Lola will make an attempt to sign Giovanni Roda for the 1997 season to pair up with Poppy Whitechapel.

Last lineup left to be confirmed is Tyrrell. Shinji, get a move on! Also, I am planning to introduce a small feeder series run on GP1 with all the free agents and test drivers. If anyone wants to suggest some more drivers, cplesse feel free and they will be added to the series whenever I get around to making it.

I'd put the Austrian GP a bit earlier (around Germany, Hungary) and add Jerez to the season finale. Other than that, it seems good.

I was trying to find a spot to put Jerez but I wanted to leave the race count at 16. I could drop Hockenheim (no good races for the last three years) and replace it with the Nurburgring. Jerez would then go at the end of the year.

Why not have 17 races? (P.s. I would be fine having Nurburgring being the German GP.)

I would rather limit to 16 races so I don't have to switch out tracks midway through the year.

I automatically assumed it would become prost. Well, you can leave it as Ligier for 1997, to be turned into Prost for 1998.

I've updated the wiki page with the teams and drivers, but I've had to take a few educated guesses 9such as assuming Clint Mort is American) and had to leave a few things out (Such as Lola's engine supply). When you have time I'd reccomend you scan it for errors :)

Is this waiting for me? Apologies, you can just ditch my driver, and make Tyrrell up for grabs. I clearly have no dedication, but I don't want to slow down the process.

Guillaume Gauthier is interesting in taking over the Tyrrell seatholder position. If accepted, he is prepared to sign American rookie Lawrence Tucker, and Samael Meerwick.

Oh, and thanks a bunch. I was going to get around to that but I have been quite busy of late.

It appears that the full entry list has been completed. Test driver can still be signed (remember, you can only have one) but it is not mandatory to have one.

Tristan, for future reference, could you please check that you actually did the driver's results table on the wiki right before starting the constructors' table next time? There were at least half a dozen results that were in the wrong place and you added results for drivers that weren't even at certain races. Oh and there was also four drivers missing from the standings altogether (Which is now three since I fixed it with what stats I had available).

At least you managed to add all the points up correctly, which is more than what poor Pasta can manage half the time

This why I always update the results right after running each race in both of the series I run, so there isn't too much work in one go once the season has finished.

Too late, in my opinion, as Martin already drove in 1996 DOTD, unless you/Tristan wants to retcon it. :ugeek:

Too late, in my opinion, as Martin already drove in 1996 DOTD, unless you/Tristan wants to retcon it. :ugeek:

Jan van der Maeyede was wanted in the USA for evading speeding tickets, so raced under the false name Martin van der Maeyede to avoid any unwanted attention

He recently paid these fines so the problem has been sorted.

Is this the same reason why he is also racing under a different name in the Life GP Series?
Eurosport broadcast for the 1990 Mexican GP prequalifying:
"The Life, it looked very lifeless yet again... in fact Bruno did one, slow lap"

No, that's a different reason. Coming from the Netherlands, he has had several convictions for cannabis possesion in the UK and didn't want to frighten any team off or have any trouble at passport control.
