The Chosen One has arrived

Post by DemocalypseNow »

Forget Roy Nissany and David Chaves, we now have the ultimate reject successor in our midst...

Louis Delétraz
Image

Yes, he really IS the son of F1 Rejects legend Jean-Denis. He is racing in the Formula BMW Talent Cup this season. If he wins that he gets a free drive in the German F3 Championship for 2013.

Hopefully in 5 years time he is driving for HRT Image

Where was the Original's money from? Was it odds-and-ends sponsorship or family based (Lavaggi-esque)? If it's the latter then I feel we can have high hopes for young Master Luke, I mean Louis.

Eh, wherever that money came of, Délétraz senior had that unfortunate tendency to default on his payments. We now need to hope Louis wins this thing or his father has now improved his payment behaviour.

Deletraz was born 22 April 1997. So that would make him 15. Hence why I said we would have to wait 5 years for him to drive for HRT :P

I wouldn't be so astonished if I were you, the Formula BMW Talent Cup is pretty much entry level so it is safe to assume that most drivers will be in that age region, maybe a year or two older on average.

At least there is no F1 driver younger than me...just

Also, your signature is so wrong it requires a word that hasn't even been invented yet. So for now, I guess describing it as fottutamente sbagliato is as good as I can do.

Extremely. But that is besides the point.

There are only two big teams in Birmingham. Aston Villa and West Bromwich Albion. Image

What about De La Rosa? He's older than Barrichello and Trulli. PDLR's 41.
