JLD will sign 17 year old hotshot rookie Daniel Melrose in the #73 for next year. For the other car, we will launch bids for Oriol Servia, Sebastien Bourdais and Tom Douglas, in that order.

For the High Speed Ring round, both Generic and Tenpecost decided not to race. Instead, we will give the drive to Indonesian Petrus Handoyo (#500) and Australian Mauricce Markus (#505). James Generic and Ronald Tenpecost will remain for Caraxl Racing for next season

For the Non championship High Speed Ring round, MBR would like to run 5 cars for Donelly, Douglais, Carpentier, Renales and for Jam van der Maeyede. Seen as this is a NC race this shouldn't cause any problems ;)

For NC round (as I assume I'll be back there) Hakkinen will be replaced by Keiko Ihara, as I previously said. I have a plan to have her alternate with Pedro Diniz next season if I get the spot.

Alden will stay. :)W

Alstom IBR will stick to the 3 car lineup, as follows;

#1 Frederic-Maxime Voeckler
#2 Jack Christopherson
#4 Collin Pratchett (pending approval by tristan1117)

Also, we would like to reming everybody (especially a certain team...) that as Servia holds #1 for next season, you CANNOT USE #0

Joey Alliot is a free agent after underperforming this year with Alstom IBR. He would really like a drive for next season so he doesn't have to deliver pizzas or take some other dead end job.

He did nearly win a ton of times in Prost GP, however, the car kept failing him.

autosport.com wrote:Restov to withdraw from AltCart
Following the end to the 2002 AltCart season, the underachieving Restov Racing have announced their decision to withdraw from the series, amid rumours of Edward Restov's failing health and a lack of interest in the predominately American Cart scene.

The team started the season with fairly high expectations following their moderately successful season in the series' predecessor, ProstGP. However, highly-rated rookies Tim Horan and Paul Eckeridge failed to deliver at the start of the season, and although they began to up their game as the season went on, the teams motivation spiralled downwards.

"For sure, we felt that for the money being thrown at it, the team just wasn't competitive enough," commented the teams Operations Director, Alexi Smirnov. "Here at Gazprom Restov Racing, we have high goals, and the team was nowhere near achieving these goals. For our team to be a frontrunner, we'd have to wait a good 10 to 15 years, and no commercial partner would put up with 10 to 15 years of being associated with mediocrity. Gazprom Restov Racing might be a large motorsport conglomerate, but that doesn't mean we can afford to make heavy losses in a financially unviable sector."

Following the teams decision to withdraw, Eckeridge has been released from his Restov contract, while the team have kept Horan on their payroll, despite apparently having no plans to return to this side of the Atlantic in the near future.

Long story short, Eckeridge is free if for some mad reason you want him, and I will allow for Horan to join another team, but we will want Gazprom and Restov logo's on the car if you do nab him.

The Genki crew is not showing up for the non-championship race. It's not due to lack of funds, but an uncompetitive engine that has left Genki as middling at best. Returning for next season.

The only secure entries for this non-championship race are my team and those on the waiting list, other than that it's open to anyone. Same rules as normal, 36 maximum cars on the list, max of 2 cars per team. You can use numbers 2-999, numbers 1 and 0 are reserved for Stramala:

Code: Select all

Team name:
Team: Nationality:
Chassis:
Engine:
Tyres:

Driver 1 name:
Driver 1 Nationality:
Number:

Repeat if you want a 2 car team of course.

Well,i will probably not do a comeback for 2003 as i keep forgetting about this, but still interested in entering the 500, with the same cars as i started the season. I need confirmation if Van Gottorp wants to return for this race or not. If he's not interested, i will go for a real-life driver and turn to my DTM team for Vanina Ickx.
