Michael Bright Racing will of course enter the NC round, with the same chassis as the regular season. Brendon Cassidy Jr will drive the #3 and Geoff Donnelly the #7.

1) When I originally made the series, I thought that it would make most realistic if 2002 was a big growth year for CART and that it would "take over" the IRL for 2003 and have the Indianapolis 500. However me, Salamander and Klon now agree that it would be best for the canon if the American racing split never happened (I think because it would make the F1RWRS-F1 split look silly), so what do we we do about no Indy in 2002? And now that this is meant to be the one American series, there is the additional problem of all major teams like Ganassi and Newman/Haas being gone.
2) It would make my horrendous job at making driver stats a bit less embarrasing, so we don't have to say that Buddy Rice challenging for the title in a year other than 2004 is canon.

Anyway, I oppose making this non-canon (partly because it'd require me to rewrite all of my driver and team profiles involved in this), although I don't entirely disagree on the arguments supporting such an action.
