Germany's dominance of the year has been startling hasn't it. I wonder what the table would look like if you including the double podiums scored by Germany in Monaco India and Abu Dhabi.

BTW how on earth did Brazil come 3rd in Bahrain when no Brazilians finished in the top 10?

1983: France
1984: France
1985: France
1986: Brazil
1987: Brazil
1988: Brazil!!
1989: France
1990: Brazil

1992: Britain
1993: Britain
1994: Britain
1995: Britain ((Hill has lots of back-up in these mid-90s years....)
1996: Britain
1997 - 2004: all Germany (yes I think Michael, Ralf and Frentzen combined will overcome Hakkinen in 98 and 99)
2005: Spain
2006: Germany
2007: Finland (Kovalainen is best placed to help any of the four championship contenders)
2008: Think that could be Finland again as Britain and Brazil have little support
2009: Britain
2010: Britain (the only nation with two of the big 5)
2011: Germany
2012: Germany
2013: Germany

The 2014 season of the Jochen Rindt Nations Cup is about to start, but not in the format that you would think. The rules being that only 2 drivers will be allowed to score for that nation, not as many as you want for 1950-1983. This will start in 1996 where the order will start. So this will be the entry list for the 2014 season.

Germany - Vettel, Rosberg, Hulkenberg, Sutil
Spain - Alonso
Australia - Ricciardo
UK - Hamilton, Button, Chilton
Finland - Raikkonen, Bottas
France - Grosjean, Vergne, Bianchi
Brazil - Massa
Mexico - Gutierrez, Perez
Venezuela - Maldonado
Denmark - Magnussen
Russia - Kvyat
Japan - Kobayashi
Sweden - Ericsson
