameo in this race (IFRC is in Mexico in the same weekend), but probably not. Also, I never did get a livery done for the Jefferson GP trucks (I'll see what I can do about that for race 2), and I'll make sure to post the championship standings, because they were done in RPM.

I'm going to try and do a race every Tuesday night. :D
