Alstom GPE are expanding to a two car team, with Jérémy-Étienne Voeckler will drive the #4 car. I will send a livery for this car soon.

Jesus Stramala, do you go through the French book of baby names for your Voecklers?

Next one should be called Jean-Marie, and be of confused gender, like Gio/Gia van Dycke, and be named in honour of M. Le Pen...

I guess you could say I went through Ligue de Football Professionnel's player registration list. And combined it with France having a love affair with double-barrelled forenames.

Autosport wrote:Kun Group buys CART, merges with Prost GP
The Kun Group, run by former racing driver Marcus Kun, has bought CART (Championship Auto Racing Teams) after the organization filed bankruptcy as the result of the loss of it's title sponser FedEx and the lawsuit over the Firestone Firehawk 600. Kun has also announced that the series will merge with his own Prost GP series and has managed to secure title sponsorship from DHL, one of FedEx's competitors.

"We will no longer be using the AP03 chassis. The DHL Championship Series will use the same kind of cars that CART is using already, but since it's lost so many teams to Tony George's pussy league, most of the Prost GP teams will likely take their place."
This is not final, if people don't like this idea then I won't use it ;)

Anyway, how would an Alternate CART series, starting from 2002 sound to you all? Basic rules:

  • The upgrade system will have a reform*.
  • No driver upgrades, teams could choose between fictional or real drivers.
  • All the teams that currently have a Prost GP team would get a CART team automatically.
  • Teams would have a choice in different chassis.

*Reform being code for "Copying Pasta_maldonado's rFaF1 upgrade system".

And no, this is not April Fools. :P
