Well, looks like Allen has dissapeared from the planet. I've given him enough time. Considering it is unlikely Kickert will go for Prost, there's no reason to hold Ron Mignolet back from making his debut. Whenever dates will clash with the real F3000 season, Dennis Mignolet will drive the car himself.

As will Plinio Vida, who is also bringing sponsorship form Brazil.

Alden and Vans also looking for the Stewart seat. Alden has backing from Motorola and Vans has backing from Orange Telecom. ;)

F1RGP2C News Service Online wrote:Reiko Megumi to retire from F1RGP2C

Reiko Megumi today has announced that she will retire from F1RGP2C "with immediate effect". The Japanese female driver, who has obtained the nickname "Megumi the Menace" because of her antics during her F1RGP2C career retired after she "could not agree on deal with various teams", in a official statement. Competing full time in 1995 (except for the last race) and 1997 as well as in part-time (non-European races) in 1996, her best finish was 4th in the controversial 1995 Pacific GP, albeit as a last-minute driver, replacing Dennis Mignolet, after her seat was given to Douglas Mann, who left Williams over reliability problems.

Hermann Mann's conflict of interest?

Hermann Mann's annoucement of "a new touring car series" - reportedly the RTCC - a breakaway to the BTCC - recently has resulted in a accusation of conflict of interest against the Williams co-shareholder. His intention to start the touring car series were announced recently and has caused criticism within the F1RGP2C paddock. Mann declined to comment.

I always wanted to post the news-stuff above. :)

The Irish Times wrote:Jeremy-Etienne Voeckler confirmed as Jordan's test driver

In a press release, the Irish F1 team announced that they have managed to sign experienced journeyman Jeremy-Etienne Voeckler. The 38 years old racing driver has driven in F1 before and was mainly hired to test the new N64-based simulation system which is supposed to help with setup work and testing new parts for F1 cars. "He is a man whom I had the pleasure of driving against a few times," explained von Gottorp, "and I think he can help us a lot in setting up our new "simulation technology". At least that's what those scientists call it."

Something just came into my minds. The wiki says that the series (originally supposed to) utilized a "alternate reality simulator". In the ponderbox for virtual series, I learned that the McAllisters are involved in Capricorn 1. A conspiracy, or what? :o

Alright everyone, I've finally begun work on the 1998 mod so if you all can fill the last few drives, that would be excellent. I still need confirmation for Stewart's lineup and Lola's second driver for 1998. I believe that is JeremyMcClean and Wafflecat.

If someone needs a test driver or a seat to fill, Francisco Remedios, Costarrican driver, is available for a place at F1RGP2C season.

Formula 3 Mexico (1990-1)
Formula Atlantic (1991-3)
Indy Lights (1994-5)
Formula Nippon (1996-7)
Bertrand Gachot, Pacific, Connew and Piercarlo Ghinzani's No.1 Fan

You can't do that. Statute of limitiations apply. Also, secondly, you can retcon character details (as I have done with driver profiles when they end up competing in canon series for years conflicting with their existing made-up history) but not results that affect everyone. What you're doing is retconing the entire fecking championship. So I'm undoing it as vandalism.

I feel like I should have a say on whether Anderson gets retroactively disqualified or not. And he isn't retroactively disqualified, so Stramala's edit should stand.

As said a whole lot earlier in the thread,Rick Douglais will drive the second Lola in 1998 alongside Poppy Whitechapel.
My friend's USB drive spoiled, spilled tea on her laptop and had a bird poo in her hand.

What did she do in her past life to deserve this?
