RTCC 2015 - Season over, Twinings champs
It's been a long 17 years for Herrmann Mann. He was last seen in 1998, screaming as he was lead away to his prison cell in Germany after being convicted for cannabis possesion. He claimed it was all the work of Jason Plato, who set him up with the weed during a party at Mann's home. Apparently, Herrmann Mann had called Plato 'a shite driver' who 'was the Deletraz of the BTCC'.
Hermann's series, the RTCC, was cancelled after just two meetings. Norwich Union Team Ultimate and Cave Johnson were crowned champions. The 90's BTCC cars Hermann had accumalated for his series were covered in tarpaulin and stored in a warehouse on the outskirts of Munich.
Anyway, it's been hard for Herrmann in prison. Unable to confide in Jagermeister, Herrmann used his time to make Formula One cars out of napkins. Herrmann applied for parole in 2005, but was denied it after he accidentally let slip that he fancied the prison warden's wife. In 2010, prison rules were relaxed, and Hermann was allowed to watch the TV for the first time since his imprinsonment. While searching for F1, he came across the F1RWRS, and was immediately hooked. He watched Gary Cameron take the ianugral title without a win. Nathaneal Spencer's title. The downfall of Calinetic. Pippa Mann take the title at the last race in 2012. A new rules package. CR's downfall. Jones leaving, then re-joining. The Rise of Mark Dagnall. The death of Dave McFaste. The birth of Tropico. The demise of Trueba. The introduction of the F2RWRS and the F3RWRS. Scuderia Alitalia's bid to be the greatest motorsport team of all. Herrmann saw it all. He also became a huge fan of Kay Lon, for some unfathomable reason. Then, in late 2014, just as he completed a 1:4 scale model of Mark Dagnall's DGN made of plastic cutlery, Herrmann was told he was about to be released.
And with that, the RTCC was re-born in the 21st century.
Yes, that's right, the RTCC is back, and it is now in the RWRS universe, so no real drivers please.
So, how do you enter the RTCC?
Each new team is given a budget of 1,000 credits.. You can enter a maximum of 4 cars, provided you can afford it.
With your budget, you have to buy your cars. Then, you need to name your drivers, and then decide if you want any upgrades.
CARS
You can either secure a contract with a manufacturer, or you can buy independantly. Each manufacturer can offer a works deal. A works team has full factory support.
Remember: The price of each car is based on the performance of the car, but the higher the performance, the lower the reliability...

Drivers:
Only fictional drivers can be entered.
Each driver needs to have his Agression listed which is a value between 0 - 100 (%). As this number increases the AI will give other cars less room, both while passing and while following. It also increases the frequency at which they try to pass and the increases the threshold they are willing to endure before giving up a pass.
Pay drivers:
You can only employ 1 pay driver at a time. Each pay driver brings 10 credits per race. A pay driver will be given random stats.
UPGRADES
You can upgrade your equipment at any time. All upgrades need to be mailed to me. You can choose whether or not I reveal your upgrade information to the other teams.
Car Upgrades:
There are various different upgrades you can apply to your car.
Reduce mass: 10 credits to reduce 1 kg. (You can only reduce your weight by a maximum 10kg per race.)
Increase engine life: 10 credits to add 10 seconds to the average life.
Increase torque: 10 credits to add 1 measure of torque throughout the RPM range.
Driver upgrades:
You can also upgrade your drivers too...
Composure: The lower the number, the higher the frequency of "intentional" mistakes. "intentional" mistakes are things like, taking a turn too wide, or missing a breaking point. By default, this value is set to 10. To add 1 points costs 10 credits.
Speed: How close to "optimal" this driver drives a track. By default this is set to 10. To add 1 point costs 10 credits.

Re: The RTCC is BACK - 2015 season
Ford Competition by Jones Racing (Ford for short!)
Works deal: Mondeo works deal - 860 credits for 2 cars.
Driver 1: Ali Barwick (GBR) Aggression - 72
Driver 2: Available to anyone wanting to enter a driver. No pay drivers.
With Ford having entered a partnership with Jones Racing in the F1RWRS for the latter to become the face of Ford's factory effort, the relationship has continued into the RTCC, with Jones leading Ford's charge in the series.

Since Gillet has returned to open wheel racing only, the team won't be returning.

Also, liveries. If you cannot paint your livery just describe it so I(or someone else - if they're feeling generous) can give it a go, if you can do it yourself then download the template pack.

White Van Man Motorsports (WVM)
Works deal: Ford Mondeo - 860 credits for 2 cars
Driver 1: Andrew Blazer (GBR) Aggression - 92
Driver 2: Thomas Hill (GBR) Aggression - 76
A local white van dealership in the town of Sutton, in south-west London has decided to go all or nothing to become the best dealership in the bloody country. They've signed a deal with Ford for works Mondeos (what else ). Two unsuspecting white van men who happened to visit the dealership at a certain time have become the drivers for this plucky squadron, and with this team portraying stereotypical 'white van man' characteristics as in aggression, fast driving and believing themselves to be the best, they could well spring a surprise.
Numbers will be #21 and #22.

Re: The RTCC is BACK - 2015 season
Team Name:Prism Motorsports
Works deal: Nissan Primera
Driver 1: Alexander Megone (GBR/JPN) Aggression 93%
Driver 2: Aram Stuart (GBR) Aggression 82%
Prism Motorsports has been resurrected after it went to the wall following the demise of the original RTCC, although much of its infrastructure has changed. Gordon Hedley is happily retired and the team is now run by former driver Robbie Thorne (not John!). It is now not only a touring car team but also a rally team, entering Chris Bowman in the TMRRC. Little do they know, as the 2015 season is about to get under way, that the TMRRC is set to die a death as well, leaving Prism's touring car operations as its only activity. Greggs has been persuaded to back the team once again, as has Magnet kitchens, with further sponsorship coming from Evans Halshaw (the chain of car dealerships). If they're not taken yet, Megone will take #4 and Stuart #5.
A note for everyone - Prism is not in any way affiliated with my RWRS team Prospec. There is no connection between the two whatsoever. I think it unlikely that there ever will be.

Dammit! I wanted to keep my Renaults, even if they do turn out to be shite again. Oh well.
Team name: Twinings Earl Grey BMW Racing
Works deal: BMW
Driver 1: (#17) Paul Jenkins (95% aggression) GBR - The now 39-year-old Paul Jenkins has been the stalwart of the Twinings team for all of the intervening period. During that time, he's been in countless battles in the BTCC with the likes of Jason Plato and Matt Neal, and has won his fair share of races and championships. Unfortunately, as a side effect, he's rather highly strung as of late.
Driver 2: (#18) Ryan Carlton (50% aggression) GBR - The planned future of the team, Ryan has been steadily working his way up through the ranks... until now. After Percival Carrington-Smythe left the team because he found it 'dreadfully dull to do the same thing for 2 decades', and decided to pursue his apparent dream of competitive showjumping or something, Carlton was hastily put into the second seat. Most expect him to be completely out of his depth, until he actually gets to grips with a full-fledged touring car.
Driver 3: (#19) ??? - What are you talking about? This is the spare car, nothing more. The team certainly don't plan on entering this thing in a race. At all.

I decide to retire Team Wales and replace it with this:
Team: Team Pentecost/Force 1 Touring (USA)
Car 1 (Accord): Harold Watson (United States, 85% aggresion)
Don Pentecost thought that touring cars is a good idea to promote American racing team and his alternative energy dreams. They signed the African-American driver Harold Watson having signed in a stock car series that failed to start.

I placed the numbers on the sign up as 36 and 37, but more importantly I made a rookie error,
it should be eBay motors, not Ebay motors!

The original underdog RTCC race winner, Garry Jones, has returned from anonymity to race in the newly reformed RTCC. The Sweetcorn Motorsport team is sadly not returning though, with it's fine selection of corn based foods, drinks and even fuels. Jones has signed with Team Lolvo, a team running a Volvo 850 Estate, and run by someone who goes by the pseudonym of Leaf Ericksson. For those disappointed about the loss of sweet corn in RTCC, never fear, as Team Lolvo are set to announce a sponsor whose food is "good for you!"
Jones has recently concentrated on production car endurance racing - his last races were the Bathurst 12 Hour and Hampton Downs 12 Hour, driving a Hyundai Excel X3 and not finishing in both.
